NWA TOUTS NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS

The NWA issued:

 THE PAIGE SISTERS, COUNTRY GENTLEMEN REWRITE NATIONAL WRESTLING ALLIANCE HISTORY

History was made yet again in the National Wrestling Alliance! The crowning of Pretty Empowered marks the first time two sets of sibling champions have simultaneously reigned atop the NWA's respective tag divisions.

Sisters Kenzie & Kylie Paige, collectively Pretty Empowered, captured the NWA World Women’s Tag Team Championships on Saturday’s episode of NWA POWERRR on Comet. Brothers AJ & KC Cazana, The Country Gentlemen, are the current NWA World Tag Team Champions. It's the first time since the National Wrestling Alliance was founded in 1948 that two sets of siblings have concurrently held tag team gold.

This history-making title change came during a wild triple-threat which saw defending two-time NWA World Women's Tag Champions The Hex (Allysin Kay & Marti Belle) face Pretty Empowered and “Hollyhood” Haley J and Clara Carter. Kylie picked up the groundbreaking pinfall on Carter to claim gold. 

The Paige sisters are now both multi-time NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champions. This begins Kenzie’s third reign, each with different partners, and Kylie’s second. It's the Paiges' first time as champions together. 

Making further history, both sibling teams are led by their respective fathers. Tommy Henry was ringside for his daughters’ landmark win. 

The Gents are guided by father Col. Joe Cazana. Recently returning victorious from NWA’s first recorded NWA World Tag Championship defenses in Holland and Italy, “Papa Joe” takes every opportunity to crow about his sons’ title victory over former champions The Immortals after falling just shy of winning The 2026 Crockett Cup weeks before. 

NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champions Pretty Empowered and NWA World Tag Team Champions The Country Gentlemen with Col. Joe Cazana will compete at the upcoming NWA 78. The National Wrestling Alliance returns to Philly's legendary 2300 Arena for its annual anniversary spectacular on July 25.
