Welcome to the TNA Thursday Night Impact report!
TNA is live on tape from Brampton, Ontario with Tom Hannifan and Matt Rehwoldt on the call.
Matt Hardy came to the ring for a promo. He said that The Hardys walked into Lockdown as the TNA Champions but didn't walk out as champions. The wrestling world calls them the GOATs. They have held many titles across many companies but the most special titles they have held is in TNA. They are 35 years into their journey and those belts are special to them. They intended to cash in their rematch clause but someone attacked Jeff and he had to go to the hospital. He's never seen Jeff in a position where he can't bounce back like he has after this attack. He said Ryan and Nic Nemeth had the most to gain from attacking Jeff, so Matt is holding them responsible. They may have thought they had taken out The Hardys, but the Hardys will not die.
TNA Tag Team Champions The Nemeths came out. Nic asked why won't Matt die tonight. He said Matt came out and proceeded to make excuses for ten minutes. He told Matt that whoever attacked Jeff, it wasn't them. When they beat The Hardys, they proved they were the best family in pro wrestling. If someone took out Jeff, it wasn't going to be Nic doing that work for free. Matt told him he made a mistake by coming out and attacked them Nemeths. He went to hit the Twist of Fate on Nic but Ryan attacked him. They double-teamed Matt as security hit the ring trying to break up the scene.
Gia Miller interviewed Trey Miguel. He will face Jason Hotch in the main event to become the top contender to the TNA International title. Miguel praised Hotch, who he said he trained, but tonight, may the best man live. He said Ali deserves everything he has coming to him after he gets past Hotch.
Backstage, Elayna Black said everything she went through at Lockdown has really effected her but she's not making excuses. The Elegance Brand walked past her and said they are getting ready to celebrate M by Elegance becoming the first-ever Knockouts TV Champion. M said that unlike Elayna, she didn't let down everyone who came to see her. Black said she might just take the belt. M deflected and said Heather by Elegance will fight her. The Elegance Brand were oblivious to the fact Heather wasn't thrilled.
AJ Francis with Expressions vs. Brent Oakley
Oakley tried to mess with Expressions but that allowed Francis to wipe him out and score the pin.

Francis said he just proved he's the best big man in pro wrestling and the greatest AJ to ever wrestle for TNA. He challenged Avery Styles to face him in Styles' first-ever TNA match. He challenged him to come out and get ass-whipping his father never gave him.
Out came Santino Marella. He said normally he would not agree with them but today, he does. Marella asked Avery Styles to come out. Styles' music hit and he came to the entrance stage. Marella asked Avery if he would like to face AJ next week. Avery said, "Hell yeah." Kazarian came out and said it's not happening and told Avery he's not ready for this yet. He demanded production played his music as he pulled Avery backstage.
Backstage, Daria Rae told Zoey Serrano and Xia Brookside that they didn't need luck, but she needed them to beat their opponents tonight.
TNA Knockouts Champion Xia Brookside & Zoey Serrano vs. Indi Hartwell & Harley Hudson
Daria Rae joined the announcers.
Xia immediately tagged out so Serrano had to start against Indi. Hartwell nailed a lariat but was caught with a superkick. Hartwell nailed several clotheslines in the corner. Serrano charged but was nailed and went to the floor. Serrano and Xia had words on the floor. Serrano "shoved" a fan at ringside. Hudson tagged in and worked over Xia's arm, then tagged Indi back in. Hudson and Indi took turns tagging in and out as they worked over the Knockouts Champion. Hudson was knocked to the floor, where Serrano choked her on the floor before tossing her back infor Xia to cinch in a side chinlock. Serrano and Xia cut the ring off and scored several near falls on Hudson as they controlled her in the ring.
Hudson tried to fight back but was caught by Xia. Serrano charged but Hudson ducked and she accidentally nailed Xia. Indi made thr hot tag and cleaned house on Serrano, showing some nice fire. Hartwell nailed a spinebuster on Serrano but Xia broke up the pinfall. All four battled inside the ring, slugging it out. Serrano nailed a big back suplex on Indi. Xia tagged in and covered Indi but she kicked out. Serrano and Xia began arguing. Indi booted Serrano off the apron. Hudson nailed a dive off the apron on Zoey. Indi cinched a butterfly arm submission on Xia and trapped, she had no choice but to tap.

Daria was not happy about Xia tapping.
The Injury Report: Jeff Hardy is out of action with head and torso trauma and is not cleared. Several TNA roster members are dealing with lingering Lockdown injuries. Mustafa Ali is down with a punctured lung.
They returned from commercial to find Ryan Nemeth laid out in a stairwell.
Joe Alonzo vs. KC Navarro to qualify for Bound for Glory X-Division Championship Match
Leon Slater joined the announcers.
Alonzo cut an arrogant promo on the way out, knocking Leon and KC before promising the become the new X-Division Champion.
Navarro controlled the match early on and caught Alonzo with a kick to the head. Alonzo caught him trying to go up and over, dumping KC to the floor. Navarro attacked him on the floor, hitting a belly to back suplex on the apron outside. He tossed KC back into the ring, scoring a two count. Alonzo stomped away at him. Alonzo scored with several suplexes, but could not get the pinfall. Navarro battled back and they crashed in the center of the ring by going for high cross bodyblocks at the same time. They fought to their feet with KC nailing a running lariat. He drilled Alonzo with a leaping forearm and then a twisting DDT for a two count. They battled back and forth until Alonzo pulled the referee between himself and KC and used that to nail a kick. Navarro finally drilled Alonzo with the Blessing in Disguise and scored the pin.

Fabian Aichner said he looks forward to qualifying and seeing KC Navarro at Bound for Glory.
TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions Kiera Hogan & Allie vs. Vipress & Shazza McKenzie
Allie and Shazza started off. Allie caught her with a Lou Thesz Press before tagging out to Hogan. Hogan nailed a leaping clothesline in the corner. Allie followed up with a hip attack in the corner. Hogan nailed one in the ropes and a step-up legdrop followed. Vipress nailed Hogan from the outside and tagged in, working her over with a big dropkick in the corner. She rained down with forearm smashes on the mat and drilled Hogan into the buckles. Shazza tagged in and drilled her with elbows. Hogan came back with a series of kicks and then tagged Allie in.
Allie cleaned house on Vipress, including a running kneelift. Allie hung herself upside down, using her legs to work over Vipress. Hogan tossed Shazza to the floor. The champs double-teamed Vipress and scored the pin.

Backstage, Indi Hartwell said she just beat Xia Brookside, but Daria just announced Gabby Forza is the new top contender to Xia's title. Indi said she was just trying to get under her skin and plead her case but Daria walked off.
Ricky Sosa cut a promo backstage and said he was still standing, despite The System's best efforts. The System said he was tough but that means nothing when you are standing against The Gatekeppers. Elijah arrived and told them to leave him alone. They said they will take it up with Santino.
BDE with Rich Swann vs. Dutch with Vincent
VIncent wants to prove BDE should be with them, so he order Dutch to lay down and let BDE pin him. Dutch agrees but BDE looks around. Vincent say his first victory is right there, so all he has to do is take it. BDE landed an elbow instead. He nailed Dutch with a series of rights. Dutch caught him going for a bodypress and slammed him. Dutch attacked and beat the hell out BDE. He had words with Swann. BDE fired back with right hands but was caught with the swinging Bubba slam, Death Walks, for the pin.
Your winner, Dutch!
Swann checked on BDE after the match but Vincent attacked and laid him out. The Righteous pulled BDE out of the ring and carried him to the back.
Mila Moore was speaking to Mustafa Ali on the phone. John Skyler attempted to ask her out but she was too preoccupied with what Ali was asking of her, including tracking down Special Agent Zero.
Jason Hotch vs. Trey Miguel to become next challenger for TNA International Champion Mustafa Ali
The faced of at the bell and shook hands. They grappled back and forth with neither getting a big advantage early on. They kept facing off after exchanges of moves. They went into a test of strength. Miguel sent Hotch into the ropes and rolled him up. They battled back and forth and went for dropkicks at the same time before facing off yet again. Hotch scored with several strikes and a boot to the face. Hotch sent Trey to the ropes but he was caught with a shoulderblock and a head scissors takedown. Hotch was sent to the floor. Miguel went for a sliding kick but Hotch avoided it and hit a dive to the floor.
They battled on the floor and back into the ring, where Trey scored several two counts. Miguel nailed a running back elbow and hit a legdrop off the ropes for a two count. Miguel cinched in a front chancery, trying to wear down Hotch. They continued to battle back and forth. Hotch nailed a doublestomp and followed up with a big uppercut. Hotch nailed an enziguiri and a rolling neckbreaker for a two count. Hotch missed another doublestomp but caught Miguel with one on the rebound for another close two count.
Miguel caught Hotch with a double clap to the ears as they were on the ropes. Miguel nailed a Posionrana but Hotch rolled through and nailed a twisting Rack bomb for a two count. They battled back and forth with forearms. Miguel nailed an enziguri and drilled each other with bodypresses, then kipped up and hit a double kick to the head in stereo. They continued battling until Special Agent Zero hit the ring and attacked both. Well, that was f***ing lame. Zero attacked and laid out both, with the idea that Mustafa Ali issued the order for Zero to destroy the competition.
No winner.
Backstage, Nic Nemeth and Matt Hardy were at each other's throats, accusing the other of taking out their brother. Santino announced they will face off next week with the title on the line and No DQ.
