Boca Raton Championship Wrestling issued the following:
Three championships change hands as Matt Riddle wins the vacant BRCW Heavyweight Championship, Lacey Lane takes the Women’s Championship and Chris Farrow captures the Cha Cha Championship in a ladder match
BOCA RATON, Fla. Boca Raton Championship Wrestling held Summer Smash on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at The Studio at Mizner Park in Boca Raton, Florida. Full results are below.
• Six-Man Tag Team Match: Gangrel & The Righteous (Dutch & Vincent) def. The Kings Court, who made their BRCW debut
• BRCW Cha Cha Championship, Ladder Match: Chris Farrow def. Cha Cha Charlie (c), Sean Maluta, Lakay and Steve Person to become the new BRCW Cha Cha Champion
• BRCW Cruiserweight Championship: Jonny Fairplay (c) def. Rey Fury to retain
• Tag Team Match: Bull James & Oddyssey def. Big Tito Lincoln & A.J. Francis (w/ Lloyd Anoa’i)
• BRCW Women’s Championship: Lacey Lane def. Shayna Baszler (c) to become the new BRCW Women’s Champion
• BRCW Tag Team Championship: Sons of Boca (Cezar Bononi & Noah Kekoa, w/ Neil the Heel) (c) def. Ben Bishop & Kerry Morton to retain
• BRCW Heavyweight Championship, Fatal Four-Way for the vacant title: Matt Riddle def. “Main Event Monster” Fulton, Matt Taven and Stallion Rogers to become the new BRCW Heavyweight Champion
Riddle claimed the BRCW Heavyweight Championshi
p in his first reign, the title having been vacant since August 5. Farrow won the BRCW Cha Cha Championship for the first time. Lane and Baszler previously met at BRCW November Knockdown on November 2, 2025, where Baszler won.
Harley Cameron, announced as the challenger for the BRCW Women’s Championship, did not appear and instead sent a video message. Bull James competed alongside Oddyssey after his original partner, Fulton, entered the Fatal Four-Way.
