CZW “BEYOND the Limit”

5/16/26 Worcester, MA

Wrestivus’ 2nd show of the day brings CZW up from New Jersey. 

Match 1: Brando Lee vs Daron Richardson vs Excess Jr vs Tyler Jordan vs Miles Penn vs Cosmic vs Handyman Jake Gray (Aerial Assault Match)

Doesn’t Jake Gray still have a broken f***ing jaw??? Maniac. Welcome back! Jordan tries to talk down to everyone and Cosmic slaps the taste out of his mouth. This AA match looks to be a wild 7-way scramble! Richardson with the first dive to the floor in less than a minute and the party has started! Cosmic tries to come off the giant box on the corner but Tyler ain’t having it. Jake throws hands with Excess and hits a coffin drop off the box! Excess tries to follow suit but wrecks his leg on the mat. Brando focuses on that limb as Excess screams in pain. Jake grabs a chair and sabu’s excess! He breaks the chair over Brandos back! We have a ladder! Double stomp to Brando off the ladder! Tyler starts swinging this heavy wooden ladder around. Daron with a tornado ddt! Penn joins the fray and gets a near fall off a spinebuster! The chaos continues and as the name implies, everyone is flying in from everywhere trying to get the final word in. Cosmic and Excess grapple as Jake brings in a barbed wire ladder. He wraps Excess in the ladder and drops senton after senton until the ladder breaks under the repeated impact. Brando catches Jake with a DVd into the barbed wire! Kick out! Brando misses a moonsault and crashes bare chested right into the wires! Oh noooooooo. Cosmic climbs the box and cross bodies Tyler for two! Tyler feigns like he’s gonna climb the box but of course he won’t. Cosmic kicks him low. Brando pummels him with a chair! Lee winds up and a running capo kick KO’s Tyler Jordan for the three! Exciting stuff throughout this!

Ring crew gets rid of the box platform. No more dangerous stuff for the rest of the show, right? 

Match 2: Amira vs Akira

The psycho samurai vs the tower of power! Akira starts strong against Amira, she is throwing shots but Akira is throwing everything into his return fire. Amira trying to toss him repeatedly but Akira is able To power through some of this. Amira is able to hit a cannonball for two! That said, Akira is fresh today and Amira just went through that contest with Andy Brown earlier in the day. Akira slaps on a leg lock but Amira is able to drag it to the ropes. Akira whiffs a meteroa…Amira pounces. Big lariats! Northern Lights! Big German with a bridge! Trading shots and they stagger each other! Akira with one last slam and Amira is down for the second time today. They shake hands, good mutual respect after that one.

Match 3: Myles Hawkins vs Cappuccino Jones

Hawkins grabs the mic and runs Gabe Sapolsky a mean streak about booking mediocre mid-looking talent and getting kicked off of Tubi. Jones goes right on the attack to defend the honor of WWE ID. Jones with a crossbody sends the fight to the floor! Hawkins with a leaping double stomp as Jones comes running and he stares a hole through Gabe. This is ALLLLLLL for Gabe. Jones taking a beating but he reverses a suplex and tosses Hawkins to the floor again! Jones with a pair of dropkicks leave Myles limp against the buckles. Sitout slam for two! Hawkins tries a moonsault but eats feet! Jones tries to go up but Hawkins catches him on the top…super jackhammer!!!!! Kick out! Hawkins with a snap dragon and a hard right hand allllmost gets it done. Myles with another double stomp and a flying back kick to the head puts the lights out and Jones is down for the three! Hawkins makes sure the ref raises his arm in victory right in front of the WWE ID table. 

Match 4: Miracle Generation (Kylon King & Dustin Waller) vs Lucky 13 & Angel Metro

This is the heelish Miracle Generation we know and hate. And Kylin takes offense at having to start against Metro. And so she beats him up. Waller takes his shot but Lucky 13 is hanging with the speed sensation much easier than expected. Kylin finally cuts this off and MG starts to work 13 over with tag team combos and deep stretches. The crowd noticing Waller’s

Green ranger gear and dubbing him “Temu Tommy” through this. Metro makes the save and she spikes Kylon to get the three.

Match 5: Troy Parker vs TJ Crawford

Crawford here to throw those hard kicks….but Parker bowls him over early and shows that he can throw torpedos like this as well. Crawford seems way off his game as Parker dismantles him with his own playbook. TJ finally connects with a knee and starts throwing those, cracking into Parker’s chest over and over. Troy’s air is gone as Crawford puts the boots to him. Parker suddenly pops him…tosses into the top rope and rebound right into a German. Jesus that impact. TJ hits a feint kick and a deadlift German for two! Parker dodges another kick and lands a head kick that stiffens TJ. The follow up GTS does the job and Parker gets the three! This was a GOOD DAMN FIGHT. 

Match 6: Desean Pratt vs Ichiban 

Pratt doesn’t quite know what to do with Ichiban’s incessant “ichibannnnn”-ing. But Ichiban uses that discomfort to run through his playbook of high flying action. Pratt finally grounds him and unloads kicks and shots to the face and spine. Ichiban may be a legend in Worcester but he is still a man with a punchable face. Ichiban manages to reverse a suplex and start to roll again. A jawbreaker stuns Desean! Missile dropkick connects! He sets up for the Ichi Bankai! Pratt has it scouted but Ichi hits a quick suplex for one! I mean, two. He whiffs a 111.  They trade kicks and rollup attempts until Desean catches Ichiban one last time, hooks him tight and gets the three! “GOOD STUFF” says Pratt. He tells Ichiban the story about how he went viral back in the day when he wore a mask…but no one signed him or cared because no one knew who he was. The former Amasis says “I been where you are!” - Ichiban has the mic…”Ichiban Number One”.

Match 7: Anthony Gangone vs Aaron Rourke

Rourke is used to being the one that has his opponent off-kilter early but Gangone is out-weirding the Evolve champ early. Everything Rourke has in his Arsenal, Gangone has a painful answer for. Rourke finally hits a rana off the top and starts rolling. A hard knee shot and a meteora into the buckles almost puts the lights out. Gangone pulls his face mask on and it’s a little like Popeyes spinach, he starts going into full killer mode and tries a mandible claw on the top rope….Rourke shoves him off and hits the Molly go round for the win!

Main Event: Eran Ashe(c) vs Rickey Shane Page (Deathmatch for the CZW world heavyweight championship)

Ashe is a TANK. RSP is hurting himself trying some of these early shoulder blocks. Rickey starts throwing hands and that has better results. Page starts to fill the ring with f***ery. Doors and kendo sticks and chairs abound. I see a barbed wire bat in there too? Ashe bowls over Rickey and goes for THAT immediately. Eran rakes that bat across Page’s face and we have a crimson mask early. Rickey rallies and hits a neckbreaker through a chair! Ashe just slams RSP into the wreckage of that steel. He wants to put RSP through a door…Page dodges! Top rope splash! Ashe kicks out! Both guys are DONE with the other and start throwing hard chops and forearms back and forth. Eran with the uranage…kick out! RSP blasts him with a computer keyboard! He sets up a door table! He goes for a moonsault into the door! Troy Parker runs down and distracts RSP….Ashe breaks a crutch on Rickey..,bombs Rickey through the door and a Rikishi Driver gets the three. Noooooo! Parker and Ashe look to finish Rickey entirely…Akira runs down with a kendo stick and drives them off!
