6/13 MLW FUSION REPORT: 2 TITLE MATCHES, A STREET FIGHT, AND MORE

Your announcers are Tom Lawlor and Joe Dombrowski.

We have a video package for tonight’s main event between Matt Riddle and Killer Kross.

Match Number One: KUSHIDA versus Alan Angels for the MLW Middleweight Championship

They lock up and go to a test of strength. KUSHIDA with a leg sweep and wrist lock. Alan with a reversal. KUSHIDA with a wirst lock take down but Alan holds on to the wrist lock. KUSHIDA with a monkey flip and Alan holds on to the wrist lock. KUSHIDA with a reversal but Alan reverses back. They go back and forth with reversals. KUSHIDA misses a clothesline and Alan with an arm wringer.

Alan with a drop kick for a near fall. Alan with a punch and KUSHIDA with a kick and shoulder. KUSHIDA tries to send Alan into the turnbuckles but Alan blocks it and he sends KUSHIDA into the turnbuckles. KUSHIDA Pushes Alan off the turnbuckles and Okumura kicks Alan on the floor. KUSHIDA goes to the floor and he kicks Alan and goes for a Hoverboard lock on the floor but Alan sends KUSHIDA into the apron. They return to the ring and KUSHIDA kicks Alan in the arm. KUSHIDA runs Alan’s fingers along the ropes. He does it again. KUSHIDA with a cravate and snap mare followed by a knee drop for a near fall.

KUSHIDA kicks Alan many times. KUSHIDA goes to the apron and hits a slingshot double stomp and he does it again. Alan moves on the third attempt but KUSHIDA jumps into another double stomp. KUSHDIA with an Irish whip and an elbow into the corner. KUSHDIA runs into a boot. KUSHIDA with a kick and he starts to work more on the arm. Alan with chops and KUSHIDA is not impressed. Alan with more cops and KUSHIDA with a hip toss and cartwheel into a drop kick. Alan with more chops but KUSHIDA with kicks to the arm. Alan with a step over spinning heel kick to KUSHIDA. Alan with a chop into the corner followed by an Irish whip. KUSHIDA sends Alan tot he apron and Alan comes back intot he ring and hits a rebound into a half and half suplex.

Alan goes up top and he hits a frog splash for a near fall. Alan sets for Angel’s Wings but KUSHIDA with kicks and he misses a handspring move. Alan goes for a rebound German suplex but KUSHIDA escapes. KUSHIDA tries to kick Alan in an uncomfortable place but Alan avoids it. Alan with a spinning heel kick. KUSHIDA pushes the referee into Alan and KUSHIDA with an enzuigiri. KUSHDIA goes for a cross arm breaker and he locks it in and Alan has to tap out.

Winner: KUSHIDA (retains championship)

After the match, KUSHIDA takes his time to release the hold.

KUSHIDA gives Okumura a Contra shirt.

Killer Kross says this isn’t the first time they have competed. Nothing about this is going to be the same. There are more stakes involved. The MLW World Championship. The one thing that will be the same is that Matt will go for the choke again, and so will he. There is a non-verbal game they are playing. They both know the choke is coming, but there won’t be anything you can do about it. It is a matter of time. Kross says time is his game and it always has.

Kross says it is a mistake to not take Matt seriously. He likes to joke around, but that is a deception. It is a weapon he uses against you. He has shark eyes, just like him. He likes to joke around, but he likes to hurt people.

Matt Riddle is in the back and Alex Hammerstone shows up and security holds Alex back. There is a lot of yelling going on.

Alex tells Matt to watch his back.

Match Number Two: Matthew Justice versus Josh Bishop in a Chicago Street Fight

Justice throws a trash can at Josh as he approaches the ring. Josh goes for a superplex and he sends Justice near the trash can for a near fall. Josh tries to use the trash can but Justice with a kick and then he drops Josh onto the trash can. Justice with chops and Josh with a forearm and a Black Hole Slam onto the trash can for a near fall. They go to the floor and Josh chops Justice and lawn darts Justice into the ring post. Josh goes under the ring for a table and he sets it up against the guardrails. Justice with a spear into the table. Justice clotheslines Josh over the guardrail into the crowd.

Justice with a flying shoulder tackle over the guardrails. Justice sends Josh into the railing of the bleachers. Justice sends Josh into a table. Justice hits Josh with a table and then he sets up some more tables. Josh with head butts and forearms. Josh sets up a table of his own. Justice hits Josh with a chair. Justice hits Josh again with the chair. Josh falls onto a table. Justice goes into the bleachers for a drink of tequila and then he sets for a frgo splash through the table, but he slips on the railing and he lands short of the table and both are on the floor.

Justice gets a near fall. Justice brings Josh into the bleachers. Justice gets Josh on his shoulders but Josh with elbows and he hits Justice with a chair. Josh gets Justice up for a Razor’s Edge through a table on the floor. Josh uses the table to cover Justice and gets the three count.

Winner: Josh Bishop

We go to commercial.

We are back and in two weeks, MLW Fusion will celebrate its 200th episode.

We are told that Alex Hammerstone has been removed from the building.

We are told about the Southern Crown to pay tribute to the history of wrestling in the south. The title will be determined in a Bunkhouse Stampede in Atlanta.

Match Number Three: Killer Kross versus Matt Riddle for the MLW World Championship

Riddle goes for a waist lock and Kross with a head lock and he goes for the rear naked choke but Matt escapes. Riddle takes his time to lock up with Kross again and he plays to the crowd. They lock up and Riddle goes for the rear naked choke and a body scissors but Kross gets to the ropes. Kross goes for the rear naked choke again but Matt gets to the ropes. Matt runs Kross into the corner and connects with a forearm and Matt celebrates but Kross comes up behind and he punches Matt and connects with a clothesline. Matt goes to the floor and Kross follows.

Kross with punches and forearms on the floor. They return to the ring and Matt goes back to the floor. Matt with forearms to Kross in the ropes and he hits a slingshot senton and he hits a few more back sentons. Matt chokes Kross in the ropes. Kross with punches and Matt with a forearm. Matt with kicks in the corner and he misses the running forearm. Kross with a clothesline in the corner. Matt blocks a suplex and Matt hits a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall. Matt with running forearms into the corner followed by an exploder. Matt with a back senton for a near fall.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Kross and Matt exchange forearms. Matt with a flying arm bar into a cross arm breaker but Kross blocks it. Riddle iwht a kimura. Kross with a suplex to escape. Kross with a clothesline and back elbow. Matt with a cutter and both men are down. Matt goes to the turnbuckles for a Floating Bro and Kross moves and Kross with elbows in the corner. Kross with a Death Valley Driver for a near fall.

Kross with a cutter when Matt misses a clothesline. Kross gets a near fall. Matt with a rollup and bridge for a near fall. Matt with a power bomb and he rolls Kross into a running knee and he gets a near fall. Matt goes up top and he sets for the Floating Bro and he hits it. Matt with a near fall. Kross with a rear naked choke but Matt gets to the ropes. Kross with a Doomsday Saito and he returns to the Kross Jacket. Matt gets to his feet and he drops back and he lays on Kross and gets a near fall. Kross returns to the Kross Jacket and he traps the arm.

Alex Hammerstone attacks Kross and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Karrion Kross (by disqualification) [Retains title]

After the match, Alex with a power slam to Matt. Alex gets in Kross’ face and they exchange punches. Alex with a clothesline. Matt goes for a low blow but Alex blocks it and he sends Matt over the top rope to the floor.

Kross clotheslines Alex over the top rope to the floor.

Matt and Alex continue to brawl at ringside.

Cesar Duran’s comments are interrupted by Contra. The voice asks if you were waiting for someone else? He is gone. You have forgotten that this is a dangerous world. Have you seen how easily they destroyed Mads Krugger?

Cesar and his familia are gone. Contra is here and it is everywhere. They will strike again and again.
