WWE’s return to Bogotá, Colombia, after more than seven years away was met with a disappointing turnout, with attendance falling well below expectations for promoter Move Concerts Colombia.
The September 10, 2026, event at Movistar Arena featured large sections of empty seats, with estimates suggesting that the venue was only slightly more than half full. Reports indicated that between 3,500 and 4,000 tickets remained unsold.
Despite the disappointing attendance, the show itself featured several entertaining matches and strong individual performances.
The doors opened at 6:00 PM, while the show was scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM. However, the event started approximately 20 minutes late, possibly giving the promotion additional time to sell tickets at the last minute.
The lack of a large crowd was apparent almost immediately. Empty seats could be seen throughout the arena, particularly in the ringside areas and on the second and third levels.
The turnout was a significant contrast to WWE’s previous visit to Bogotá in 2019. On that occasion, Move Concerts reportedly sold out the event approximately a week and a half before the show, with around 14,000 paid ticket holders. That figure did not include fans who entered with complimentary tickets, press credentials or other forms of access.
This time, attendance was only slightly more than half of that number.
The empty seats remained noticeable throughout the evening and ultimately became one of the defining aspects of WWE’s return to the Colombian capital.
The low attendance came despite ticket prices that were among the highest on WWE’s current Latin American tour.
The least expensive general-admission ticket for the Bogotá house show was priced at $56.43, while the most expensive ticket outside the VIP packages reached $284.07. The five VIP packages were also priced significantly higher than comparable options at other events on the tour.
The tour has primarily been promoted by Move Concerts, which paid WWE for the Bogotá and Buenos Aires events. In Quito, Ecuador, the show was promoted through a partnership between Move Concerts and Sight Concerts, while DG Medios handled the Chilean event.
The situation in Chile was notably different, with the show selling out weeks in advance and all five VIP package tiers also reaching capacity.
Official merchandise at Movistar Arena was also expensive for Colombian fans.
The Undisputed WWE Championship was priced at $332.25. Replica gloves associated with Rey Fénix and Penta were listed at 260,000 Colombian pesos, approximately $83.73.
Stephanie Vaquer’s horns and several official T-shirts were priced at $41.87, while a WWE-logo cap cost $32.21.
Autographed photographs of Penta and Stephanie Vaquer were available for $28.98. Stephanie Vaquer’s pendant or earring, along with the official event program or mini-magazine, cost $19.32.
Another factor that may have affected fan expectations was the absence of several advertised performers.
The most notable was Becky Lynch. The Man had originally been advertised for a triple-threat match for the WWE Women’s World Championship against Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer.
However, Lynch did not compete.
She eventually appeared following the women’s tag team match, wearing street clothes and carrying a kendo stick. Lynch helped Stephanie Vaquer and Sol Ruca after Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodríguez attacked them.
Her appearance received a positive reaction, but fans had clearly expected to see Lynch wrestle.
DANHAUSEN was also absent, as were Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford of The Street Profits, who had been promoted for the event for months.
Oba Femi did appear and received one of the strongest reactions of the night, but he did not wrestle. Instead, he came to the ring to help Akira Tozawa and Otis after they were attacked by Bron Breakker and Austin Theory.
The Bogotá card also featured fewer wrestlers than the WWE Live event held in Quito.
The opening match featured Chad Gable defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Dragon Lee, Ethan Page and Penta. Gable successfully retained the championship in a match that followed a similar structure to the four-way bout presented in Quito. Penta generated one of the biggest crowd reactions of the evening when he entered wearing a Colombia national team jersey. The shirt was not part of his planned entrance attire; a fan at ringside threw it to him as he made his way to the ring. Following the match, Penta and Gable waved the Colombian flag. They initially held it upside down, but Penta noticed the crowd's reaction and quickly corrected its position.
Joe Hendry once again connected with the Colombian crowd by performing his entrance song in Spanish and adding the greeting, "Hola Bogotá." Hendry then defeated JD McDonagh in a short but entertaining match.
Iyo Sky faced Bayley in singles competition in the third match of the evening. The contest had originally been announced as a Fatal 4-Way but was ultimately changed to a singles match. Sky defeated Bayley in what was arguably the best-received match of the night. The crowd repeatedly chanted "This is awesome!" and "This is wrestling!" during the contest.
Bron Breakker and Austin Theory, accompanied by Maxxine Dupri, defeated Akira Tozawa and Otis to retain the WWE World Tag Team Championship. The match did not end the confrontation, however. Breakker and Theory continued attacking Tozawa and Otis after the bell until Oba Femi came out to make the save. Femi received one of the loudest reactions of the evening despite not competing.

Stephanie Vaquer & Sol Ruca defeated WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan & WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez, after the match Becky Lynch makes the save for Vaquer and Ruca After the match, Morgan and Rodríguez attacked Vaquer and Ruca. Lynch eventually appeared with a kendo stick and intervened, preventing the attack from continuing.
The show concluded with Seth Rollins, LA Knight and Solo Sikoa defeating Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu. Jey Uso received a particularly negative reaction from the Bogotá crowd, including chants of "You can't wrestle!"
WWE’s return to Bogotá seven years after its previous visit ultimately fell well short of the attendance achieved in 2019.
A combination of high ticket prices, expensive merchandise, several advertised performers being absent and a relatively small crowd contributed to a disappointing overall turnout. The reported 3,500 to 4,000 unsold tickets left Movistar Arena with large visible sections of empty seats throughout the event.
The in-ring product, however, provided some positives.
Iyo Sky vs. Bayley was the best-received match of the evening, followed by the opening Fatal 4-Way for the Intercontinental Championship. Penta and Oba Femi generated the two strongest individual crowd reactions, with Penta's Colombian-themed entrance and Femi's surprise appearance standing out among the night's biggest moments.
Ultimately, WWE's Bogotá return will be remembered less for the attendance success the company enjoyed in 2019 and more for the combination of disappointing ticket sales, high prices and missing stars, despite a show that delivered several quality matches.
