6/6 MLW FUSION REPORT: TWO TITLE MATCHES, MISTICO VS HILL, KROSS SPEAKS, AND MORE

Your announcers are Joe Dombrowski and Tom Lawlor.

MLW World Champion Killer Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux make their way to the ring.

Kross says he likes being called Blood King of Battle Riot. A lot of people in this position would talk about themselves, but this is a special occasion. He says he wants to talk about this company and the fans.

Some times, it feels like the world moves along without you after you put your time into something. He is living proof that you should not give up on yourself. Life happens and life goes on. There are people in the audience tonight and all over the world who are barely able to afford tickets to the shows, but they come. They might be leaving early from work, driving long distances , or fly here. They make sacrifices.

They make sacrifices to have that feeling with your friends and we are here to give it to you. Everyone in the back is ready to compete for you. It is not about shareholders or tribalism, it is about professional wrestling.

There are some here whose first show in their life or their first MLW show. Kross says welcome to the New Beginning.

Match Number One: Shotzi Blackheart versus Shoko Nakajima for the MLW Featherweight Championship

They shake hands before locking up. Shoko with a waist lock and Shotzi with a side head lock take down. Shoko with a rollup and reversal. Shoko with a wrist lock and Shotzi with a revesal. Shooko with a hammer lock and Shotzi with a side head lock. Ahoko with a take down and a near fall. They lock up and Shoko with a side head lock take down. Shotzi with a head scissors and Shoko escapes and applies a side head lock. Shoko with a rana and she sgets a near fall. Shotzi with an Irish whip but she misses a splash. Shoko goes to the apron and she hits a springboard lsingshot rana and a drop kick. Shotizi with a face bster and a Tiger Feint kick in the corner. Shotzi with a cross body. Shoko goes through the legs and she kicks Shotzi and connects with forearms. Shotzi wiuth a head sutt and Shoko with forearms. Shoko wiuth a snap mare and a back senton for a near fall.

Shoko sends Shotzi into the turnbuckles and apron. Shoko with a hanging DDT and she gets a near fall. Shoko with a kick to the back followed by forearms and elbows. Shotzi with a forearm and Shoko with a kick. Shoko with a sunset flip for a near fall and then she applies a single leg crab. Shotzi gets to the ropes to force a break. Shoko catapults Shotzi’s throat into the rope and then she gets a near fall after an elbow drop. Shoko with a Tiger Feint kick and a suicide dive. Shotiz with a suicide dive of her own. Shotzi goes up tp and she leaps over Shotio and rolls through. Shotzi with a German suplex and after Shoko grabs the ropes, Shotzi with a Tiger suplex for a near fall. Shoko with a forearm and Shotzi charges and Shoko with a leg sweep and a slingshot senton. Shoko goes for a Tiger Feint Kick but Shotzi catches the legs and she applies a Boston Crab. Shoko gets to the ropes to force a break. Shotzi with a running knee and a DDT. Shotzi goes up top and Shoko stops her and hits a rana off the turnbuckles. Shotko goes up top and Shotzi stops her. Shotzi with forearms and she sets for a superplex and hits it.

Shoko and Shotzi exchange forearms and punches. Shotzi with a knee and a rolling elbow. Shoko with a drop kick and ashe misses a Tiger Feint kick but hits a second one. Shoko with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Shoko with a Future Shock DDT and she goes up top and misses a back senton. Shotiz with a kick and a face buster from the shoulders. Shotzi with a back senton for the three count.

Winner: Shotzi Blackheart (new champion)

After the match, Shotzi celebrates her title win and Tom Lawlor joins her in the ring.

Shotzi asks if you feel that. This building is shaking because we went to war. She says she is exhausted and she is fired up. She says she is on top of the damn works right now. Shotko is one of the best in the world. Tonight, Shttzi says she left it all in the ring and won the title.

Tom asks what is next.

Shotzi says it is time to hunt some monsters.

 

Match Number Two: Mistico versus Diego Hill

They have words for each other and then they shake hands before locking up. They lock up and go to a stalemate. Mistico with a kick and side head lock. Mistico and Hill flip around and Hill with a head scissors take down. Mistico goes to the floor and Hill with a Sasake Special. They return to the ring and Hill gets a near fall. Mistico with a chop and kick to the leg. Mistico with a snap mare and kick to the back. Mistico gets a near fall. Mistico with a punch and a back heel kick. Mistico with forearms and he takes Hill to the mat for a near fall. They exchange punches and chops. Hill with chops and Mistico blocks the Irish whip so Hill chops Mistico to the mat. Mistico with kicks to Hill. Hill with a chop.

Mistico with a handspring back elbow and then he is sent to the apron by Hill. Mistico with a kick from the apron and he goes up top for a cross body and connects. Mistico with a head scissors that sends Hill to the floor. Mistico with a suicide dive onto Hill. They return to the ring and Mistico with an elbow drop for a near fall. Mistico with a slam and he goes to the turnbuckles and he hits a swanton and gets a near fall. Mistico stomps on the hand and kicks Hill. Mistico with a kick in the corner.

Mistico with a chop and kick in the corner. Mistico with an Irish whip. Mistico misses a splash and Hill with a springboard spinning back heel kick. Hill with a twisting swanton off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Mistico with a forearm and Hill fires back. They go back and forth. Mistico with a chop and he wants Hill to chop him and Hill obliges and Mistico goes to the mat. Mistico wants a time out and Mistico with a back heel kick. Hill with a round kick. Both men with running boots at the same time and both go down. Hill gets to his feet first. Hill with an enzuigiri and he goes to the apron and turnbuckles. Mistico recover and he kicks Hill a few times. Mistico goes up top and hits Spanish Fly. Mistico with a destroyer and he goes up top and hits a frog splash for the three count.

Winner: Mistico

After the match, Mistico gets the mic and he has something to say.

He tells Diego, it is an honor to be in front of a true legend like Blue Panther. Now it is an honor for them to be here, as Mexican legends to support great young talent like Diego. It was an honor and privilege to step into the ring with a bright young star like Diego. You earned his full respect and recognition from him as well as Blue Panther. Mistico thanks Diego and they shake hands.

He says Diego might have one of the greatsts teachers in the last 45 years, but you were one of the greatest in MLW.

We gp to Rich Bocchini with Austin Aries and Aeries is tossing autographed toritllas to the fans.

Aries corrects Rich on what to call him..

Rich asks about his rivalry with Austin Aries.

Aries says it was one match and Mistico fluked his way into victory. He will get his win back.

He says he is focused on something else. Blue Panther holds the National Openweight Championship and Blue Panther has it around his waist. Aries says that Diego is listening to the wrong people. They are not here to help you, they are here to hold you back. If you want to teach something to your protege, teach him that you have some cajones and put your title on the line against him.

Aries says Diego should be at ringside to see that Blue Panther cannot teach him anything.

We go to the back and KUSHIDA atacks Alan Angels in the back before their match. Okumura joins in the attack.

The match will take place next week.

We take a look at Mads Krugger and his role with Contra.

Rich Bocchini is hesitant to talk to Alex Hammerstone after last week.

He asks for thoughts about Riddle and Kross for the title.

Alex says that sounds great. They are they are fighting for his title so it might as well be two of the biggest stars in MLW. Alex says he should be there. Maybe he needs to make an appearance. He needs to find an office stooge, maybe Rich to help him get a plane ticket, a hotel room, and a ticket for the show.

Match Number Three: Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson versus Bishop Dyer and Donovan Dijak for the MLW Tag Team Championships in a Tables Match

Karl and Doc attack Dyer and Dijak when they make their entrance. The referee starts the match.

Dyer punches Doc and sends him into a table and then the ring post. Dijak and Karl fight to the ring. Doc with a side head lock and they go up the aisle and into the stands. Doc with a punch and he throws a chair at Dyer. Karl and Dijak fight into the crowd as well and Karl with a chop. Doc with a kick to Dyer and Dyer with a knee. Karl sends Dijak into a trash can and he hits Dijak with it. Doc punches Dyer while Karl and Dijak return to ringside. Doc is sent into the merch table, but it did not break.

Karl with a running uppercut to Dijak while Doc and Dyer throw punches and chairs. Karl and Dijak go back into the ringside area as well as Doc and Dyer. Doc throws a chair at Dyer’s head.

Doc goes under the ring for a table becaue there aren’t enough already out. Karl does the same. Dijak punches Doc in the aisle. Dijak sends Doc into the ring post. Karl is in the ring and he turns into a super kick from Dijak. Dyer sends Karl to the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Dyer and Dijak set up some tables in the ring. Dyer throws a chair at Doc and it bounces off his head and is caught by Lawlor on commentary. More tables are set up in the ring. Dyer drops Karl on the guardrail and he sends him into the ring. Dijak hits Doc with a drink. Dyer punches Karl and they set for a double choke slam and Karl escapes and he punches both men. Karl with a European uppercut to Dyer and a punch to Dijak. Karl is sent to the apron and Dijak with a boot to send him to the floor. Doc with uppercuts to Dijak and Dyer. Doc grabs both men by the throat and they escape. They return the favor and send Doc through the table.

Doc Gallows eliminated

Karl gets back on the apron while Dijak and Dyer play to the crowd instead of trying to win the match. Dijak gets caught on the ropes and he kicks Dijak. Karl with an uppercut to Dijak and Dijak with a knee. Karl sends a charging Dyer through a table in the corner.

Bishop Dyer eliminated

Karl with punches and Dijak punches back. Karl with elbows to escape a chokes slam. Karl with a bicycle kick and Dijak avoids going through the table. Dyer grabs Karl’s ankle and that allows Dijak to send Karl through the table.

Winners; Bishop Dyer and Donovan Dijak (retain championship)

After the match, Dyer and Dijak celebrate their victory. Gallows sends Dijak to the floor and Anderson punches Dyer. They also go to the floor. Anderson and Dyer fight to the entrance. Gallows and Dijak fight through the crowd.
