New Japan Pro Wrestling announced:
On November 16, NJPW's stars and CMLL's super estrellas will do battle at the first ever Lucha Kingdom card in the legendary cathedral of lucha libre in Arena Mexico.
The card has its first mega match, as El Desperado will take on Mistico in a battle of the current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag team Champions.
The masked duo won the titles back at Dontaku, and in the immediate aftermath of their title victory, Desperado challenged Mistico to a one on one bout. That match happened at Dominion in June with Desperado victorious via submission, but Mistico was quick to request a rematch 'on my home turf'. That request has now been granted, and the CMLL icon will now face his own partner in the cathedral!
