John Cena's Coyote vs. Acme is now available for digital rental and purchases via Prime Video and other platforms.
Following this weekend, John Cena's Coyote vs. Acme has brought in $$92,469,753 to date worldwide at the box office.
The film, once slated for deletion by Warner Bros. Discovery, is believed to have been purchased by Ketchup Entertainment for $50 million with another $10 million spent on promotion. It is by far the most successful release by Ketchup to date.
The film tells the tale of "a down-on-his-luck (human) attorney (Will Forte) who takes on Wile E Coyote. as a client in his suit against Acme over its defective products, only to discover that his boss at his former law firm is representing Acme."
Cena plays the lead lawyer at Acme and is the top villain in the film. He is very entertaining job in the role, specifically during a scene with Tweety Bird.
In November 2023, The Hollywood Reporter reported that the film had been canceled by Warner Bros Discovery and would not be released despite filming having been completed on the live action-CGI film. WBD, which shelved the film after it was completed, eventually sold Coyote vs. Acme to Ketchup Entertainment in March 2025, rescuing the film from oblivion.
The film has received lots of positive reviews and is absolutely a lovely love letter to the mayhem and greatness of The Looney Tunes characters.
