I just read on TMZ that the UFC a TKO company, spent 60 million for their (circus) fight card at the White House & are expected to lose tens of millions of dollars according to this article. How can TKO be OK with this, but are asking wrestlers in the WWE their other company, to take pay cuts or are out right cutting the wrestler, to make the bottom line look better?
TKO was happy to spend that money because of the exposure that the brand got by running the show at The White House. Look at it like advertising. Plus, UFC did sell a lot of sponsorship so it will help offset the costs. I don’t think it will necessarily trickle down to WWE but if it does, the suits at the top of TKO aren’t going to be concerned by that.
Also, I've read that the UFC has a lot of debt & the WWE is doing much better tha/n UFC. Since TKO is one company is it possible the WWE is the one who will ultimately pay for the White House circus?
I honestly can’t say. It all depends on how TKO does their corporate accounting.
I still can't believe they had this circus on the south lawn of The White Uouse, it truly bothered me. How about you?
It’s not something that I would have hosted if I were the President, that’s for sure. But to be fair, I am not a fan of UFC. I am not in that demographic.
Bron Breakker needs to beat Seth Rollins at Night Of Champions right?
If I am booking it, yes. Breakker, as the young lion, needs to be the veteran to continue his ascent up the card. A loss won’t hurt Seth at all but it would hurt Bron. It’s inside a cage so chicanery can be a part of the finish.
