VAMPIRO RETURNS TO THE RING

Although he had taken part in a series of retirement matches in recent months, lucha legend Vampiro returned to the ring on Saturday 6/13 in Bangor, Maine of all places.

Vampiro was booked to be the official host of Masked Republic's MaskedMania event but ended up back in the ring unannounced as a last second surprise.

Due to all the awful weather across the United States, a number of names including Juventud Guerrera were unable to get to Maine in time for the event.

That led to Masked Republic reshuffling their lineup, but being left without someone to face Sam Adonis

We are told that Vampiro insisted on facing Adonis in the main event, coming out to answer an open challenge in order to make sure fans went home happy despite the issues facing the live event.
