SAMI’S TURN, TURNS IN THE BLOODLINE, I WOULD HAVE FLIPPED THE TAG BELTS AND MORE

Some SD questions for you.

1.  Cody & Sami;  Can we just get on with it at this stage?  The slap should have started a real fight, not a slap fight and then…nothing.  And the stipulation from Gunther does nothing for me, either.  Sami is going to snap, and for me, when he does, it’ll just be anti-climactic.  Thoughts?

I am on the other side here.  I like that they are letting Sami’s turn burn.  He has been a face for so long I am fine with his journey to the dark side.  The turn shouldn’t be sudden.  I also like that Gunther, who has no love for Sami, chose him since Sami has been so combustible lately.

2.  Royce Keys got a nice run of offence during the main event, but I found the crowd lukewarm to some of it.  I like Royce, but is there something missing?  He seemed to lack urgency with some of his movements in the ring at times.

Unless you are someone magnetic like Trick Williams, it takes a whole to get over.  I thought Keys looked great in the match and I am curious to see where they take him.  An offshoot group of him, Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu could be very interesting if they go that way.

3.  I was surprised to see Jey Uso get the nod.  Do you see J’Von Evans getting a big win over Jey in the semi-finals?

I would guess that Jey wins to further what is going on with The Bloodline.  For the first time in a while, The Bloodline stuff got interesting this week thanks to Solo and Jacob Fatu.  If Jacob leaves and joins Keys and Solo, we have an interesting three on three between them and The Bloodline.

4.  I wasn’t keen on Fatal Influence taking another loss.  They could quickly fall into the “ just another faction “ category.  Do you feel they should be protected better, at least for awhile?

I would have pulled the Title switch there, for sure.  Paige and Brie aren’t a long term answer with the Titles, especially when they only teamed up due to Nikki’s injury.  I would have put the belts on the young heels and had the face teams chase them.
