OBA VS. DOM, INFLUENCE ON BOOKING, DARBY ALLIN AND MORE

Oba and Dom, both are future stars...Do you have Dom cheat to win or have Oba crush Dom? Who benefits the most by winning?

Literally the only way that Dom should beat Oba is by heinous cheating.  Anything else would come across as ridiculous.  One way to make it happen would be by having Brock Lesnar cost Oba the match next week.  Then, that would set them up for the third match.  But if the match is straight up? There is no world where Dom should win fairly.

So I read what Dave said about how Oba Femi should destroy Dirty Dom in the KOTR tournament. While I certainly understand his point, and it’s not necessarily wrong, I’m not really one for letting champions get destroyed by anyone. Dom is the AAA Mega Champion. Doesn’t the current AAA champion getting destroyed by Oba reflect negatively on the whole promotion? I can’t imagine Undertaker liking that.

It depends on how you look at it.  To me?  Not at all.  If Oba wanted that Title, if this were a shoot, he could go down and win it tomorrow.  There are different levels of champions.

It seems like most people outside of the most hardcore AEW fanbase have a lot of criticism for Darby Allin (rightfully so) and the risky moves he pulls off in the ring.  But as someone who doesn't watch or really follow most of what happens in AEW, this is what I see. Punk debuts in AEW and one of the first people he calls out is Darby Allin.  Sting decides to end his wrestling career in AEW and he spends most of it teaming with Darby. Mick Foley debuts on AEW TV and the first person he's praising is Darby Allin.  How could this guy NOT think he doesn't need to change what he's doing?

I wouldn’t waste my time trying to get Allin to change.  Clearly, he likes putting himself in really bad places.  If I were Tony Khan, and I wanted him to consider changing, I guess I could point to how his Title run didn’t go well, but I think Khan likes Allin just the way that he is.

Here’s an easy one. Over the years in WWE, who was/is the funniest performer?? Someone who could make his friends fall apart?? My choices are Goldust, Santino Marella, or R-Truth?

Humor is subjective.  One of the funniest things I ever saw on TV was when Sami Zayn told Jey Uso be wasn’t being Usey.  The Rock cracked me up many times.  It all depends on what you find funny.

As I was watching Monday Night Raw (May 11) I chuckled as I watched the Oba Femi segment (I had not read the Q&A for that day), and I immediately remembered you commenting how he should face multiple men (though I searched to find the exact statement, I could not find it). So my question is without being humble (because I know you guys tend to downplay your roles), how much influence do you feel you have on the product? Seems not so coincidental that you mention Oba facing multiple men, and then on Monday Night Raw, that exact thing happens!

I wish I had that kind of influence!  People in WWE definitely monitor PWInsider.com but I don’t think we have much influence on storylines, if we have any at all.  Paul Levesque has been in the business a long time.  He doesn’t need us to tell him how to do his job.
