This might be a dumb question, but I sometimes hear a non-American wrestler has issues obtaining a visa to work in the US. I'm guessing this isn't because he didn't file the paperwork in time. Any ideas on how this process works?
It's not a dumb question. What usually happens is a company wants to bring a talent in from another country, so they have to make a case to the United States government as to why this person is so unique and talented that what they do and bring to a show cannot be replicated by an American talent. They will require that an expert in the field make a written testimony as to what that talent provides. I've written the letters in the past for a number of Mexican, Canadian and Japanese talents over the years. When it comes to processing a renewal, the delays are often because the current government makes it a far harder, longer process now and there's no rush on their end to get anything done. So it leaves people in a void waiting, especially since they have to return to their home country as part of the process since the visa has to be issued at the American embassy there.
Just a few questions regarding AAA.
Is the 6 sixed ring gone? I've not seen it since WWE bought the comany.
The trios titles have not defended on AAA programing since last year. Why continue with the championship?
Will the go from 1 hour to 2 hours? It's hard to invest in storylines and wrestlers when you only see them every 2-3 weeks.
I've never been told the six-sided ring is done but they used it sparingly, so it is likely they will use it for a special event at some point. My guess is they will get back to the AAA Trios titles. They were establishing other characters and titles. You can't do everything at once. I haven't heard of them expanding the show, but I hope they don't. It's an easy, entertaining hour most weeks and that leaves fans waiting to watch more as opposed to being over-saturated with content.
I apologize because I’m pretty sure it’s been asked before, but what are the best (Top 10?) “Must Read” Wresting Biographies out there?
In no particular order, the first Mick Foley book, Ric Flair, Gary Hart, Howard Brody, Bret Hart, JJ Dillon, the first Chris Jericho, Lou Thesz, William Regal and AJ Lee. That would be my top ten personally.
If Mick Foley's WWE legends deal ended, does that mean AEW can make Mankind t-shirts?
No. WWE created the Mankind character. Foley was the creator of Cactus Jack and Dude Love however....
