GUNTHER called out Sami Zayn, who emerged from the crowd. Zayn proclaimed that an Undisputed WWE Champion should be a good guy, not someone like CM Punk, and declared that no one would receive a title shot until he got his. Finn Balor and Kevin Owens got involved, chasing off Zayn.
Backstage, CM Punk was seen speaking with Smackdown GM Nick Aldis before turning his attention to Johnny Gargano, who was resting on a crate. Punk delivered a pep talk to Gargano and offered him a WWE Championship match. A Gargano jumped up and immediately accepted.

Nikki Bella was being interviewed when Paige got in her face. They agreed to face each other in Mexico City.
Nick Aldis stood in the ring called out Chelsea Green. Green cut a promo stating she had waited 13 years for this moment and didn't care what the physician in the ring had to say. The doctor said Green was cleared to return to ring action, provided she wears a protective face mask. Nia Jax and Lash Legend interrupted to demand a title shot, followed closely by Tiffany Stratton. Aldis granted Jax a title opportunity for Smackdown in Mexico City. He then set a bout between Jax and Stratton for right then and there.

Blake Monroe was attacked by GIULIA and they battled into the arena.
WWE Champion CM Punk defeated Johnny Gargano. Lots of involvement from all the other challengers.
