THE MARKET FOR WWE x GHOSTWRITE COLLECTIBLES IS ON FIRE – NEW SUMMERSLAM SET OUT TODAY
One of the hottest items on eBay these days is something you might not expect: rare collectible toys from WWE and ghostwrite. Over the past few months, collectors have paid thousands of dollars for ultra limited editions of these WWE Superstar figures. With a new set hitting the market, the chase is on to find the latest and rarest grails.
“SummerSlam Rivals”, the latest set from ghostwrite and WWE, is releasing this week. The collection features eight pairs of WWE Superstars – a total of 16 wrestlers in total — with each design paying tribute to an historic SummerSlam grudge match. Brett Hart vs The British Bulldog; Triple H vs Shawn Michaels.; LA Knight vs Logan Paul – over three decades of SummerSlam drama in one collectible set.

ghostwrite blind box sets are just like trading cards: collectors hunt the ultra-rare ‘parallels’ – special variants that are randomly inserted in the cases. Over the past several months, collectors have been flocking to secondary markets like eBay, and several figures from previous ghostwrite x WWE sets have sold for eye-popping sums.
The most valuable WWE ghostwrite sale came last month, on eBay, when a Hulk Hogan Chrome /5 sold for $4,000. Several other WWE ghostwrite parallels from the first two ghostwrite sets have sold for four figure sums, including The Rock, Logan Paul and Rhea Ripley.

“Collectors are voting with their wallets: some of the most valuable ghostwrite figures on the secondary market are from our WWE sets. What’s even more remarkable is that we’ve yet to see any of the rarest WWE figures – the 1-o-1 Fire Crown parallels – hit the open market. Last month, a 1-of-1 Victor Wembanyana ghostwrite figure sold for a record-setting $52,500, so the ceiling for those grails just keeps getting higher” – Jesse Einhorn, co-founder of ghostwrite
Like other ghostwrite sets, each wrestler in the latest SummerSlam Rivals set comes in a 1-of-1 Fire Crown design, which means there are sixteen new grails out there for collectors to chase.
A limited number of SummerSlam Rivals cases are available at auction now on ghostwrite.com – bidding ends at midnight PST on Friday October 16th. The rest of the cases will be sold via breakers, hobby shops, and other ghostwrite partners.
