Welcome to PWInsider.com's NWA Powerrr TV on COMET TV coverage!
We see Billy Corgan and Bryan Idol demand to know we are ready for NWA Powerrr.
The announcers are Joe Galli, Danny Deals and Tim Storm. Storm is much better in this role as veteran than he was doing the Baron Von Raschke knockoff.
After the opening montage, Kyle Davis was in the ring interviewing new NWA Tag Team Champions The Country Gentlemen with Joe Cazana. Cazana said he predicted they would be champions and now they are. He told Davis to shut up. They were told they had to face a mystery team. Cazana said they are the champions and they did it by the book.
They showed footage of an NWA training seminar, talking about the importance of holding the NWA Women's Champion. New Champion Tiffany Nieves praised herself and said she makes the place near perfect. She complained she's going to have to face Gisele Shaw in a stipulation match. Sjhe knocked Natalia Markova, who hit the ring. The monstrous Greta grabbed Markova by the throat and....they went to a commercial for the NWA 78th event? Holy odd editing, Batman.
When they returned, Bryan Idol cut a promo about challenging NWA National Champion Mike Mondo tonight. He said to make your legacy, you have to do it day by day. He promised to take the belt and warned Mondo he was going to wonder who was going to save him now. He promised,:"Looks Kill and so do I."

The referee began counting Pope out. The masked men hit the ring and attacked Adonis. Pope rolled back in the ring, dropped a fist and scored the pin.
Your winner, The Pope!
Adonis showed some decent potential here and this was more competitive than you'd expect going in.
Backstage, The Pope said he was feeling strong and rejuvenated. He asked Mims if he saw what happened. Pope said everything came together. Mims congratulated him, but said that when he watched, the masked men did the work. Pope won but he needed the help. Pope said he didn't need the help but there's a difference between needing it and having the preference. He chose preference.
Back in the ring, Eric Smalls was waiting for his open challenge opponent.
It was Big Cuzzo, who towered over him.
