We've received emails from readers regarding reports making the rounds online that TNA is scrambling to get talents signed to new contracts. We are told that last week, during the usual talent meeting before TNA's taping Dothan, Alabama, TNA President Carlos Silva was addressing the locker room and make a remark to the effect that he knows there are a number of contracts coming up, so the company is going to start speaking with those talents. We are told it was just one comment made among a number of comments during Silva's address, that came off as his way of reminding talents things hadn't been forgotten, not a major focus during the meeting.
Nic Nemeth was the latest talent presented a TNA All-Star award last week, stemming from his work at Bound for Glory.
TNA President Carlos Silva missed one of the Impact tapings last week due to his daughter getting married. Our congratulations to the Silva family.
Shotzi Blackheart should start making appearances on TNA programming immediately. Since she has signed here, she is done with MLW.
Former NFL star Shawn Merriman, who appeared as an announcer during the 2025 TNA Unbreakable PPV was ordered to pay $4 million to the family of Kimberly Fattorini, a Playboy employee who died of an overdose in 2017. He was found liable last year along with several others. Merriman was under a WWE deal for a short time period. After his TN appearance, which was done in part to promote an MMA project he was involved in, but it never happened.
