CMLL issued the following:
"Regarding Tessa Blanchard’s participation in Major League Wrestling (MLW), Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) states that the agreement between the parties is strictly limited to her participation in the September 12 event and does not include any additional commitments or the opportunity to compete for any championship. Therefore, there is no agreement between Tessa Blanchard, MLW, and CMLL that extends beyond this appearance."
