MLP NORTHERN RISING COMES TO TSN, MyAEW AND FIGHT NATION IN THREE-PART TELEVISION SPECIAL
MAPLE LEAF PRO Wrestling’s Sold-Out PPV Event From Maple Leaf Gardens, Headlined by Legendary Canadian Superstar Adam Copeland,
Begins Airing Wednesday, October 14
TORONTO (October 9, 2026) – MAPLE LEAF PRO Wrestling (MLP) announced today that its historic MLP NORTHERN RISING event will be showcased as a three-part television special beginning Wednesday, October 14, on TSN, MyAEW and Fight Nation.
Originally presented live on pay-per-view on Saturday, October 3, MLP NORTHERN RISING marked a major milestone for MAPLE LEAF PRO, selling out Toronto’s Mattamy Athletic Centre, the iconic venue formerly known as Maple Leaf Gardens.
Headlined by Canadian wrestling legend and AEW superstar Adam Copeland facing Steve Maclin in a Street Fight, MLP NORTHERN RISING featured Copeland's emotional first-ever match inside the historic arena where he watched his first pro wrestling card. The event also showcased three MLP title matches, plus AEW National Champion Andrade El Idolo taking on Rohan Raja.
With a capacity crowd filling the celebrated building, MLP NORTHERN RISING delivered an unforgettable atmosphere and a night that will be remembered as a significant chapter in Canadian wrestling history.
“We’re always looking to try new things and find new ways to make our content reach further,” said MAPLE LEAF PRO Wrestling President Scott D’Amore. “We have the opportunity to turn one incredible live event into three weeks of television, with each special built around a featured match. If you were there, you know what that night felt like. If you missed it, this is your chance to experience the moment for yourself.”
The three-part television special will air over three consecutive weeks:
• Part One: Wednesday, October 14
• Part Two: Wednesday, October 21
• Part Three: Wednesday, October 28
The marquee presentation of MLP NORTHERN RISING will air on TSN in Canada, and stream in more than 100 countries worldwide through MyAEW. It will also be available on Fight Nation for French-speaking audiences in Europe. Individual platform premiere times and availability will be announced through the respective broadcast partners.
The special follows the successful first season of MLP MAYHEM and continues MAPLE LEAF PRO's commitment to bringing premium professional wrestling programming to audiences across Canada and internationally.
For fans who missed the live pay-per-view and those wanting to relive the atmosphere of a sold-out Maple Leaf Gardens, the three-part presentation offers another opportunity to experience the biggest night in MAPLE LEAF PRO history.
