PHILLY STREET FIGHT AND MORE: 5/27 AEW COLLISION REPORT

By Cory Strode on 2026-05-27 23:37:00

AEW Collision is live from the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, PA, immediately following Dynamite. Our commentary team is Excalibur, Taz, and Tony Schiavone.

Renee Paquette and Don Callis are in the ring with Mark Davis. Don Callis says he hopes Will Ospreay was watching because Davis will put him on the shelf next week. He says Ospreay was never the chosen one, and neither was Konosuke Takeshita. According to Callis, the only chosen one is Kyle Fletcher.

Kyle Fletcher comes to the ring and says people are wondering how he returned so quickly. He says it’s because he’s a genetic anomaly and is officially cleared for in-ring action as of today. He says another reason he pushed himself to come back was because he wanted to cut loose the dead weight of the Don Callis Family. Fletcher says that once he was sidelined, Takeshita did what he always does — what benefits himself. Fletcher says Takeshita never cared about the family or about him.

Fletcher says he wanted to run the company alongside Takeshita, but that won’t happen now because Takeshita is selfish.

This brings out Konosuke Takeshita, accompanied by The Conglomeration. They head to the ring, and Davis, Callis, and Fletcher immediately back off. Takeshita grabs a microphone and says he got his title back, and now he wants Kyle Fletcher.

In the back, Will Ospreay congratulates Mark Davis and reflects on their history together. He then notices the Death Riders and wishes PAC good luck, but PAC ignores him.

Will Ospreay, Jon Moxley, and PAC vs. The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz, Myron Reed, and Dezmond Xavier)

Moxley and PAC attack Reed and Wentz before the bell, brawling with them on the floor while Ospreay and Xavier begin with quick, high-flying exchanges in the ring. Ospreay gains the upper hand and tags in PAC, while Wentz tags in for his side.

PAC lands a hip toss and tags in Moxley. Wentz fires off machine-gun chops, but Mox responds with a back elbow and a chop of his own. Mox tags Ospreay back in, and The Rascalz isolate him in their corner with quick tags and double-teams.

Reed and Wentz dive onto Mox and PAC as the show goes to picture-in-picture.

When the show returns to full screen, Ospreay is still playing the babyface in peril. He finally breaks free with a springboard knee strike and a back body drop on Reed before tagging in PAC, who cleans house. PAC gets a two-count on Reed and tags in Mox.

Mox, PAC, and Ospreay deliver “forever” splashes in the corner to Reed, and Mox follows with a cutter. Ospreay and PAC send Xavier and Wentz to the floor before diving onto them.

Mox hits a piledriver on Reed for two. Reed counters with a roll-up for two and then lands a cutter, but immediately runs into a lariat from Moxley. Ospreay tags in and comes off the top with a stomp. The tag team siren sounds, chaos breaks out, and all six men brawl before the Death Riders lock in submissions simultaneously. Ospreay’s juji-gatame forces Reed to tap out.

Winners: Will Ospreay, Jon Moxley, and PAC

In the back, Samoa Joe, Hook, Anthony Bowens, and Katsuyori Shibata are together. Joe talks about the opportunities in front of them. He says he has to step away for Hollywood commitments and expects them to hold things down while he’s gone. Joe exits, and Hook takes center stage.

We then get a video recap of the feud between Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida.

Lexi Nair catches up with Divine Dominion, who say they just won their latest match in 30 seconds. Lexi then discovers that Tay Melo and Anna Jay have been attacked backstage.

Andrade El Idolo vs. Ace Austin

They lock up, with Andrade controlling early via a headlock. Andrade lands a shoulder tackle for two. Ace Austin answers with a drop toe hold for two and follows with an arm drag. They trade waistlocks and run the ropes as the show goes to picture-in-picture.

When the show returns, the two are exchanging strikes. Andrade forces Ace into the corner, but Ace dodges a charge. Andrade knocks Ace down and sends him to the floor before hitting a tornillo dive. Andrade then takes a selfie with a fan in the front row before rolling Ace back into the ring for a two-count.

Ace gets a roll-up for two and follows with a knee strike, a side suplex, and a leaping leg drop. Ace teases a deep squat, but Andrade escapes out the back.

They battle in the corner, where Ace hits a tijeras takedown from the top rope. Ace follows with a deep squat Death Valley Driver for two. Ace puts Andrade on the top rope, but Andrade counters with a powerbomb from the top.

Andrade misses the double knees in the corner, and Ace lands a spinning kick from the second rope. Ace calls for The Fold, but Andrade counters with a back elbow and the Message (The Message/DM) for the pin.

Winner: Andrade El Idolo

Kris Statlander vs. Hikaru Shida — Lights Out Philly Street Fight

Shida swings a kendo stick, but Kris kicks it away and immediately starts beating her down. Shida is knocked out of the ring. Kris follows with a jumping knee strike to the floor. They brawl around ringside until Kris rolls Shida back into the ring and grabs a chair.

Shida takes the chair away and nails Kris with it before placing it on top of her. Kris recovers, grabs Shida, and catapults her into the chair.

Shida is whipped hard into the corner, and Kris charges into her. Shida grabs the kendo stick and unloads on Kris. They fight to the floor, where Shida throws Kris into the barricade and lands ten punches on top of it. Shida stuffs an apple into Kris’s mouth and kicks her with a roundhouse.

Kris answers with a powerbomb from the apron. They fight onto the stage and then into the backstage area.

Shida places a guardrail across a chair, but Kris reverses the momentum and suplexes Shida onto the barricade as the show goes to picture-in-picture.

When the show returns, Kris lands a superplex from the top rope onto a pile of chairs. Both women slowly get to their feet. Kris swings a chair against Shida’s kendo stick and wins the exchange. Kris lands a Blue Thunder Bomb for two.

Kris places Shida onto a pile of chairs and climbs to the top rope, but misses a moonsault. Shida immediately follows with a Meteora for two. They trade forearms and kicks before Shida hits a Falcon Arrow for another near-fall.

Kris suddenly pops back to her feet and throws a chair at Shida.

Kris goes under the ring and sets up a table while Shida arranges several chairs. Kris circles the ring, but Shida catches her with a drop toe hold into the chairs. Moments later, Kris counters with a Death Valley Driver onto the chairs.

Kris pulls out a bundle of light tubes, and Shida begs her not to use them. Kris teases it, then puts them away — only for Shida to rake her eyes.

Shida rolls Kris into the ring, grabs the kendo stick, and then retrieves the light tubes herself. Shida hits a Falcon Arrow onto the tubes for a dramatic near-fall at two.

Shida continues the assault with the kendo stick and wraps a chair around Kris’s head. Kris retaliates by throwing the chair at Shida. They battle on the apron until the kendo stick snaps. Kris jabs the broken stick into Shida’s head and then hits Saturday Night Fever from the apron through the table.

Kris rolls Shida back into the ring.

Harley Cameron suddenly runs down to ringside and hands Kris another kendo stick. Kris blasts Shida with it and then hits Saturday Night Fever again in the ring for the pin.

Winner: Kris Statlander
