With rumors abounding that he may be WWE-return bound, Bishop Dyer (aka the former Baron Corbin) has disappeared from MLW programming. Today's episode of Fusion laid out a storyline that Dyer and the promotion were in a contract dispute and there would be an update next week. Dyer would be half of the promotion's Tag Team Champions The Skyscrapers. At the latest NYC taping, Dijak and Josh Bishop appeared with the belts under that name. The claim being made that night by those in the promotion was that Dyer had an acting gig in a film, but those claims have yet to hold up to any scrutiny.

*Bunkhouse Match: Trevor Lee vs. Andrew Everett vs. Diego Hill vs. Festus vs. Ikuro Kwon vs. Jesus Rodriguez vs. Josh Bishop vs. Matthew Justice vs. Paul Walter Hauser vs. The Beastman to crown first Southern Crown Champion.
