COMPLETE WWE RAW COVERAGE FROM OTTAWA

We opened with a look back at everything that went down last week with LA Knight, The Bloodline and Solo Sikoa.

LA Knight made his way to the ring.   He said that since he's in the capitol city of Canada, he wants to talk about a Capital-C coward in Roman Reigns.  If he won matches at Wrestlemania and Summerslam on his own, why is he sending his family out there to run interference and keep LA Knight away?  Why is he telling Knight he doesn't deserve a shot.  The crowd chanted he deserves it.  He tells Knight to go win a tournament.  Roman sent all the family members after him except Solo, who told Knight all the he needed to know.  Now, he's got Solo Sikoa with him.  Solo came through the crowd but before much could be said, out came The Usos.  The Usos knocked Solo for siding with Knight over his own family.  They ripped on Knight and Solo, so Solo challenged them to fight tonight in a tag team match.

They aired a recap of the lucha tournament for the right to face Roman Reigns in Mexico City. 

Roxanne Perez vs. Stephanie Vaquer

Roxanne Perez tried to avoid Stephanie Vaquer early by retreating into the ropes, but Vaquer quickly took control and made Perez’s arm her primary target. Perez nearly scored with a La Magistral cradle, only for Vaquer to answer with a cradle of her own before stretching Perez with a bow-and-arrow submission.

Vaquer headed to the top rope, but Rodriguez distracted the referee, allowing Perez to shove Vaquer to the floor. Perez then rammed Vaquer into the barricade and ring post before the show went to commercial.

After the break, Perez tripped Vaquer and followed with a cartwheel into a knee drop for a near fall. Perez transitioned into an abdominal stretch on the mat, while Liv Morgan taunted Vaquer from ringside. Vaquer fought her way free and reversed the hold, applying an abdominal stretch of her own.

Vaquer began to build momentum with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and a back suplex. The crowd finally came alive when Vaquer hit Perez with the Devil’s Kiss. Vaquer then charged into a boot, which barely slowed her down, before pulling Perez out of the corner with a dragon screw leg whip.

Perez regained the advantage by raking Vaquer’s eyes and connecting with a Shining Wizard for a near fall. She followed with a crossface, but Vaquer escaped and drilled Perez with a package backbreaker.

Vaquer climbed the ropes again, only for Rodriguez to distract the referee while Morgan yanked Vaquer off the top rope. Becky Lynch then hit the ring and went after Morgan. With the chaos unfolding at ringside, Vaquer caught Rodriguez with a superkick and returned to the ring.

Perez hit a moonsault for another near fall, but Vaquer answered with a double-underhook facebuster and scored the pinfall.

Your winner, Stephanie Vaquer!

Lynch kept Liv Morgan from attacking Vaquer after the bell and threw her over the barricade.  She tod Vaquer that's another she owes her.

They aired highlights of the recent issues between Big Cass and Je'Von Evans.

Rey Mysterio wished Rey Fenix good luck.  Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh showed up and complained Dom wasn't in the tournament.  Rey said he wasn't a luchador.  JD threatened Rey but Je'Von Evans hit the scene and laid them out.

AAA Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix vs. Dragon Lee

 

Lee escaped a step-up rana with a handstand before tripping up Fenix in the corner and following with a dropkick for a near fall. Fenix answered with a superkick, ran across the top rope for a punt, and hit a top-rope crossbody for another near fall. On the floor, Fenix blasted Lee with a running kick to the head before following with a middle-rope moonsault.

Back in the ring, Lee dumped Fenix with a German suplex that sent him to the floor. Lee followed with a tope con hilo.

After the break, Lee and Fenix traded chops and strikes in the middle of the ring. Lee rocked Fenix with a sit-out powerbomb for a near fall, but Fenix answered a charging Lee with a superkick. Fenix then hit a top-rope moonsault press for a near fall before following with a powerbomb for another two-count.

Fenix caught Lee with a palm strike as Lee climbed the ropes. Fenix attempted a top-rope hurricanrana, but Lee countered, leaving Fenix tangled in the ropes. Lee capitalized with a double stomp for a near fall. Fenix countered a suplex into a small package for two, then sent Lee to the floor with a superkick.

Lee followed Fenix outside, where Fenix sent him crashing into the announcer’s table. Lee turned the tables by dropping Fenix onto the table before hitting a cannonball through the ropes, driving Fenix through the table.

Back inside, Lee connected with a tornado DDT for a near fall. He went for Operation Dragon, but Fenix countered with a brainbuster. Fenix attempted a muscle buster, only for Lee to counter with a Styles Clash for another near fall. Fenix answered with a rolling cutter for two.

Fenix then hit Lee with an enziguri and a superkick before pulling him out of the corner with a Mexican Muscle Buster to score the pinfall.

Your winner, advancing to the finals of the tournament, Rey Fenix!

They ran a vignette for Lola Vice and listed her debut for 9/14.  So, unless something changes, she's going to Raw.

Next was the Bron Breakker vs. Oba Femi contract signing.  Adam Pearce and Paul Heyman were in the ring with them.

Bron Breakker grabbed the house mic and asked Oba Femi what he had actually accomplished. Beat Brock Lesnar? Win King of the Ring? Eight months ago, Bron claimed, WWE was in the palm of his hand before an injury took him out of action. While he was gone, Oba Femi “weaseled his way” into all of Bron’s opportunities.

Femi fired back by calling Breakker an “angry orange man.” Femi said that if Bron had arrived in 2002 and had to compete against John Cena, Bron would have been the man. If he had arrived in 2015 and gone up against “whoever the Big Dog was then,” he would have been the man. But it’s 2026, and Bron has to run with Oba Femi. That means Bron has no chance of being the man around here.

Bron laughed off the crowd chanting for Femi and Oba’s belief that he could compete with him. Breakker promised to take Femi into “deep waters” and prove that he couldn’t hang with him. Bron vowed to be the one guy Femi could never beat.

Breakker signed the contract and walked it over to Femi. Instead of handing it to him, however, Bron passed it to Paul Heyman and asked if Oba’s “daddy” should sign it. He complained Heyman has been acting like he reps Oba, but Breakker then blindsided Femi, sparking a brawl.

Austin Theory ran in, but Femi handled him easily because, as far as Femi was concerned, Theory was a geek. Breakker caught Femi with a clothesline, and Theory tried to hold Femi in place for a spear. Again, Theory proved unable to contain him. Femi broke free, sent Breakker to the floor with a clothesline, and put Theory through a table.

Femi grabbed the contract, signed it, and tossed it back to Breakker. Femi then told Bron that he was the one running away from him.

Backstage, Jacob Fatu and The Usos argued about Fatu standing around while everyone got beaten up the previous week. Of course, that was exactly what Roman Reigns had told him to do. Jey then showed off Fatu’s new Ula Fala and laid out the plan: Fatu was supposed to stay in the back and stand out of the way.   

Big Cass vs. Je'Von Evans

Evans took Cass to the floor and dove onto him, only for Cass to catch him in midair. Evans slipped free and shoved Cass into the apron.  Back in the ring, Cass clotheslined Evans over the top rope and sent him crashing to the floor. Moments later, Cass dropped Evans with a sidewalk slam for a near fall.  Evans dumped Cass into the timekeeper’s area, then got a running start and dove onto him. “I’m about to whoop your ass,” Evans said before unloading with a series of punches and kicks that forced Cass to cover up. “Get your ass up,” Evans told him before rolling Cass back into the ring.

Evans followed with a kick and then connected with a springboard clothesline. He went to the top rope for his OG Cutter, but Cass shoved him off the ropes. Evans immediately grabbed at his hamstring.  Cass seized the opening and drilled Evans with a big boot before covering him for the pinfall. Cass was bleeding from the lip after.

Dom and JD attacked Evans and destroyed him.

Jackie Redmond interviewed Sol Ruca about her upcoming challenge against Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Ruca said she was excited for the opportunity.   IYO SKY wished Ruca good luck, telling her that she deserved the title shot. Ruca thanked Sky and said the match wouldn’t be happening if it weren’t for her.  Lya Valkyria then entered the picture, looking unkempt and without makeup. Valkyria was friendly at first before asking Ruca to give her the title opportunity instead. Ruca saw through the request and told Valkyria that if she wanted a title shot, she needed to earn it.  “Bayley used to talk to me like that,” Valkyria said before walking away.  IYO said Lyra scares her.

Penta vs. La Parka

La Parka hit a nice rana before running into a superkick. Penta followed with a tope con hilo that took out Parka and appeared to catch the camera as well. Parka recovered and hit a moonsault from the middle rope to the floor.  Back in the ring, Parka dove into another superkick for a near fall. Parka answered with a series of forearms, only to run into yet another superkick. Penta then rolled Parka out of the corner with a backstabber for a near fall.n  After the commercial break, La Parka hit a crossbody from the top rope. Parka answered with a powerslam for a near fall before connecting with a dropkick out of a handstand in the corner for another two count.  La Parka drilled Penta with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Penta responded with the Penta Driver, but Parka kicked out. Penta climbed to the top rope, only for La Parka to cut him off and yank him to the mat with a top-rope Spanish Fly for another near fall.  La Parka went for his finisher, but Penta slipped free and snapped Parka’s arm back. Penta followed with a Mexican Destroyer off the ropes to score the pinfall.

The Lucha Brothers explode next week in the tournament final.

Solo Sikoa offered gratitude to LA Knight for stepping in to save him last week. Knight made it clear that Solo didn't owe him a thing, except a guarantee that he wouldn't make Knight regret sticking his neck out.

Michael Cole highlighted Zilla Fatu as WWE's next potential breakout star, revealing he is set to main-event NXT Heatwave this Sunday. The announcement was paired with a promotional video package showcasing Fatu's trajectory.

 Backstage, Adam Pearce commended Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable for his high-caliber match against Rey Mysterio. Gable agreed, declaring that proving his dominance against legends defines both his title reign and overall legacy. However, as Gable spoke, Pearce visibly tuned out to focus on organizing the champion's next challenger.  Ethan Page interrupted to sarcastically applaud Gable's victory, accusing him of handing out title shots to "washed-up champions" just to avoid facing fresh competition. Gable quickly fired back, reminding Page that he already had his shot, and tapped out. Gable added that while Page was originally near the top of the contender list, he had just talked himself right off it.

In two weeks, Stephanie Vaquer will challenge Liv Morgan.  She promised to take back the title and said she didn't need Becky Lynch's help.

The Usos vs. LA Knight and Solo Sikoa

LA Knight took control early, flattening Jimmy Uso with a clothesline before tagging in Solo Sikoa for a diving headbutt. Sikoa and Knight aggressively isolated Jimmy, taking turns stomping him in the corner before Sikoa crushed him with a heavy hip attack for a near fall. The Usos eventually turned the tide when Jimmy caught Sikoa with a blind kick, allowing Jey to drive Sikoa to the floor with a superkick. Operating as a unit on the outside, The Usos laid out Sikoa with a synchronized double superkick.

Sikoa endured a sustained beating from his brothers through the split-screen commercial break. Back from the break, Jey rocked Sikoa with an enzuigiri and choked him against the ropes, setting up Jimmy for a hidden Drive By behind the referee's back. Sikoa finally found an opening by backdropping Jimmy to the floor. Despite Jey attempting to cut off the ring, Sikoa leveled him with a clothesline and made the hot tag to Knight.

Knight entered the ring on fire, peppering Jimmy with left jabs and hitting a hangman’s neckbreaker. Jey broke up the momentum with a surprise roll-up for two, but Knight quickly responded by countering a Samoan Drop into an inverted DDT for another close count. Knight then scaled the turnbuckle and landed a high-flying elbow drop for a near fall. Outside the ring, Jey tried to dive onto Sikoa, who initially cut him off before being rocked by a Jey superkick.

Royce Keys sprinted to ringside, steamrolling both Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa with a massive spear. Simultaneously, two masked attackers dressed in black invaded the ring to jump Knight and Jimmy. Michael Cole explained they were WWE NXT stars OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price), algined with Royce Keys. OTM flattened Knight with a double Angle Slam variation before feeding Jimmy directly into a spinebuster from Keys, forcing a chaotic non-finish.

The assault only intensified after the bell. Keys and OTM took the action to the floor, battering Sikoa and Jey with the heavy steel steps. When Knight tried to pull himself up on the apron, Keys cracked him in the head with the steps as well. To cap off the absolute destruction, OTM elevated Jimmy Uso and powerbombed him through the ringside commentary table while Keys forcibly held Jey back, making him watch his brother get destroyed.

They went off the air with Keys and OTM standing tall.
