DDP Yoga - reality or carny deal?
I can only speak of those I know who have tried it and just about everyone has praised it. I think like anything else that is meant to help your health, if you follow the diet and workout regimen, you will see results. I think DDP has done a hell of a lot to help people and I don't think calling it a carny deal is really fair to him at all.
Whatever happened to the books on ROH and Cary Silkin's memoir?
The ROH books by Shane Hagadorn are waiting publication. The last I heard about Cary's book, he wasn't entirely thrilled with how it was coming together and it was on the backburner.
Has Jerry Lynn ever considered returning from retirement? He looks to be in great shape.
I don't think Lynn has any intentions to ever wrestle again. He's extremely busy as a coach and producer for AEW and certainly has the day to day pains of being a former pro wrestler. I don't believe he wants to add to those.
What do General Managers actually do, since wrestling is scripted?
Nothing! They perform their on camera roles, like every other performer.
Do independent promotions carry insurance in case of weather conditions?
No, most independent promotions would not, due to the sheer price it would cost. 99% of these companies are small hand to mouth, cash in hand business. I would wager most are barely scraping by.
What happens if the weather is so bad they have to pull the plug on Wrestlemania?
I don't think that will ever happen, but if it does, I guarantee WWE has a hell of a liability insurance policy in place to protect themselves from losses. They are a far larger entity and can carry the load of such an expense.
