1. That Danhausen segment was painful, I couldn’t wait for it to end. I like the guy and I’m glad he’s enjoying success, but that one was a doozy. And can’t they find anything better for Joe Hendry? I can’t see this as anything else but defining him down.
That segment was painful, for sure. Dom and JD were the faces for making it end. I don’t know who thought that was a good idea, but they were wrong. It did nothing for anyone.
2. I was a little surprised by the Women’s IC title change. Cory was certainly laying it on about Raquel having multiple opportunities at singles titles and not getting it done, so I was “ getting a feeling “ as the match went on. Were you surprised that they took the title off Sol so soon, and is there anything to read into with it?
I hated it. Once again WWE Creative cuts the legs out from a young, up and coming talent. I don’t care about the interference, Sol should have kept the belt. I usually don’f like the way that HHH books young talent and the reason why was on full display in this match. And let me be clear, I like Raquel a lot but this wasn’t the time to put the belt on here.
3. With Seth standing tall to end the show, does Booking 101 say that he loses on Sunday? They’ve been laying it on pretty thick about Roman never beating Seth. Unless Roman is going on hiatus again?
The ONLY way that Roman should lose here is if he is leaving and even at that, I would still have him win and then beg him to stay.
4. Overall, do you think they’ve done everything they could to hype this coming weekend?
Given the current constraints that they are working under (like trying to get people to sell a kidney just to attend the show), I guess they did. There will be a lot of great work on the show but it’s not going in super hot for me. I would give the build a 6 out of 10.
I like watching NXT. Of the people who started after Wrestlemania, who do you see as having good main roster potential? Besides Naraku, who has a ton of experience, I like the three guys in Vanity project.
They have a ton of great talent with potential so I don’t want to name people and leave others out. The one thing that’s for sure, Shawn Michaels and his team do a great job and will get them ready for the main roster. Then, it’s up to Creative to use them correctly.
