In promoting today's release of Moana, The Rock appeared on NBC News this morning in NYC and noted that he almost made his Broadway debut but scheduling issues have prevented it from happening this far.
While he didn't note who would have played each role, The Rock noted there were plans for he and Kevin Hart to star in The Odd Couple, which was a tremendously funny play well before it become a TV series starring Tony Randall and Jack Klugman.
The Rock noted Hart's schedule prevented the play from being staged since you need to commit from six months to a year for the project.
The Rock said that he still wants to make his Broadway debut and spoke as if it could still happen, but not with Hart on stage alongside him.
