1 - Yuya Uemura, El Desperado, Masatora Yasuda vs. Togi Makabe, Toru Yano and Taisei Nakahara
Yasuda forces Nakahara to tap out to a Boston Crab.
2 - Hirooki Goto, YOH, Ryusuke Taguchi and Tatsuya Matsumoto vs. Jake Lee, Great O-Khan and Jakob Austin Young and Zane Jay
Lee hits a Giant Killer Knee to Matsumoto's gut. O-Khan makes a blind tag to Lee. Lee was about to finish off Matsumoto, but the referee tells Lee to get out of the ring because he was not the legal man. Lee is confused and goes to the floor to plead to the crowd and Japanese announcers, which provided some comedy to the fans.
O-Khan applies an Iron Claw to Matsumoto and gets the submission win.
O-Khan continues to beat down Matsumoto after the match.
Great O-Khan is acting like the killer he was when he first formed United Empire in 2020.
3 - Shota Umino and Satoshi Kojima vs. Ryohei Oiwa and Hartley Jackson
Umino pins Jackson after hitting the Second Chapter.
4 - Yota Tsuji, OSKAR, Shingo Takagi and Daiki Nagai vs. Ren Narita, Yujiro Takahashi, DOUKI and Yoshinobu Kanemaru
DOUKI puts Nagai to sleep with the Darkness Stretch.
5 - IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Number One Contender's Match: Kosei Fujita vs. Master Wato vs. SHO vs. Francesco Akira
Wato hits the Tsutenkaku German on Akira. SHO pulls the referee out of the ring. DOUKI jumps in the ring and attacks Wato. YOH comes in to save Wato. SHO hits YOH with a metal sheet. Fujita hits SHO with the metal sheet. Fujita hits Wato and DOUKI with the metal sheet. Akira low blows Fujita. Akira hits Fujita with the metal sheet. Akira throws the referee in the ring. Wato rolls Akira into a small package. Two count. Akira hits a Fireball. Two count. Akira hits a Buzzsaw Kick and Crown Fall. Akira pins Wato.
Francesco Akira becomes the Number One contender against YOH for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship.
YOH teases Akira after the match. Akira attacks YOH and hits him in the head with the title belt. He promises to take everything from YOH, on July 6.
6 - G1 Climax 36 B Block Play-in Match: YOSHI-HASHI vs. Aaron Wolf
Good match. Wolf forces YOSHI-HASHI to pass out in a triangle choke submission.
Aaron Wolf earns a spot in the B Block at G1 Climax 36.
7 - G1 Climax 36 A Block Play-in Match: Taichi vs. Yuto-Ice
Another good match. Yuto hits a dropkick to the back of Taichi's head. Two count. Taichi hits a brainbuster. They trade strikes. Taichi with kick to the head. Two count. Taichi with a Rolling Elbow and a Burning Lariat. Taichi hits the Dangerous Backdrop. Yuto kicks out. Yuto drapes Taichi on the top rope, and Yuto hits a One Man K.O.B. Two count. Taichi with a cradle. Two count. Yuto with a kneestrike to the head. Two count. Taichi blocks Cruela and hits a sliding lariat. Tiachi with a jumping high kick and a punch to the jaw. Yuto blocks Tensho Jujiro. Yuto headbutts him in the jaw and an elbow to the face. Yuto hits Cruela. Yuto pins Taichi.
Yuto-Ice earns a spot in the A Block in G1 Climax 36.
Yuto puts over Taichi and hypes the Korakuen Hall crowd for the G1 Climax tournament.
