ALEX GRACIA VS. HEATHER BY ELEGANCE & MORE: 10/16 TNA XPLOSION REPORT

By Mike Johnson on 2026-10-16 13:02:00

Welcome to this week's TNA Xplosion report.

Amazing Red vs. AJ Styles - TNA PPV Week 25

Red charges in to start fast, but Styles repeatedly shoves him away, taking a shot to the face for his trouble. A 619 rocks Styles and sends him outside, where he catches Red’s dive and turns it into a powerbomb backbreaker. Back inside, Red unloads with strikes, only for a discus clothesline to bring him crashing back down.  A middle-rope sunset flip goes nowhere, but Red backflips over Styles (which looks great) and lands right into a failed Styles Clash attempt. Red counters with a tornado DDT, only for Styles to turn it into a Northern Lights suplex and regain control. Styles' manager Mortimer Plumtree even sneaks in a few shots, earning himself an anklescissors for his efforts. Styles retaliates by dropping him face-first onto the steps, but Red still manages to snap off a hurrancanrana.  A reverse DDT earns Styles a two count before he locks in a Muta Lock, even rolling onto his stomach to crank back harder. When that fails to finish things, Styles plants Red with a hard sitout powerbomb, and they head to the top rope. The super Styles Clash is blocked, however, and Red counters with a super hurricanrana to score the pin.

You winner, AJ Styles!

She thanked Eric Young, Tracy Brooks, Brian and Earl Hebner, Jerry and Jeff Jarrett, and TNA. She then thanked the fans.

They showed the Hardys vs. The Nemeths.

Amazing Red Hall of Fame induction speech - Cory Strode reporting

Red starts by saying he was just a Spanish kid from Brooklyn, and everyone made this a reality for him. He thanks Frankie. He then thanks Don West for helping him with promos. He says when he started, he didn’t know why he was here, but when people showed up, he knew why he was here.   He thanks Chris DeVine, who got him to shows when he started. Brian XL, the man he made House of Glory with. He thanks his family. He then thanks the fans for making the X Division big. He then says he is in the X Division match later tonight.

Amazing Red vs. X-Division Champion Kid Kash - TNA PPV #45

Kash and Red tumble to the floor after an initial lockup, where Kash sends Red back-first into the guardrail. Red fires back with a flurry of punches before they return to the ring, and Red catches the champion with an arm drag. He misses a standing somersault leg drop, though, allowing Kash to backdrop him onto the apron. Kash avoids Red’s somersault dive to the floor and follows up by throwing a chair into Red’s face. Back inside, Kash leaps off the top with a clothesline, then connects with a swinging neckbreaker for two.

Konnan TNA Hall of Fame induction - Cory Strode reporting

Cruz Montana (Mike Santana in TNA) is out next to induct Konnan and says he will be showing something the people here worked hard on, and it’s the video package for Konnan highlights. He says he didn’t write anything because it will come straight from his heart. He says without Konnan, there are no Latino wrestlers and no cruiserweight division of Lucha Libre in the US. Sitting under his learning tree was the most important part of his life.

Kash keeps the pressure on with a clothesline that nearly ends the match, followed by a Boston Crab. He abandons the hold to powerbomb Red for another two-count. Red answers with a spinning kick, but Kash counters with a German suplex and a facebuster before locking in a camel clutch in the middle of the ring.  The two trade a series of pinning attempts until Red catches Kash with a kick to the head. The Code Red follows, but Kash kicks out at two! Red connects with a springboard dropkick and the 718, then adds a springboard elbow drop, only for Kash to survive another near fall.  Kash fights back with a springboard somersault dive, but the referee goes down in the process. Of course, that opens the door for the masked luchador to interfere, planting Kash with a reverse DDT. The referee takes his time getting back into position, but eventually makes the count, and Red walks away with the title.

Your winner, The Amazing Red!

Alex Gracia vs. Heather by Elegance

Heather keeps going for the hair to escape holds.  Heather shoulderblocked her down.  She walked over Gracia in a huge show of disrespect.  Gracia came back with a pair of rollups for a two count.  Heather nailed a DDT but Gracia kicked out.  Heather faked her out and nailed another DDT, but Gracia kicked up.  Heather blasted her with a forearm but Gracia started fighting from underneath.  Heather caught her in a Boston Crab, trying to force the submission.  Gracia escaped and nailed a nice belly to back suplex.  She nailed a backstabber for a two count.    Heather came back with a double stomp off the ropes for the pin.

Your winner, Heather by Elegance!
