GANGREL HONORED, AIW DOCUMENTARY SCREENING IN BROOKLYN TONIGHT, TOMMY DREAMER AND MORE

Canada's Alpha-1 Wrestling honored former WWE star Gangrel at their event over the weekend, naming him the first-ever recepient of Alpha-1 Immortal Impact Award.  The promotion, on their Instagram described it as a "much-deserved appreciation for all of his hard work and dedication to the wrestling business we all love." -

The promotion returns to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls on 6/27 with Grand Jamboree featuring Cheech vs. Jimmy Townsend, A Campfire Brawl with Channing Thomas vs. Shane Douglas for Thomas' Alpha Male Championship, Xavier Walker vs Sam Holloway in a Lumberjack Dog Collar Match, Zero Gravity Champion Mark Wheeler vs. Mike Forte vs. Shimbashi and more at Fireman's Park.

Documentary Slowburn Shoot: An Indie Wrestling Story about Ohio's Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW) will screen in Brooklyn, NYC at Nitehawk Cinema tonight at 7PM. There will be a a Q&A with director Adam J. Wilde, Joey Janela, Adam Abdalla, Tracy Williams and more.  The promotion is something special.  

AIW the promotion itself is running Lakewood, Ohio this Friday 6/19 with Tommy Dreamer appearing.

New York Comic Con, which usually has pro wrestling programming including the annual Headlocked Comics panel, which I host, went on sale over the weekend for this October.
