Nick mentions the injury that Chelsea Green suffered last week and he has reached a decision. He asks Chelsea to come to the ring.
Nick says he knows how hard Chelsea has worked and how much that moment meant mean for you. Nick says he cannot let her wrestle with a broken eye socket. Nick hates this part of his job Nick asks Chelsea to relinquish the title.
Green says she knew it was too good to be true and she was waiting for the other shoe to drop. Anytime something good happens to her, something devastating happens. She is comic relief. Sh is the opponent for all of the girls. She tells Nick he knows what she has sacrificed and done. She has had the world laugh at her. When she got to bed, he said it was worth it because she knew this moment would come. She says she made it. You should understand this, especially after SummerSlam
We proved it doesn't matter what people think abut them, it is what they think about each other. You were a champion and your wife was a champion. Until someone takes his off me, it is hers. She says she thought Nick would understand that as she gives him the title belt.
Nick stops Chelsea and he says as GM, he think he is doing the right thing. A a man, he doesn't care what medical says.
Green goes back to the ring, and Nick gives her 30 days to get cleared.
Gunther's music plays and he comes to the ring.
Gunther says another sob story no one wants to hear about. Let's talk about important things. Gunther says he knows Nik is on a short leash and he wants to know why Nick did what he did to him at SummerSlam.
Gunther says you climbed a ladder and then you collided into a door frame and cried about it. Gunther says he competed twice. He made a man tap in front of his family. Why did you add Kevin to his match.
He says he didn't add Kevin to Gunther's match, it was Gunther who got added to the match.
Chelsea tells Gunther to stroke his ego because that is all he has. There is only one champion in the ring and it is her.
Matt Cardona comes out and gets in Gunther's face.
Gunther says all the way from catering to the rescue. What are you going to do? I can call you girl every slur and there is nothing you could do to himm..
Matt punches Gunther and h gos to the floor.
Match Number One: Matt Cardonna versus Gunther
The natch is joined in progress and Gunther works over Matt. Matt punches back. They go to the floor and Gunther power bombs Matt into the ringside barrier, the announced table, and apron. Matt beats the count and Gunther with a short arm clothesline. Gunther with a Saito suplex. Gunther says something to Green and Matt with a lower blow and Rough Ryder for a newr fall. Gunther with a power bomb and Boston Crab to get Matt to tap out.
Winner: Gunther
After the match, Lash Legend and Nia Jax come out. Nia says Green is pathetic or getting hurt. Why waste time if you want a fighting champion. Nia says she wants the title.She says if Green doesn't give her what she wants, she has a history of breaking faces.
Tiffany Stratton comes out and Lash catches Tiffany and Lash with a bear hug and Nia with a splash. Lash with a forearm.
We take a look at the debut of Tatum Paxley on the main roster.
Charlotte tells Alexa she misses her. She thanks Alexa for what she did and Alexa says it was Tatum. Alexa says Tatum reminds herself about Tatum. You will like her surprise.
We see her new locker room and Charlotte is a little freaked out.
We go to commercial.
We take a look at Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes with a video package.
Cody says they need to settle this before it gets out of hand.
Nick suggests Satruday Night's Main Vain Event.
Cody doesn't care.
Sami is there and he says that Cody wants a match against Randy and then Sami talks about his number one contender match.
Cody says he used to allow Sami to do this, but he thought he owed him. He doesn't owe anyone. If you want to do it, let's do it.
Sami says he pinned Cody clean.
Cody says Sami said when. He wants a match tonight.
Nick asks Sami if there is something in it for him? If he beats Cody, he gets the winner of Punk and Owens.
Match Number Two: Carmelo Hayes versus Baron Corbin for the United States Championship
Hayes with a flip dive onto Baron and then they get into the ring. Hayes avoids a splash and he chops and punches Corbin. Hayes with en enzuigiri and a springboard clothesline for a near fall. Hayes is sent to the apron and Hayes with a punch an he goes up top. Corbin catches Hayes and Hayes gets free. Corbin goes over the top rope when Hayes moves. Hayes wiht a springboard leg drop. Baron blocks First 48 and hits a power bomb and sets Hayes to the floor and into the ringside barrier. Corbin sends Hayes into the ring post and over the ringside barrier into the time keeper's area. Corbin picks up Hayes and Hayes with chops. Corbin with a knee and he sends Hayes into the ring steps.
Corbin with a punch in the corner. Hayes with punches and Corbin with an elbow for a near fall. Corbin with an elbow to the back of the neck followed by punches. Corbin with a forearm to the back. Hayes with forearms and Corbin blocks an Irisih whip and he Irish whips Hayes and hits a clothesline. Hayes escapes a power slam and then Corbin misses a splash. Hayes with a kick and a springboard DDT for a near fall. Hayes with a frog splash for a near fall. Corbin blocks First 48 and Corbin with a boot. Hayes counters a power bomb into a sunset flip for a near fall. Corbin with Deep Six for a near fall. Hayes escapes End of Days and hits First 48 and a second one. Hayes goes up top and Corbin sends Hayes to the floor. Corbin with End of Days for the three count.
Winner: Baron Corbin (retains championship)
After the match, Trick Williams comes out and . . . Lil Yacthy hits Corbin with a kendo stick. Corbin blocks a second attempt. Trick with a jumping knee to Corbin.
Tiffany is in LCCKER ROOM and Chelsea thanks Tiffany for helping her.
Tiffany says she is okay to wrestle tonight.
Kevin Owens makes his way to the ring.
Kevin stands in the ring and CM Punk's music plays.
Punk says Kevin is a lot of things and he is not a coward. What you were going to say was about him, so say it to his face.
Kevin says it i s ironic saying things to your face. We were a foot away, but you were up the aisle to call him a fat slob.
Punk asks if he thought he wouldn't say it to his face.
Kevin says their story started 20 years go.
They wrestled for the same independent promotion and Phil was the title guy and he was trying to make a name for himself. You chose to berate and insult him in a locker room full of his peers.Kevin says it is not all that. It is who you have been and what you said. The way you treated friends.
Punk asks him to be specific.
Kevin says it is more than three. It is everyone.
Punk calls them losers.
He sees people who look up to you because you came back and made amends. Kevin is the one who doesn't like him and he will never like him. You are a phony. You came back because you had no choice. You screwed things up everywhere else. He doesn't respect people like you.
Kevin says he has done well for himself. He main evented everywhere. He main evented Wrestlemania against Steve Austin.
Punk says he was happy for him. Do you think you would have gotten that if he was here.
Kevin tells Punk to say it to him.
Punk says he is here as the Undisputed Champion and there is a locker room full of people. He called out Oba Femi and he got endomitriosis instead. It would be a mistake to take you lightly. He says he sees wasted potential. He sees a tough buy who i s a bum. Punk says he has evolved and adapted. If you did some of the work instead of avoiding it you would have avoided that Bill Goldberg spear.
Kevin says he sees someone who main evented Wrestlemania. He says Punk hates who he sees in the mirror. Kevin says he is the same person at 20 years ago and he is facing you for teh title. You couldn't avoid that Roman spear.
Punk says he sees someone who is stubborn and loud and always things he is right.
Kevin asks if Punk is angry that he never sought his advice. Kevin says he regrets not punching Punk in the locker room.
Punk tells him to do it.
Kevin says he didn't do it before because Punk would have ruined his career. Next week, he gets to beat Punk's bitch ass.
Punk says Kevin will be looking up to him after he puts Kevin to sleep.
Finn says he understands why Nick added KO and Gunther and he asks for some advance notice.
Gunther inteerupts and he wants to sort out the SummerSlam issue.
Nick says that Gunther is interrupting his conversation with Finn Balor.
Finn calls Gunther a condescending prick and he says that he was going to tell Nick he would do whatever it takes to get a title match.
Match Number Three: Damian Priest and R Truth versus Erik and Ivar versus Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga for the Smackdown Tag Team Champiionships
Everyone gets in the ring and the challengers go after the champions. Erik and Ivar go after Talla and Tama. Truth and Priest watch the others fight on the floor and Priest goes up top with a cross body. We go to commercial.
We are back and Talla is sent to the floor. Priest tags in and he goes after Erik and hits a knee. Priest with an elbow to Ivar. Piest with elbows in the corner and a thrust kick to Erik and a leaping flatliner to Ivar. Priest and Truth get Ivar up and Talla comes under for a double choke slam. Ivar with a cannonball to Talla. Ivar with an assisted pop up power slam for a near fall. Talla blocks a double choke slam and he kicks everyone. Talla with a power slam to Truth. Priest and Ivar with kick and forearms followed by a double suplex. Truth with an STF on Talla. Erik iwt a kick. Erik with a knee to Truth's back. Priest stops Ivar n the turnbuckles. Priest with cyclone kicks to Erik and then he is given a pop up power slam through the ringside barrier. Truth with the moves of doom.
Truth gets Tama up but Tama rakes the eyes and he sends Truth into Erik. Tama and Talla with an assisted power bomb for the three count.
Winners: Talla Tonga and Tama Tonga (new champions)
Match Number Four: Tiffany Stratton versus Jacy Jayne for the United States Championship
Jacy runs Tiffany into the corner and connects with shoulder. Jacy with an elbow intot he corner and a back senton. Jacy with a body scissors. Jacy sends Tiffany to the mat and Jacy misses a back senton. Tiffany sends Jacy into the ropes and hits a running hip and drop kick for a near fall.
Tiffany goes for a Prettiest Moonsault Ever but Jacy gets her knees up. Tiffany with a running knee and Green pulls Fallon off the apron. Tiffany with a cross body onto Fallon and Reid. Jacy with a rolling encore for the three count.
Winner: Jacy Jayne (new champion)
Cathy is with Jade, B-Fab, and MIchin and she asks about Alexa and Tatum
Jade says they can't handle their own business. Line them all up and knock them down.
Fab says she is looking for the proper welcome to Samckdown.
Match Number Five: Cody Rhodes versus Sami Zayn
Randy Orton attacks Cody as Sami makes his way to the ring. Randy sends Cody into the ring post and hits the IEDDT. Randy sets for the RKO and Cody bocks it but randy rakes the eyes and sends him to the floor. Cody is sent into the ring steps and Randy hits Cody with the steps. Cody punches Randy and they fight through the crowd. Cody hits Randy with a trash can. Cody sends Randy into the bleacher. Randy with a punch and European uppercut. Randy with a kick and they go back into the ringside area. Randy sends Cody into a member of the security staff. Randy sedns Cody into the announce table and he punches Cody. Randy puts Cody in the gap between the steps and he gets a chair. Cody kicks Randy low and Cody hites Randy wiht the chair. Xody stands over Randy and officials take the chair from Cody.
