AEW’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view is live from the SAP Center in San Jose, California.
We start with The Buy In with Renee Paquette and Jeff Jarrett going over the card and reminding us how to purchase the pay-per-view. We also see the round steel cage that will be used in the main event.
Our commentary team is Excalibur, Nigel McGuinness, and Walker Stewart.
Daniel Garcia w/Marina Shafir vs Drilla Moloney
They lock up and break, then lock up again, and Garcia gets a waistlock takedown before letting him go. Garcia gets a chop in the corner and talks trash. They run the ropes, and Molony gets a pair of shoulder tackles. Garcia goes to the floor to regroup, but Moloney works him over against the barricade. Garcia is knocked over the barricade, and then Moloney pulls him back and rolls him into the ring.
Garcia gets a dragon screw and an elbow strike when Moloney tries to get into the ring. Garcia runs Moloney into the steel steps, sets him in a chair for blows, and then charges for a drop kick. Garcia rolls Moloney into the ring and works the leg. Shafir grabs Moloney when the ref is distracted, but the ref does finally see it. Garcia wraps his legs around Moloney’s, pulls his head back, and then jams his knees into the mat.
Garcia gets another dragon screw and grabs an ankle lock. Moloney rolls backward but can’t break the hold. Moloney gets a rollup for two, and Garcia breaks the hold and hits a drop kick. Garcia gets ten in the corner. Moloney and Moloney run the rope,s and Moloney gets a drop kick. They trade chops, and Moloney is able to chop Garcia to the corner. Garcia gets a big boot when Moloney charges, but Moloney is able to get a pop-up power bomb for two.
Moloney goes to the top and misses a leap. Garcia picks the legs and grabs the dragon tamper. Moloney makes the crawl to the ropes for the break. Garcia lays in kicks to Moloney’s head. Moloney is able to hoist Garcia, and Garcia fights free. Moloney picks him up again and sets for the drilla killa, and Shafir pulls Garcia down out of it. As the ref breaks it up, Garcia gets a rollup for two.
They trade blows, and Garcia gets Twist and Shout. Moloney grabs Garcia mid-leap for the drilla killa, the pin, and the win.

Skye Blue vs Maika - Survival of the Fittest Qualifier Match
Julia Hart is sent to the back before they lock up and Blue forces them to the corner. Blue yells that this is her ring. Blue lays in blows and Maika fires back. Blue pulls Maika down by her hair. They run the ropes and Maika gets a kitchen sink knee. Maika gets a shoulder tackle twice for a two count.
Blue gets out of a vertical suplex for a rollup for two. Maika gets a drop toe hold and Maika is sent to the floor where Blue gets a PK from the apron. Blue tries for a diving hurricanrana, and Maika catches her and gets a power bomb on the apron. Maika covers Blue for two. Maika tries for an arm bar, but Blue gets the break. Blue is able to slam Maika’s head into the second turnbuckle and then covers for two.
Blue gets a series of blows and then a twisting neck breaker for two. Maika gets a vertical suplex, then a back suplex, and then covers for two. Maika gets a series of short arm clotheslines. Blue goes to the top and Maika joins her there and gets a superplex for two.
Maika gets a splash in the corner and puts Blue on top. They fight on top and Blue slides out and gets a head kick followed by a Liger Bomb for two. They throw hands while on their knees and fight to their feet. They get clotheslines charging into the ropes. Blue gets a rope assist spinning DDT for two. Maika gets a power slam as Blue comes off the ropes for two. Blue gets a thrust kick and Maika rolls to the apron.
They fight through the ropes and then on the apron and Miaka gets a brain buster on the apron. Maika gets a hammerlock Michinoku Driver for the pin and the win.

Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions vs Thunder Rosa and Olympia
Rosa and Kross started the match with Rosa attacking immediately. Kross tags in Bayne, and Rosa lays in chops to both of them. Olympia is tagged in and she and Rosa send Divine Dominion to the floor. Rosa gets a tornado from the top and Olympia gets a springboard dive off the top rope.
Rosa rolls Bayen into the ring and works her over in the corner. Bayern gets a banderas when Rosa charges and Rosa is booted to the floor. Kross is tagged in and puts Rosa on her shoulders to drop her on the top turnbuckle. They work Rosa over with quick tags. Rosa sends both Bayen and Kross to the floor and Olympia gets the hot tag.
She works over Kross and then squats with her on her shoulders before a Samoan drop for two. Rosa is tagged in, and Kross runs them into each other. Bayne tags in and is taken down by Olympia and Rosa uses Bayne and Olympia as a platform for a running drop kick. Olympia gets a splash on Bayne for two.
Rosa tags in and Bayne tosses Rosa before tagging in Kross. Kross gets a clothesline for two, broken up by Olympia. Bayern is tagged in and they double-team Rosa. Rosa gets a running kick, but Kross takes down Rosa and then Olympia. Olympus and Kross trade blows until Kross drops her with a thrust kick. Olympia is put on top and Bayne joins her for a hurricanrana. Rosa nails Bayne with a drop kick and then dodges when Bayne goes for a kick and takes out Kross instead. Rosa gets a drop kick and tags in Olympia, who gets a gorilla press on Bayne.
Rosa gets a diving foot stop for two, broken up by Kross. Rosa lays in kicks and then a rollup on Bayne. Bayne is able to slam Rosa for two, broken up by Olympia. Divine Dominion gets the two-woman slam on Rosa for the pin and the win.

The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) vs. El Sky Team (Místico and Máscara Dorada) vs. Unbound Co. (Shingo Takagi and Titán)
HUGE Ovation for Mistico
Mistico and Titan shake hands and then Titan drop kicks Mistico down quickly.
Mistico gets a crossbody off the ropes, kicks in different parts in the ring, and then a teijeris.
Dorada tags in as does Nick. They miss attacks as they do kicks and flips.
They lock up and run the ropes and it’s time for Young Buckery.Takaga gets into the ring.
The Bucks work over Dorada and then Dorada is able to get double arm drags
Takagi is tagged in by Nick and he gets an elbow drop before Dorada gets a running attack.
Takagi gets a shoulder tackle and tags in Titan and they nail Dorada with shops. Takagi gets a suplex followed by a splash by Titan for two.
Mistico is tagged in and runs wild. The Bucks try to stop him with superkicks and then double team moves.
Titan is able to send the Bucks to the floor and Dorada fights with Titan on top.
Mistico gets Risky Business from the top, sending Titan onto everyone on the floor.
Titan is rolled into the ring and is worked over by Mistico and Dorada.
Mistico gets a senton from the apron over the top onto Titan for two.
Matt tags in and is able to get the locomotion northern lights suplex on Dorada with Titan being suplexed as well on the last one.
Takagi tags in and holds Matt for a Titan leg drop for two.
Matt is able to fight off Titan and Takagi and Nick is tagged in and he fights them both off as well.
Mistico gets a tag on Nick and we get him and Dorada vs the Bucks. Titan and Takagi are also sent to the floor so it’s dive time
Dorada sends Titan into the ring and everyone is giving everyone else superkicks until only Takagi is standing.
Everyone kips up and hits Takagi with superkicks.
The Bucks give everyone Canadian Destroyers and everyone is down.
Takagi is up first and gives everyone charges into the corner.
Mistico and Takagi go to the top and Mistico gets a Spanish Fly from the top for two.
Dives from the top onto everyone.
Mistico gets La Mistica on Takagi and it’s broken up by the Bucks.
Mistico is worked over by Titan and Takagi. Titan ends it with a diving stomp on Mistico for two.
The Bucks throw hands with Titan and Takagi.
Everyone is brawling in the ring and the Bucks are able to get the Meltzer Driver on Titan for the pin and the win.

Kenny Omega vs. Zack Sabre Jr.
They move to mat wrestling, and each gets a one count before they reset. They lock up and work a Greco-Roman knuckle lock. Omega kicks out, and Zack gets an uppercut. Zack gets a snap mare, then gets a neck twist with his feet. Zack gets a charge into the corner, but then runs into a big boot from Omega. Omega gets a leaping hurricanrana, and Zack rolls to the floor, where Omega dives onto him.
Omega runs Zack into the steel steps, and they fight against the barricade and the Spanish Announce table. They fight on top of the Spanish Announce table before falling into the Spanish announce team. Zack returns to the ring and then works over Omega’s arm on the apron. Zack gives dismissive kicks to Omega. He works on Omega’s arm as Omega tries to shake off the pain.
Zack gets a pair of kicks and then works over Omega in the corner. Omega is able to get a charging kick into Zack in the corner and then a face slam into the mat. Omega gets a lariat takedown. Zack rolls to the floor, and Omega gets the Terminator dive. Zack is rolled into the ring, and Omega goes to the top, selling the arm. Omega gets a drop kick to Zack’s back for two.
Omega gets a neck breaker across his knee. When Omega calls for a V Trigger, Zack grabs his finger and starts working the arm again. They throw blows and chops. Zack gets a series of uppercuts, and they go back and forth with blows. Omega gets a snapdragon suplex. Both men are down and struggle to get to their feet. Omega is up first, hitting a second snapdragon suplex. Omega gets a series of knee strikes and covers for two.
Zack counters the next Snapdragon and rolls up for two. Omega tries for an arm bar, and Zack blocks in and gets a kick to free himself. Omega calls for another kick, and Zack obliges him. Omega grabs Zack’s leg. Omega tries for another snapdragon, and Zack turns it into an arm bar, and Omega gets to the ropes for a break.
Zack keeps working the arm. Omega can get chops, and Zack gets an arm snap. Omega drops Zack with a shot to the back of the neck, but can’t pick up Zack. Zack gets a pair of kicks, and Omega gets a big lariat. Omega gets a V Trigger to Zack’s back. Omega hoists Zack, and they go to the top turnbuckle. Zack gets a rear-naked choke on the top. Omega falls backward onto Zack.
Both men are down, and Omega is up first. Omega gets deliberate knee strikes, and Zack grabs the knee and gets an ankle lock. Omega gets an upkick for freedom. Omega gets a knee strike and a poisonrana for two. Sabre gets a strike when Omega goes for a V Trigger and a rollup with a bridge for two. Omega gets a pile driver, and again, both men are down. Omega gets a V Trigger. Zack escapes the one-winged angle for a rollup for two. Zack hits a Zack driver for two.
They throw slaps back and forth until Omeag gets a Snapdragon suplex, a V Trigger and Zack gets an arm bar to block the one winged angle. Zack makes it into a Triangle choke. Omega picks Zack up for a slam to get out of it. Omega finally hits the One Winged Angel for the pin and the win.

Jon Moxley (AEW Continental Champion) vs. Bandido
Mox takes Bandido down and Bandido is able to pick the leg and they return to their feet. Mox gets an armbar, and Bandido is able to work free. They lock up again and move to arm bars. Bandido and Mox both play to the crowd before locking up again. They run the ropes, and neither gets an advantage.
They trade chops, the blows, and then Bandido gets a drop kick. They fight through the ropes, and Mox kicks Bandido to the floor before diving onto Bandido. Bandido then answers with a dive on his own. They return to the ring, and Bandido tries a splash into the corner, but Mox leaps up to nail him with both boots. Mox sets up the steel steps and takes Bandido to the top for a piledriver on the steps.
Bandido is busted open, and Mox bites it. He tries to tear the mask and instead tosses Bandido into the ring. In the ring, he is able to finally tear the mask. Mox keeps Bandido down with kicks. As Mox talks trash, Bandido slaps him. Mox slams him down and then gorudns and pounds Bandido. Mox gives five in the corner, and Bandido interrupts him until Mox finishes the ten. Bandido is able to pick Mox up as he leaves the corner to toss Mox across the ring.
They throw hands in the middle of the ring, and then Mox bites again. Bandido gets a big boot on Mox and then a sky twister, followed by slang blades. Bandido then gets ten in the corner. Bandido gets a drop kick after back flipping out of the corner. Bandido gets a running knee strike for two. Bandido gets a gorilla press and then a frog splash for the top, but Mox gets the knees up.
They trade big boots in the middle of the ring, and Bandido gets a spin kick and a German suplex. Mox gets a lariat and the death rider for a two count. Mox drags Bandido to the corner and bring shim to the top. Bandido fights out of Mox’s hold and then bites him. Bandido gets a moonsault, holding Mox for two. Bandido tries for a 21 plex, but he overshoots, and Mox gets a rear naked choke. Bandido escapes, and Mox gets a bulldog choke. Bandido works to his feet with Mox on his back and falls backward onto Mox, but Mox holds on, and Bandido passes out.

Shota Umino (IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion) vs. Pac
The announcers do a good job of giving background on the match before they begin. I have to acknowledge that AEW has improved on this aspect over the years and I am glad to see it.
Pac charges in with boots, stomping down Umino in the corner. They go to the floor where Pac keeps up the pressure. Pac rolls Umino into the ring and gets a shotgun drop kick from the top for two. Pac gets a rear chinlock and Umino fights to his feet. They run the ropes and Pac gets a running kick, which pisses off Umino. They run the ropes, and Umino gets a drop kick.
Umino lays in strikes in the corner. Pac reverses and does the same. Umino reverses again and beats Pac down to the mat. Umino whips Pac to the corner and gets a fisherman’s suplex for two. Pac gets a back body drop and Umino gets a drop toe hold into the ropes, followed by leaping over the top and slamming Pac head into the apron.
Umino rolls Pac into the ring, and Pac rolls out the other side. Umino runs around the ring to hit a shotgun drop kick into the barricade. Umino gets a draping DDT using the barricade. Pac ins rolled into the ring, and Umino gets a power bomb for two. Umino charges at Pac, who gets a belly-to-belly suplex into the turnbuckles. Pac stomps him down in the corner.
Pac pulls out a table, and Umino attacks Pac as he does so. Umino then sets up the table. Pac gets a kick to Umino. Pac gets a top rope moonsault from onto Umino. Pac rolls Umino into the ring and joins him. Pac puts Umino on top and joins him there for an avalanche belly to belly suplex for two.
Pac slaps and kicks Umino to mock him as he talks trash. They trade forearms and Umino staggers after each blow from Pac. Pac gives mocking kicks again. Umino gets to his feet and they trade blows again, and this time, Umino is able to stand without staggering. Pac gets a rear kick, and Umino drops Pac with a strike. Pc gets a release German suplex, and follows with another, and then tosses Umino through the table at ringside from the ring.
Umino is rolled into the ring, and Pac gets a 450 splash for two. Pac grabs a brutalizer and Umino gets to the ropes for a break. Pac goes to the top and Umino dodges a leap. Umino drops Pac with a head butt and gets a strike knee for two. Pac gets a poisonrana. Pac gets a big kick. Umino gets a lariat for two. Umino gets a paradigm shift and then a Northern Lights bomb for the pin and the win.

After the match, Mox gets into the ring and has words for Umino. We then get Hiroshi Tanahashi’s music as he comes to the ring. Mox leaves with Pac through the crowd. Umino sits ont he mat and then rises for Tanahashi to put the belt on Umino’s waist.
Thekla (AEW Women’s Champion) vs. Starlight Kid
Thekla gets a flashy entrancer with fire dancers.
Tony Schiavone joins the commentary, and Nigel tags out.
They circle each other in the ring before locking up. They run the rope,s and Kid gets a drop kick, and Thekla goes to the foot to regroup. Kid waits for Thekla to get into the ring, and Thekla beats down Kid. Thekla shoves Kid’s hand into her own mask. Kid is able to ground and pound Thekla. Kid gets a kick to Thekla’s head, and they run the ropes. Thekla gets a kick out of the ropes and gets the Tranquilo pose in the ropes and Kick kicks her to the floor; Thekla sweeps the leg and they fight on the floor.
Thekla dominates as they fight on the floor. Thekla goes to attack Okada (the head of Stardom), but Kid saves him. Thekla rolls Kid into the ring for two. Thekla goads the crowd as she beats down Kid. Thekla tosses Kid across the ring. Kid misses a kick, and Thekla stomps her down again. Thekla gets a mule kick to Kid’s head for a two-count.
Kid gets a springboard crossbody off the ropes. She puts a boot on Thekla for two. She then hits a standing moonsault for two. Kid slams Thekla/s knee into the mat. Kid then starts working on Thekla’s leg in the ropes. Kid grabs a stretch muffler, but Thekla goes for the eyes to break the hold. Thekla gets the tarantula in her ropes and holds it for four.
Thekla goes to the top, and Kid climbs the ropes for an arm drag. Kid goes to the top and Thekla joins her. They throw hands on the top, and Thekla gets the spider suplex. Kid drop-kicks her down when Thekla is gloating. They fight on the apron. Kid gets a V Trigger knee on Thekla as Thekla charges. Kid then hits Black Tiger’s Divine Punishment (and head first slam on the apron).
Kid rolls Thekla into the ring and then gets a fisherman’s suplex with a bridge for two. Kid walks over Thekla and goes to the top and misses a moonsault press. Thekla hits a spear and misses a stomp. Kid gets a drop kick to Thekla’s back and both women are down. They throw hands on their knees and as they work to their feet, the crowd is chanting LOUDLY for Thekla. Kid beats down Thekla but runs into a lariat.
Thekla gets a big running boo tint he ropes and goes to the top. Thekla gets a cross body from the top for two. Thekla does the spider walk and goes for a spear, but Kid drop kicks her knee. Kid grabs a stretch muffler and makes it a giant swing with a slam and holds onto the stretch muffler. Thekla finally gets to the ropes for the break. Kid hits a Divine Punishment for two. Kid hit a moonsault press for two.
Thekla gets an O’Connor roll with a bridge for two. Thekla dodges a lariat and hits a spear for two. Thekla hits a stomp and pulls up Kid for a second stomp for the pin and the win.

After the match, Julia Hart runs to the ring with scissors and Thekla cuts off the Kid’s mask. She then takes it to smack Okada with it.
Cope and Cage (Adam Copeland and Christian Cage) (AEW World Tag Team Champions) vs. The Dogs (David Finlay and Clark Connors)
Nigel rejoins commentary.
Conners and Cage start the match, and they lock up and break. They lock up again, and Cage forces them to the corner. Connors gets a knee strike and then chops Cage to the corner. Cage is whipped to the corner when he gets a back kick and a leaping sunset flip for two. Cope is tagged in, as is Finlay. They lock up and head to the corner. Cope grabs a side headlock and they run the ropes. Cope gets a shoulder tackle and grabs a side headlock on the mat. Finally rolls back for a one count, but Cope keeps the hold. They work to their feet, and Conoors gets a shoulder tackle.
Cope gets a drop toe hold and tags in Cage. They get a two-man slam, and Connors gets into the ring, and Cage slams him into Finaly’s swimsuit area. Cage gets twenty in the corner on Finlay. Finlay begs off, and Cage hears Connors behind him and attacks. Finlay sends Cage to the floor and attacks him there, running Cage’s arm into the right post. Cage is rolled into the ring and covers for two.
Finally works over Cage’s arm. The Dogs keep Cage in their corner as the babyface in peril. Connors lights a match and uses it on Cage as he is draped on the bottom turnbuckle. Cage gets a clothesline on Finlay and crawls to his corner. Connors pulls Cope off the apron to stop the tag. Cage is sent to the floor, and Cage’s arm is put under the steel steps, and Cope stops them from stomping on it.
Cope rolls Cage to the ring, and Cage pokes Finlay’s eye to get the hot tag to Cope, who runs wild. Cope gets an impaler on Finley for two. Cope tries for the spear, but Finlay leaps over it, and the Dogs attack Cope. Cage pulls Connors out of the ring and slams him into the announce table, then stands on Finlay’s back on the second rope.
Connors is able to slam Cage into the barricade. The Dogs get the high-low on Cope for two. The Dogs set for Full Clip, but Cope suplexes Finlay into Connors on top, and Connors is knocked to the floor. Cope tries for a spear, but Finaley gets a kick. Cage gets a spear, and Connors shoves Cage into the ref to break up the count. Cope and Connors charge into each other.
Finlay hits Cage with a shillelagh as the ref is still down. The lights go out,t and when they come back on, The Bang Bang Gang is on the stage, and in the ring is the Rerturning Jay White. He gives Finlay the Blade Runner and leaves the ring. Cope hits the spear on Finlay, and the ref counts the pin and the win.

Mercedes Moné vs. Maya World - Women's Owen Hart Cup Final
They start by piefacing each other, and Maya gets three quick rollups. They run the ropes, and the crowd is louder than they have been all night. Maya gets a drop toe hold and then dodges a charge from Mone by swinging through the rope,s and then gets a cannonball senton to the floor onto Mone. Mone gets a kick from the apron. They return to the ring, and Maya gets an arm drag into a statement maker, and Mone fights her way free.
Mone tosses Maya to the floor and slowly follows her. Maya is rolled back into the ring, and Mone gets a two-count. Maya bridges out, and Mone pulls her down by her hair. Mone charges into Maya, who catches her and slams her into the turnbuckles and then rolls through for a vertical suplex for two. Maya goes to the top and Mone joins her. Mone knocks Maya down and then gets a meteora on the apron. Mone then gets another meteora on the floor.
Maya is rolled into the ring, and Mone goes to the top. Mone gets a meteora for two. Mone works over Maya in the corner. Mone gets a pair of snap mares and then a standing meteora for two. Maya is sent to the floor. Mone preens for the crow as Maya is recovering. Mone rolls Maya into the ring and then runs around the ring. Mone gets a straightjacket backstabber and holds on. Mone sends Maya to the corner and goes back to working her over.
Mone tries for an over-the-top leg drop, but Maya gets her feet up. They go back and forth with big moves that don’t connect until Mone gets a roll thought into a double stomp for two. Mone talks trash as the crowd chants for Maya. Maya gets to her feet and beats Maya down, but Maya gets an upkick and then a stomp on Mone.
They run the ropes, and Maya gets a drop kick. Maya gets a springboard cutter for two. Maya hits a shining wizard. Mone gets an upkick and hits the three amigos suplexes. Mone walks over Maya and then goes to the top. Maya gets her knees up when Mone gets a frog splash and covers Mone for two. Mone gets a statement maker. Maya kicks off the ropes to reverse and pin for two.
Maya gets a bridging back suplex and holds on to hit a second, and then a third, where she dumps Mone to the floor. Maya dives onto Mone and rolls Mone into the ring and goes to the top. Maya gets a senton from the top for two. Mone uses her legs to slam Maya into the turnbuckle, but Maya stops a second attempt. Maya kicks Mone’s head and goes for a power bomb, but Mone holds onto the top ropes. Mone keeps trying for a power bomb, but Maya blocks it twice. Mone is able to get a sunset flip bomb into the turnbuckles, followed by double knees in the corner for two.
Mone sets for a lung blower, and Maya reveres it. Maya gets a rollup for two. Mone fights out a backslide for the Money Maker for two. Maya gets a bridge back bend for two. Mone tries for a backstabber, but Maya holds onto the ropes. Maya gets a sunset flip power bomb from the apron to the floor. Maya gets a springboard moonsault onto Mone on the floor. Mone is rolled into the ring, and Maya hits a moonsault for two.
Mone captures Maya for two, and Maya reverses it into a statement maker. Maya uses the ropes to kick backward and Mone reverses into a statement maker of her own. Mone rolls backward for a two-count, and the hold is broken. Moen gets a backstabber into the statement maker again, and Maya has to tap out.
Winner of the Owen Hart Women’s Tournament: Mercedes Mone
Renee is with Athena, who says the better women won, but she isn’t surprised. She is the greatest champion of all time, but her pupils can never get the job done. She tells Maya to keep dreaming big dreams, but she belongs at the back of the line.
The cage is lowered and we are told this cage is called “Death’s Door”
Team Briscoe (Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, Kyle O'Reilly, Konosuke Takeshita, and Darby Allin) vs. Team DCMJF (MJF, Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, Jake Doyle, Kazuchika Okada, and Andrade El Ídolo)
Briscoe’s team all have backpacks. Don Callis removes Walker and joins commentary.
They charge at each other, and everyone is brawling in and around the ring. As everyone else is on the floor, Mark goes for a dive, but MJF attacks him from behind. Doyle hits a power bomb on Darby on the apron and then tosses him into the cage. Knight and Doyle get a table from under the ring. A second table is set up with a picture of Callis on it. More tables are pulled out and set up around the ring.
MJF and Andrade have words in the ring. The rest of the team pulls them apart. Roddy grabs a hockey equipment bag and takes out everyone on the other team but Okada, who is able to stop him. Mark and Kyle hit the ring with their backpacks. Kyle pulls out an NES gaming system and uses it as a weapon, getting a drop toe hold on Fletcher onto it. Kyle then rams it into Fletcher's head.
Fletcher is busted open, and Mark pours out thumbtacks. Everyone is still brawling and Mork dives onto Doyle after Doyle swings Roddy into the cage. Fletcher tosses Kyel into the turnbuckle. Mark and Fletcher fight on top and Fletcher slams Mark into the tacks from the top. Darby hits the ring with a skateboard to work over Fletcher until MJF stops him. MJF gets a back body drop on Darby into the tacks for two.
MJF grabs a broom and sweeps away the tacks onto the floor. Cassidy then crotches MJF with the broom. Cassidy pulls out a bag of orange slices from Willow Nightingale for his team and the ref. Fletcher kicks them away and they grab him and run the oranges into Fletcher’s wounds. We get a quick brawl and Kyle is busted open. We are left with Takeshita and Okada in the ring. Takeshita takes down Okada and in his backpack is the middle finger. He drops Okada and then Fletcher attacks.
Fletcher gets a running boot and Takeshita dodges a rainmaker that almost hits Fletcher. Okada pulls Takeshita up for a piledriver, but Fletcher accidentally kicks Okada. Takeshita gets Okada and Fletcher with a German suplex at the same time. Knight and Darby are next in the ring to brawl and Darby gets a Code Red and goes to the top, and Doyle sweeps his leg. Doyle holds chairs for Knight to get a coast-to-coast drop kick, hitting a chair into Darby’s face for two, broken up by Mark.
MJF throws a chair at Mark's head as tables are set up around the ring. MJF puts on the Dynamite Diamond and tells Okada to open up the hockey bag. Inside is Lio Rush. Lio does weird Lio Rush stuff to take people out. MJF faces off with Lio and Lio wants the ring, his precious. Okada finally takes out Lio with a rainmaker and MJF makes Doyle put him back in the hockey bag.
Mark fights everyone off in the middle of the ring and a ladder is shoved into the ring. He puts it around his neck and spins. Mark tosses it to the floor when everyone is down. MJF gets into the ring with Mark. They charge at each other and throw hands and Doyle attacks Mark from behind before Mark can hit the Jay Driller. Roddy puts Doyle through a table at ringside. Andrade attacks Kyle in the ring and puts a chair in front of his face and gets a running knee strike into the knees.
Takeshita takes out Doyle and we’re back to Okada and Takeshita. They fight to the apron, and after Takeshita takes out Okada, Fletcher tries to put Takeshita through the table, but Takeshita gets a blue thunder bomb through the table. MJF gets a low blow on Mark, and Cassidy steps in front of Mark to protect him. MJF slaps Cassoidy and Darby gets a scorpion death drop and a coffin drop on MJF. Knight goes for a splash, but Darby dodges and MJF takes the UGO splash.
Darby and Knight fight and Knight goes to the top of the cage. Darby follows him and Knight grabs Darby’s bag and it explodes in sparks and Knight falls through a table, and Darby hits a coffin drop from the top of the cage.
In the ring, Mark gets a Jay Driller on MJF and Doyle breaks up the pin at two. Doyle uses a chair on Mark’s back and then holds up Mark for MJF. MJF tells Andrade to hold Mark. Andrade reluctantly does it. MJF charges, Mark Dodges and Andrade hits MJF with a big kick. Doyle yells at him for doing it and then shoves him. Andrade gets a low blow and tears off his shirt and has one underneath that says says “F#ck Don and F#ck MJF. Mark gets the Jay Driller of Doyle and covers the pin and the win.
Winners: Team Briscoe
Lexi Nair is with Mark Briscoe, and he wants his title shot this Wednesday night.
Will Ospreay vs Swerve Strickland w/Prince Nana Men’s Owen Hart Cup Final
Swerve arrives on a chopper in full Lobo mode from the Supergirl mode.
They start by throwing hands and then running the ropes. They fight through the ropes, and each dodges the other’s big moves. Swerve goes to the floor to regroup with Nana. Swerve refuses to get into the ring until Will is held back. Will goes out to the other side of the ring and tries to roll Swerve into the ring, but Swerve knows he is coming and attacks Will when he gets into the ring. Will gets a hurricanrana, and lays in chops in the corner. Swerve gets chops as well, and they run the ropes with Will getting a drop kick.
Swerve goes to the floor, and Will dives onto Swerve. Swerve is rolled into the ring, and Will gets a series of upkicks. They throw chops, and Swerve is chopped down. Swerve gets a big boot into a flatliner for one only. They grapple in the corner, and Swerve slowly pushes Will's head to the mat with his foot. Swerve gets a pair of neckbreakers. Swerve picks up Will and slams him onto his back.
Swerve locks on a crossface and then twists Will’s head from behind. Swerve slams Will backward and Will kips up and gets an insigiri, followed by a springboard corkscrew kick. Will goes to the top and gets a leaping elbow strike for two. Will gets a running boot into the corner and then a springboard elbow to the back of Swerve’s head. Will misses a hidden blade and Swerve gets an upkick followed by a back breaker.
Swerrve yells at Will to get up, and then slaps him over and over. Will gets to his feet stoically and nails Swerve with a right hand. He hits a second, and then a third. Swerve gets a kick. They go back and forth with quick moves, and Swerve gets a slam for two. Will goes to the floor and Swerve gets a boot from the apron. Swerve removed the turnbuckle attachment pad. Swerve goes to the floor and Will tosses him into the ring post and gets a double stomp on the barricade to Swerve’s back.
Will gets a cross armbreaker on the floor, and Swerve starts tapping, but it’s on the floor. Nana throws coffee at Will to make him break the hold. Swerve tosses Will onto the apron and then pulls him to the apron. Swerve does a catapult into the exposed turnbuckle attachment. Will is busted open.
Swerve toys with Will, easily knocking him down over and over. He then goes face-to-face with Will to trash-talk him. Swerve gets a deadlift slam for two. Swerve charges at Will, who hits a Spanish Fly. Will blocks Swerve’s strike and fires back. Ospreay gets a stundog millionaire and hits a Styles Clash for two. Will hits the hidden blade, and Swerve nails Will right back, and Will is down.
Swerve goes to the top, and Will hits the rope to knock him down. Will joins Swerve on top. Will reverses a slam into a hurricanrana and a tornado kick for two. Will goes for an Oz Cuttrer, but Sswerve catches him and hits dead eye for two. Will is on the apron, and Swerve goes to the top. Will avoids the Swerve stomp and swings Swerve headfirst into the steel steps.
Now, Swerve is busted open. Will slams Swerve’s head into the steel steps repeatedly. He then whips Swerve into the barricade. Will pulls out the steel steps and tears apart the top of the announce table. Will brings Swerve up the steps, and Nana swats Will’s leg. Will goes after Nana, who avoids him, and Swerve gets a House Call from the steps into Will. Swerve sets for a Vertibreaker on the steps, but Will fights free and gets a Styles Clash from the steps onto the announcer’s table.
Swerve gets into the ring at 9, and then Will gets a drop kick and follows with an Oz Cutter for two. Will gets a series of question mark kicks, a scrolling elbow strike, and then a straight right hand. Will nails Sweve in the back of the neck. The ref counts to 9, and Will gets a hidden blade for two. Will puts Swerve on top and joins him there. They fight on top, and Swerve stomps Wil as Will was holding the ropes.
Swerve escapes a Vertibreaker, and Swerve rolls him up for two. They trade two counts and both knock each other down. They are both on their feet at 8 and glare at each other. They charge at each other and Will hits hidden blade and follows with Stormbreaker for two. Swerve shoves Will into the ref and gets a low blow. Swerve hits Vertibreaker for two.
Swerve hits a hidden blade, and a slam for two. The Death Riders surround the ring and Will looks right at Mox as he screams. He gets a hidden blade and goes to the apron for a buckshot hidden blade for two. Will gets a paradigm shift, a death rider, and then a tiger driver for the pin and the win.
Winner of the Owen Hart Cup: Will Ospreay
Will kneels next to Swerve and they talk. Will then poses for the crowd and when Swerve leaves the ring, the Death Riders enter the ring and give Will the cup. Pyro explodes and we are desperately out of time.
