This week’s episode of Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Mayhem is from St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario. Our commentary team is Don Callis and Mauro Ranallo.
Rhino vs Steve Maclin
Maclin sends Rhino down the ramp and beats him down at ringside. They work into the ring, and Rhino gets the upper hand. Rhino goes for a gore, and Maclin pepper sprays him. The referees help Rhino wash out his eyes.
Rhino calls for the match to begin, and he nails Maclin with a wild blow. Rhino accidentally clotheslines the ref, and Maclin hits a low blow.
Winner: Rhino by Disqualification
Maclin beats down Rhino and then rolls out of the ring to get steel chairs. Maclin punches the referee and goes after Rhino with a steel chair. Maclin then gives Rhino a con-chair-to. Rhino is going to be stretchered to the back, but Maclin attacks the doctor.
Maclin is then removed from the building by security as he yells that he will see Copeland on October 3rd.
Rohan Raja w/Aurora Teves vs Capitan Suicida
They lock up and move to arm bars. Capitan gets an arm drag. They lock up, and Rohan gets a takedown for two. They run the ropes, and Rohan gets a shoulder tackle. They run the ropes again, and Capitan gets a tejaris. Capitan dives over the top rope onto Rohan. Rohan is rolled into the ring, and Capitan goes to the top. Tevas distracts him, and Rohan gets a dropkick onto Capitan, who is on top as we go to commercials.
When we return, Capitan gets a series of kicks from the corner into a cutter for two. Capitan hits a swanton from the top for two. Rohan gets a big strike, and they go back and forth until Capitan gets a big kick. Rohan gets a sidewalk slam for two. Rophas runs into a big boot, and Tevas grabs his foot. Rohan gets a running knee strike to Capitan’s back and follows up with The Beast for the pin and the win.
Winner: Rohan Raja
Rohan attacks Capitan after the match and pulls his mask off, with Capitan covering his face.
In the back, Psycho Mike is still hearing and seeing someone who tells him he needs to pay attention and learn, and there will be no more whispering. We now see the voice and figure is Crazzy Steve. Mike grabs him and screams that he can hear him, and he will be what the Crazzy Steve wants him to be.
We get a recap of Priscilla Kelly’s time in MLP before her match with Giselle Shaw tonight.
Bryce Hanson w/Sheldon Jean and Brent Banks vs. The Already In The Ring London Lightning
Dan Maff attacks both of them when they leave the ring. Maff then rolls Hanson into the ring and hits a Burning Hammer on Hanson.
No contest
Psycho Mike runs to the ring with a Kendo stick and nails him off the apron. Crazy Steve then attacks Psycho Mike with the Kendo stick and beats him down in the ring.
In the back, Stu Grayson is pounding on Josh Alexander’s door with Evil Uno trying to calm him down. The door is answered by someone who says all of Alexander’s discussions will be done in the ring.
MLP Women's Champion Gisèle Shaw vs. Priscilla Kelly
They lock up and move quickly to arm bars. Kelly gets a takedown, and Shaw pops up almost immediately. They fight in the corner, and Shaw gets an arm drag and follows with a basement kick. Shaw gives Kelly a slap. Kelly fires back with a series of blows and follows with a dropkick and then a running dropkick to send Shaw to the floor. Shaw sweeps Kelly’s leg off the apron. Shaw runs Kelly into the ring steps as we go to commercial.
When we return to full screen, Shaw pulls Kelly down in a headlock and then locks in a rear chinlock. Kelly fights to her feet and fights free. Shaw gets a rising knee strike. Kelly is sent to the corner, and Shaw runs into a big boot. Kelly gets an elbow strike, and Shaw follows with forearms. Shaw gets a backfist and runs into a kick, and both women are down. As they get to their feet, they throw hands, slowly. The blows come faster, and Kelly takes over with multiple blows. Kelly gets a sling blade and a spin kick. Kelly gets a running lariat for two. Kelly gets a series of Kawata kicks but runs into a thrust kick from Shaw. They go back and forth with attacks with a charge until Shaw gets a spear and a two-count. Shaw gets a Death Valley bomb for two.
Shaw grabs a rear chinlock, and Kelly gets to the ropes, but Shaw uses the rope to kick back to the middle of the ring. Kelly rolls backward to get a two-count on Shaw. Kelly gets a German suplex with a bridge for two. Shaw gets Shock and Awe for two. Shaw charges at Kelly, who trips her. Kelly gets a forearm and sliding strike for the pin and the win.
