Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling President Scott D'Amore posted the following thoughts about tonight's TSN2 premiere of the weekly Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Mayhem series:

Tonight MAPLE LEAF PRO Wrestling debuts our new #mlpmayhem TV series.
What started at a dream in a coffee shop in west Windsor in 1993 is now a reality as tonight we go coast to coast on TSN and around the world in over 100 countries on All Elite Wrestling’s #MyAEW
Grateful for all the people who have been a part of this journey and what we have accomplished.

As we have previously reported, Jeff Kavanaugh has been diagnosed with Stage Four Colon and Liver cancer and has been battling the disease valiantly.
Kavanaugh frequently served as the ring announcer for TNA (then Impact Wrestling) between Bound for Glory 2017 and Hard to Kill 2020 and has been the ring announcer for Border City Wrestling and occasionally Maple Leaf Pro since that period.
Jeff has been involved with the business in some capacity for over 30 years, notably serving as the referee for The Rock’s only independent wrestling match back in May 1998.
