Disney's live action adaptation of Moana will hit theayters on 7/10 with The Rock reprising his role of Maui:
The animated franchise that inspired this live action version is continuing as well. During a media event for the film in Brazil, The Rock announced Moana 3 was in the works, according to Variety. “Yes, we have talked about ‘Moana 3,’ yes, but first, live-action ‘Moana,’ we’ll let that come out first. We have [the] amazing Jared Bush and Dana Ledoux Miller, who have been our writers … they will pen ‘Moana 3.’”
