Yuto calls New Japan the best pro wrestling company in the world. The Korakuen Crowd chants for Jeff Cobb. Cobb comes to the ring. Yuto says when they face Ospreay and the United Empire lets show that New Japan is the best wrestling company in the world.
With Will Ospreay, the AEW World Champion, coming in to defend the NEVER 6-man Openweight Championship on October 12, New Japan is doing as much as they can to hype this event. The NEVER belts are not the main storyline here, nor are the Knockout Brothers. The main story should be the integrity of United Empire. Dissention has been teased between Ospreay and O-Khan for months. If Cobb and The Knockout Brothers win the NEVER belts due to a miscommunication between Ospreay and O-Khan that should lead to United Empire turning on Ospreay. However, does AEW want their World Champion to lose in a tag match to Unbound Company? Whatever the direction they choose, New Japan needs to cut Ospreay loose from his commitments to New Japan and let him be in AEW. New Japan needs to focus on their own wrestlers and build their roster in front of their own fans.
