8 - YOH vs. Master Wato
Another good match. YOH worked over Wato's arm and applied the Anaconda Vice. Wato fights to his feet. YOH hits a reverse STO and reapplies the Anaconda Vice. Wato taps out.
YOH advances to the Finals of the Best of the Super Jr. 33
It will YOH vs. Kosei Fujita in the Finals, which is a rematch of the Finals of the Best of the Super Jr. 32.
YOH and Kosei Fujita have never held the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship. The current champion, DOUKI, refused to compete in the BOSJ 33 saying he is the Champion and should not have to be in the tournament. DOUKI has the House of Torture in his back pocket, so YOH and Fujita will have to overcome those odds. Last year, Fujita won the BOSJ 32, but lost his title match to El Desperado, who was the champion at that time. Fujita seems to be the best one to take down DOUKI, who has held the title since October 2025. If Fujita wins BOSJ 33, it is time to put the belt on Fujita.
