The National Wrestling Alliance Celebrates Its 78th Anniversary with Historic NWA POWERRR Simulcasts on Comet and Sinclair Broadcast Group's CHARGE!
The National Wrestling Alliance celebrates its 78th anniversary with historic simulcasts of NWA POWERRR on both Comet and Sinclair Broadcast Group's top-rated CHARGE!, beginning this Saturday.
Beginning August 29, the next five action-packed episodes of NWA POWERRR will air free simultaneously on both Comet and CHARGE! at 4 PM ET / 3 PM CT / 4 PM PT. During that time, NWA's weekly flagship NWA POWERRR broadcasts will be dedicated to NWA 78, the legendary promotion's annual anniversary spectacular.
CHARGE! is a free, over-the-air digital broadcast network owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group and focused on action and adventure programming. In addition to reaching 51 million Nielsen Television Index (NTI) homes across the United States, including ABC owned-and-operated (O&O) stations in several of the nation's largest television markets, CHARGE! is available over the air, through cable providers, and via streaming services including YouTube TV, Hulu, and Fubo.
The dates and times for this historic NWA POWERRR simulcast on CHARGE! are:
NWA 78 Episode 1 – August 29, 4 PM ET
NWA 78 Episode 2 – September 5, 4 PM ET
NWA 78 Episode 3 – September 12, 4 PM ET
NWA 78 Episode 4 – September 19, 4 PM ET
NWA 78 Episode 5 – September 26, 4 PM ET, with an encore presentation at Midnight ET
The NWA POWERRR simulcast is scheduled to air across Sinclair Broadcast Group's CHARGE! affiliates, including ABC owned-and-operated stations in six of the nation's top 10 television markets:
WABC Channel 7.3 – New York KABC
Channel 7.3 – Los Angeles WLS
Channel 7.3 – Chicago WPVI
Channel 6.3 – Philadelphia
KTRK Channel 13.3 – Houston
KGO Channel 7.3 – San Francisco
NWA POWERRR airs free every Saturday at 4 PM ET / 3 PM CT / 4 PM PT on Comet, with encore broadcasts at Midnight ET (11 PM CT). Fans can also catch up anytime on Tubi.
Each action-packed episode features NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Thrillbilly Silas Mason; NWA World Women's Champion "La Princesa" Tiffany Nieves alongside Television's Most Attractive and 6'6" phenom The Giant Gretta; Aron Stevens and his Federation of Champions; and many more stars of the National Wrestling Alliance.
