Match 1: Marcus Mathers & Dustin Waller vs StarStruck (Channing Thomas & Anthony Greene)
Bobby Orlando is on the mic with Paul Crockett tonight and he hopes Marcus plays this match straight and doesn’t resort to Dusty’s playbook. But it seems inevitable once he gets frustrated. Channing doing his best to have eyes in the back of his head but he’s suffering at their hands. Finally, he makes a coast to coast dive for the tag! AG flies in and unloads. Back body drop powerbomb combo almost puts Waller down! Waller and matches take notice of Orlando at the desk and start mocking him. Waller even does a sick trick cutter! But they get caught up in their Bs and Greene rolls Waller up for the three!!! They try to beat down StarStruck but Bobby runs in to break it up. It starts going sideways for mom but Flyin Ryan O’Neill hits the ring with a chair and drives them off. And now he has a match himself!
Match 2: Flyin’ Ryan O’Neill (w/ Bobby Orlando) vs Nick Robles
I have long thought of this as a mirror match and sometimes mock Robles by saying I like his other gimmick better. And you bet they do a mirror spot. They look alike. That’s the point. They have a good little scrap. Robles is on top for a bit of this but Flyin’ Ryan hits a swanton to get the win.
Match 3: Sammi Chaos vs Liviyah
Sammi Chaos destroyed Liv a couple weeks back to stop her from winning the Women’s Championship from Kylie Alexa. Liv has a chance for revenge….but can she do it? Liviyah starts aggressive and staying out of harm’s way….until she doesn’t and a side slam crushes her. Sammi puts a LOT of hurt in Liviyah, dragging her around with ease. Liv won’t quit though. She escapes an Alabama slam but slides right into a leg drop. Liv rolls away from a second rope splash…sunset flip sends Sammi back and she cracks her head on the bottom buckle! Liviyah gets the pin!
Liviyah gets the mic and calls her shot for the Women’s Championship she almost won. And next week, there’s a number one contenders rumble…and she plans on being Last Woman Standing.
Match 4: Jermaine Marbury (w/ Benny the Basketball) vs Rain Conway
Marbury is all go at the start, maybe responding to Rain’s jabs in the mic before the match. Marbury tries an up and over and seems to tweak his ankle. Conway just kicks that likes from Underneath Jermaine and goes right for the kill. Marbury is crumbling as Conway tries to make him stand and move. He tries the cross step and collapses. Rain grabs an ankle lock and drags him to the center. Marbury suffers but manages to shove Rain off the ropes and roll him up for the win.
Rain isn’t happy about this result and chop blocks the leg and puts that ankle lock back on. Ref Tiger runs down to help Ref Gina breaks this up. Marbury won but Rain is the one walking out of here under his own power.
Match 5: Aaron Rourke vs Joseph Zamora
Love seeing the Dimepiece around. Cranston doesn’t feel the same way about Zamora. Zamora might not be able to get the love that Rourke gets….but he can certainly beat Aaron down. He’s actually doing quite well but as usual, Zamora gets to wrapped up in talking to his ring post camera chat…Rourke sweeps the leg off the ropes. Zamora caught in the crosshairs. Handspring stunner. Rourke Handsprings across the ring to set up the Molly ground for the win!
Rourke has the mic but Anthony Vecchio’s
Music hits. He’s hyped after his “win” over Bobby Casale last week. Now he’s coming for his original mentor at Create a Pro. He acknowledges Rourke’s WWE exploits but says he just as good as his former mentor. No…better! He accuses Rourke of not believing in him. The Dimepiece reminds him that he’s always been there for Vecchio but he clearly needs a reminder of where he sits on the ladder. Next Monday, they have a date in the ring!
Bear Bronson has a steel corners title clash with Devin Reno next week…but tonight he’s warming up with an Open Challenge! Who is taking the bait and falling into the bear trap? Hahahahaha, it’s DJ Powers! I love that he’s leaning into this “brand ambassador” role.
Match 6: Bear Bronson vs DJ Powers
Cranston HAAAAATES DJ Powers. Powers says he’s gonna pick Bear up and break his skull. He can’t seem to get that first part done. Powers makes Bear mad with a chop and that opens up the gate of pain for the ambassador. Bear unleashes hell on DJ inside and outside the ring. DJ rakes the eyes and gets some shots in. He baits bear with a fake injury and lands a solid superkick. He slips the driver and hits a claymore! DJ hits a Samoan drop?!? Frog splash! Bronson kicks out! DJ makes the same mistake and chops Bronson. He doesn’t learn. He have a minute left when Powers walks into the black hole slam. Fire Thunder driver connects! Bronson wins! Good match.
Main Event: Danny Miles & Bobby Casale(c) vs The Verdict (Bryce Donovan & Vinny Scalise) (for the Wrestling Open Tag Team Championships)
The Verdict got this shot from winning the Von Erich Classic with Devin Reno. Devin’s original challenge didn’t pan out for him…can the Verdict make good on the opportunity? This is Miles and Casale’s first defense of their tag team titles. The champs have the verdict’s number early, almost putting Scalise away with a slam senton combo. Bryce with a sneaky right hand lays Miles out and the Verdict takes control. They put a beating on Danny and keep Casale at bay but that can only last so long. Casale runs wild on the tag…sitout bomb to Vinny for two! Bryce with a blind tag and superkick! Danny stops the double team and the Versict gets trapped in a double submission! Verdict escape…Miles laid out. Bryce hits a black hole slam on Bobby for two! Verdict sent to the floor. It’s crazy to see Milez do that Asai moonsault. Bobbinator connects on Scalise! Miles with a Frogsplash! Bryce pulls Vinny’s foot to the rope! Casale trying to take down Bryce as Scalise posts Miles. Ref Tiger distracted briefly as Bryce hits a low blow! Chokeslam! Casale kicks out! Bryce almost loses his temper at ref Tiger! Bryce tries to chokeslam again but Casale shoves him off….into ref Tiger! Scalise hits a shining wizard and runs to grab the tag title belts! The Verdict is about attack with the belts but StarStruck runs out to stop them! Mikes dives out and wipes out Channing and Scalise. AG and Bryce fight over the belt in the ring…Casale gets cracked with it! Bryce chokeslams Greene. He drags Ref Tiger over and gets the three count. Nooooooooooooooo! Danny Miles is FURIOUS at StarStruck for getting involved and costing them the titles, regardless of their intentions.
