After watching Grand Slam Mexico I was wondering whose idea it was for Will Osprey to get his ass kicked in a bloody street fight right before All In?
Tony Khan is the booking so the buck stops with him.
Shouldn't he go into it destroying guys not getting killed?
That is how I would book him, but I am not Khan.
Secondly why would you put him in a violent match and risk injury to your main event?
I have nothing. I wouldn’t do that, especially given his recent injury history.
Thirdly who thinks it good to let is pretty get dropped on his neck through chairs after just coming back from a neck injury ?
Tony Khan, for sure. But also Ospreay because he agreed to do it.
I understand why they wanted these guys on the main roster, but am I the only one who thinks NXT losing Oba, Trick, Je'Von, Ricky, Ethan, and Sol Ruca all to the main roster in a fairly short time frame has hurt their enjoyment of the show? There's plenty of great talents there I think have potential like Saquon, Dion Lennox, Jackson Drake, Lola, Kendal Grey, etc, but to me it's like an AEW fan trying to enjoy the show if MJF, Ospreay, Omega, Hangman, Swerve and Darby were all to leave the company within a 6 month period! Do you think WWE made a mistake not making these moves more gradually?
I get what you are saying but I don’t buy the AEW comparison. I have said a few times that NXT has been gutted lately and stars have been taken away. But, that is what NXT’s purpose is, to create main roster talents so it will happen. I appreciate the job Shawn Michaels and his team have done in not only grooming and preparing the talent, but also constantly reloading the brand.
Why does Triple H only want to hear praise for WWE creative when it’s good but can’t take the criticism when it’s bad? Doesn’t he realize that people have legitimate criticism about how subpar the storylines he’s in charge of?
I am sure that he realizes it. He’s not an idiot. But, I do think he is really thin-skinned and it shows when he acts out at people that have legitimate criticisms about his booking. It also makes him appear soft to me since he only says these things when people aren’t praising him.
