As PWInsiderElite.com reported several weeks ago, Santino Marella and the former Vladimir Kozlov, Oleg Prudius, will be one of the teams racing on the CW Network's forthcoming new series The Great American Road Rally - Celebrity Edition. The duo teamed together in WWE in 2010 and 2011.
The series will celebrate 100 years of America's Route 66 and premieres 9/16 at 9 PM Eastern on the CW.
Hosted by actor Ian Ziering, "The Great American Road Rally — Celebrity Edition sends celebrity teams down historic Route 66 in classic cars, 2,211 miles from Chicago to Santa Monica in the road's centennial year — every mile driven for a cause, airing weekly on The CW from September 16, 2026."
The series will feature "A competition-style road trip focused on community events, challenges, and raising money and awareness for various charities rather than high-speed racing."
Marella regularly appears for TNA as the promotion's storyline Director of Authority.
Prudius has focused on his acting career in recent years, appearing in a number of films.
