AEW's MJF appears in the trailer for the forthcoming film Stranglehold:
The plot of the film, which will be released digitally on 10/2 - "Obsessed with the glamorous influencers she follows on social media and fed up with her life of barely getting by, a small-town Arkansas stripper named Bailey (Ashley Benson) decides to rob the club she works at with the help of her ex-military husband, Tim (Jake Lacy), so they can give their infant daughter a decent Christmas and a better life."
Former WWE broadcaster Kayla "Braxton" Becker playing a supporting role as Ashley, a dancer in the club that the leads intend to rob.
The film was shot in 2024 and was directed by Clark Duke, who co-wrote the screenplay with Chandler Duke and Billington Garrett.
MJF will next be seen in Violent Night 2.
