GCW vs. F1rst Wrestling is coming from First Avenue in Minneapolis.
The commentary team is Emil J. and Mose.
The crowd is VERY biased toward F1rst Wrestling and even boos when GCW is mentioned and chants F1rst instead.
Marcus Mathers (GCW) vs. Devon Monroe (F1rst)
They lock up, and Mathers gets a headlock takeover, and Monroe does the same, and they both pop up quickly. They lock up again, and Mathers gets a shoulder tackle for one. Monroe tries for a rollup, and Mathers blocks it. They run the ropes, and Monroe gets a dropkick and follows with an arm drag. Monroe gets a twisting arm drag. Monroe gets attacked in the corners. They fight to the apron, and Mathers gets a leaping PK. Mathers gets a crossbody off the top, but does not follow up.
Mathers chops Monroe down. Mathers puts on a GCW shirt to rev up the crowd. Monroe gets a series of blows, but Mathers gets a clothesline. He then gets a series of right hands. Monroe leaps over Mathers for a sunset flip for two. Monroe hits a knee strike. Monroe charges into Mathers three times in the corner and gets a crossbody, but Mathers catches Monroe, slams him, and hits an elbow drop for two.
They fight in the corner, and Monroe hits a series of elbows to drop Mathers. Monroe gets a spin kick from the top and then a flying crossbody for two. Monroe gets a series of forearms, but Mathers gets a cutter, followed by a Blue Thunder Bomb for two. Monroe gets a jackknife pin for two. Mathers gets a series of forearm shots, and he pops Monroe up, and Monroe comes down with a double knee drop.
Mathers gets a series of hits and kicks, and then Monroe does the same, but Mathers gets a leaping kick to the back of Monroe’s head. Mathers gets a driver on Monroe for two. Mathers is frustrated that Monroe keeps popping up. Monroe gets a swinging neckbreaker. Mathers gets an enzuigiri, and Monroe answers with a swinging DDT followed by a springboard facebuster for the pin and the win.
Winner: Devon Monroe
1 Called Manders (GCW) vs. Brandon Gore (F1rst)
They do a bit where Gore trades his tinfoil hat for Manders’ cowboy hat. They then put both hats on the ref. They give hats back, and Manders slaps Gore and tosses his hat. Gore tosses Manders’ hat. They then charge into each other, throwing hands. They run the ropes, and Gore gets a Thesz press. Gore goes to the top, and Manders hits the ropes to knock Gore off the top. Manders gets strikes in the corners. Gore reverses and tries to do the same, but Manders cuts him off with an eye poke.
Manders grabs the tinfoil hat and puts it on, and Gore gets a series of body blows. Manders gets a clothesline to stop Gore. Manders misses an elbow drop, and Gore blocks Manders’s blocks and fires back, then clotheslines him down repeatedly and hits a spinebuster. They fight in the corner, and Gore gets a German suplex and then a leaping leg lariat for two. Gore leaps over Manders, and Manders picks up Gore, slams him into the turnbuckle, and then hits a stampede slam for two.
They fire chops at each other, and move to forearms, and Manders is beaten to his knees. Manders gets a lariat on his knees. Gore gets a spear and covers for two. They fight on their knees, and Gore hits a flurry as they get to their feet and beats Manders into the corner. Gore puts Manders on top and joins him there. Manders bites Gore, and Gore hits a dropkick and rejoins Manders on top. Gore gets a belly-to-belly suplex from the second rope.
Gore puts the tinfoil on and goes to the top. He hits a headbutt from the top for two. Manders hits a powerful clothesline for two. Gore gets an O’Connor roll into a suplex into the bottom turnbuckle for two. Gore hoists Manders, but Manders escapes out the back and hits a clothesline for the pin and the win.
Winner: 1 Called Manders
Manders grabs a mic and says Gore is a tough MFer.
Allie Katch (F1rst Grand Champion) vs. Shotzi Blackheart (GCW)
Before the match starts, Shotzi goes to the back, gets a picture of Lio Rush, and tapes it to a top turnbuckle. They lock up, and Shotzi gets a side headlock takeover. They return to their feet, and Katch gets a side headlock. Shotzi fights free, and they run the ropes. Katch gets a senton. Katch whips Shotzi into the corner where Rush’s picture is up, and Shotzi stops short. Katch goes for the picture, and Shotzi grabs her. Katch slams Shotzi and asks her what is going on. Shotzi gets an arm drag and a tiger feint kick. Shotzi gets a crossbody from the top for two. Shotzi shoves Katch into the middle turnbuckle under Rush’s picture. Shotzi grabs a butterfly stretch on Katch into a stomp.
Shotzi whips Katch to the corner, and Katch is able to pop up for a senton and then a cannonball for two. Katch tries for a piledriver, but Shotzi escapes and slams Katch into the corner for two. Shotzi goes to the top, and Katch hits the ropes and gets a bulldog off the top for two. Shotzi pulls the picture down and shows it to Katch, who grabs it and rips it in half. Shotzi starts crying on the mat.
As she talks to the crowd, Lio Rush shows up with an umbrella hat. Rush taps Katch on the shoulder and freaks her out. Rush gets into the ring with his blacked-out belt. He pulls Katch out of the way and embraces Shotzi. Katch kicks them, and they slowly turn toward her. They run around the ring, and Shotzi gets a rollup for one. Rush helps Shotzi with a Sliced Bread for two.
Shotzi and Rush talk in the corner, and Katch grabs Rush’s belt. She tosses the belt out of the ring, and Rush follows. Katch gets a Heatseeker on Shotzi for the pin and the win.

Bustah and The Brain (Alec Price & Jordan Oliver) (GCW Tag Team Champions) vs. None More Violent (CHO & JINN) (F1rst Wrestling)
Price and Oliver call for handshakes, but Cho and Jinn flip them off instead. Cho and Oliver start the match by locking up, and Oliver shoves Cho back. They lock up again and run the ropes. Cho tries a shoulder tackle, but Oliver doesn’t drop. They do it again, and Cho is knocked down. Cho pulls Oliver into the corner, and Jinn tags in and Price gets a blind tag. Price and Oliver double-team Jinn, and Cho joins the fight. Jinn gets a Northern Lights suplex for two.
Cho and Jinn get a double-team kick on Oliver. They work over Oliver by cutting the ring in half. Oliver is able to dodge an elbow drop from the top and crawls to get the hot tag, but gets cut off. He has to fight off both Cho and Jinn to get the tag to Price, who cleans house.
Oliver gets a frontbuster on Cho and Price follows with a frog splash for two. Cho gets a rollup for one, but Price responds with a leaping knee. Price gets a lariat, but Jinn covers with feet on the rope for two. Jinn lifts Price, and Cho kicks him for two, broken up by Oliver. Jinn and Cho beat down Price. Oliver and Price are both tossed to the floor. Price and Oliver return to the ring and take out Jinn with dropkicks.
They nail Jinn with the double Styles Clash for the pin and the win.
Winners and still GCW Tag Team Champions: Bustah and the Brain
Joey Janela (GCW) vs. Ryan Cruz (F1rst)
They lock up and go to the ropes and then to the corner. Janela gets a rollup for one and then comes up with an armbar. Cruz reverses it. Janela reverses it and forces Cruz down. Janela gets a body lock, and Cruz powers out. They lock up again, and Cruz gets a big kick and then a shoulder thrust in the corner. Janela gets a quick flurry of takedown attempts for a two-count. Janela works over Cruz in the corner, and when he goes to the top, Cruz yanks the leg and covers for two.
Cruz slams Janela’s head into the corner and hits a chop. Janela fires back, and they go back and forth, and Cruz ends it with an eye poke. Cruz chokes Janela in the ropes. Cruz gets a backbreaker and covers for two. Janela gets a series of right hands, but runs into a spinning heel kick, and Cruz covers for two. Cruz hits a double axe handle. Cruz grabs a rear chinlock, and then turns it into a full body lock. Janela’s arm drops twice, and his arm stops the third time, and he powers to his feet.
Janela and Cruz trade strikes, and Cruz slams Janela into the turnbuckles. Janela gets a series of uppercuts until Cruz drops. They run the ropes, and Janela gets a clothesline and then a neckbreaker. Janela gets a suplex but doesn’t follow up quickly. Janela goes to the top and gets thrown off. Cruz gets a Blue Thunder Bomb for two. Cruz goes to the top, and Janela gets a series of blows before joining him. Janela gets a superplex, and both men are down.
They get to their feet and throw hands in the middle of the ring. Janela takes over, but Cruz is able to reverse after Janela’s series of blows and gets a Finlay roll. Cruz misses the moonsault off the second rope. Janela gets a swinging DDT followed by a Falcon Arrow for two. Janela goes to the top and misses the double stomp. Cruz gets a Finlay roll and a moonsault for two.
Cruz gets a spin kick and tries to follow up, but Janela gets a series of back elbows. Cruz hits a sidewalk slam for two. Janela gets a superkick and a running clothesline. Janela follows with a full nelson suplex and then a second with a bridge for two. Janela goes to the top and misses a moonsault when Cruz rolls inward.
Cruz goes to the top and hits a frog splash for two. Janela gets a Michinoku Driver for two. Janela goes to the top, and Cruz is able to hit the ropes. Cruz goes to the top and gets a superplex on Janela, but Janela turns it into a small package for two. Janela gets a big chop, and Cruz gets a pair of spinning heel kicks for the pin and the win.
Winner: Ryan Cruz
Team GCW (Terry Yaki, Anikin Murphy, Jimmy Lloyd, and CPA) vs. Team F1rst (Jordan, Mr. Williams, Shane Black, and Badger Briggs)
All eight face off, and Yaki and Jordan start the match. They start with armbars, and Yaki sweeps the legs for one. They lock up again, and Jordan bites Yaki. Jordan chops Yaki and then gets a running Death Valley Driver into the buckle.
Yaki tags in CPA, and Williams also tags in. The two guys in dress shirts and ties face off. CPA calls for a handshake. Williams shakes his hand and CPA kicks and pulls Williams’ tie, but it’s a clip-on. CPA’s tie is a clip-on as well, and he puts on a second one and pokes Williams in the eye before tripping him. CPA takes off the shirt for another shirt underneath. Williams gets a big boot. Williams pulls out another tie as well.
Black tags in and CPA trips over Williams. CPA gets a sunset flip and pulls down Black’s trunks because he has a swimsuit underneath. Murphy is tagged in. Murphy takes Black's lifesaver whistle. Black nails Murphy with his buoy and tags in Briggs. Lloyd also tags in, and they throw hands until Lloyd gets a neckbreaker. Briggs gets a snapmare and follows with a senton for two.
Briggs gets a suplex for two and then holds him for Black to spray sunscreen, but Lloyd ducks and Briggs gets sprayed. Team GCW gets in and works over Briggs. Yaki tags in and they work over Briggs with quick tags. Briggs is finally able to fight her way free and knocks most of Team GCW to the floor, and tags in Jordan, who runs wild on Yaki, the only member of GCW able to fight.
We then set up with everyone getting into the ring for a massive Russian leg sweep. F1rst members are able to put GCW members on their shoulders and Black gets a double blockbuster for two on Yaki. Briggs dives onto Team GCW. Williams then dives onto Team GCW as well. Murphy dives onto everyone, and Black gets a cannonball dive onto everyone. Yaki gets a moonsault onto everyone.
In the ring, Yaki gets a spinning DDT on Jordan. Now everyone takes out the last person in the ring. We end with Murphy and Jordan. Murphy goes to the top where Jordan is, and Jordan gets a Death Valley Driver from the middle rope to everyone on the floor. Jordan and Yaki return to the ring, and Yaki gets a flipping DDT from the top for the pin and the win.
Winners: Team GCW
A fun comedy match, and the score is tied between the two companies.
Atticus Cogar (GCW World Champion) vs. Arik Cannon (F1rst)
Arik is the owner of F1rst Wrestling and is beloved in the region.
Cogar flips off Cannon, and they circle each other before locking up. They move to headlocks and armbars. Cannon gets a takedown and a rollup for two. They run the ropes, and Cogar gets a headlock. They each try their finishing moves and are blocked. Cogar pulls out his skewers, and Cannon pulls out his own. Cannon stops Cogar's charge and then goes for his own skewers. Otis Cogar hits the ring and attacks Cannon.
Atticus pulls a chair out from under the ring, and Otis holds Cannon for Atticus. Vipress comes to the ring and takes out Otis and then hits a Code Red on Atticus. Cannon slams Vipress on Atticus. Vipress gets a Shining Wizard on Atticus, and she then dives onto Atticus on the floor.
We are told it is now a tag team match.
Atticus and Otis Cogar vs. Arik Cannon and Vipress
Chairs are slid into the ring, and the Cogars drag Vipress to the stage. Cannon joins them. Vipress and Atticus fight in the ring, and Otis and Cannon fight on the stage. Atticus hits Vipress with a pair of half nelson suplexes. Cannon slams Otis on the stage and stalks to the ring. Cannon and Atticus throw hands in the middle of the ring. Otis charges into Cannon from behind.
Otis bites Cannon and then gouges the eyes. Atticus and Otis double-team Cannon. Vipress recovers and comes off the top with a crossbody on the Cogars. Vipress gets a door from under the ring. Atticus tries to stab Vipress with skewers, and Vipress avoids it. Vipress gets a belly-to-back suplex on Atticus. Otis nails Vipress, and Cannon gets a swinging neckbreaker.
Atticus tosses a chair at Cannon and then kicks the seat of the chair that Cannon was leaning on. Vipress gets a Destroyer on Atticus. Otis gets a scoop slam on Vipress for two. Cannon gets a hanging neckbreaker. Otis grabs Cannon off the top and slams him. Vipress leaps off the top and gets a hurricanrana on Otis and trips him as he charges, and Otis goes through the door in the corner, and she nails Otis with a chair.
Vipress goes to the top, and when Atticus tries to attack, she grabs the skewers from him and jams them in his head. She then gets a frog splash off the top onto Otis for the pin and the win.
Winners: Arik Cannon and Vipress
And winning by 4 to 3, F1rst Wrestling.
After the match, Cannon says the people who won today are the people at First Avenue.
That’s it for a big showcase weekend for F1rst Wrestling, and this final show of the weekend was a blast. You had a little of everything, both in this show and from F1rst all weekend. I really wish they had a streaming deal in place, as they are just as good (and in many ways better) than a lot of more popular and well-known indie companies. F1rst is always worth the time and the money, and there is a reason they sell out many of their shows.
