Welcome to PWInsider.com's live, ongoing coverage of TNA Thursday Night Impact on AMC from Sacramento, CA.

They opened with a video package on Cedric Alexander vs. Leon Slater.

Matthew Rehwoldt and Tom Hannifan are our announcers.

Battle Royal to crown new top contender for TNA Championship

Mustafa Saed of The Gangstas was a surprise competitor, coming out with a trash can full of weapons.  He nailed Bear Bronson with a trash can but was quickly dumped out.  The crowd booed that.

Dutch and Special Agent Zero battled but were forced over.  Zero began trashing ringside.

Mr. Elegance tossed BDE, only to be tossed by Home Town Man.  HTM then tricked Brian Myers to go over the top.

John Skyler and Vincent were next out, then Jason Hotch.

Kazarian was out, but grabbed Elijah from the outside,  Bronson and Eddie Edwards went to attack Elijah but he sent them over the top.

Eric Young and Elijah were the final competitors.  They battled outside on the apron, exchanging chops and strikes.  Elijah was knocked off the apron after a low blow.

Your winner, Eric Young!

Very much a rudimentary battle royal.

Gia Miller interviewed X-Division Champion Leon Slater.  If he can get past Cedric Alexander tonight, he will officially become the longest reigning champion in TNA history.  He said being the youngest is legacy and history.  Tonight is a chance to draw the line between who he has and who he will become.  He's going from the youngest to the greatest.  The Hardys arrived.  Matt Hardy said tonight, Leon cements his legacy as a legend.

Mustafa Ali berated the members of Order4 for not winning the battle royal.  His TNA International Championship challenge continues next week.

After they left, Eric Young stormed the scene.  He said Joe Hendry, Ricky Sosa and EC3 are all gone next to him and now Mike Santana has drawn the short straw.

TNA Knockouts Champion Lei Ying Lee made her way to the ring.  She said last week was the best night of her life and she's overjoyed to be champion.  Xia Brookside came out and knocked her.  Lee said something in Chinese.  Brookside said she's not translating for her anymore.  Lee said she would fight her right now in Sacramento.  Brookside said she wouldn't fight her in a cesspool like California.  Brookside said she destroyed her emotionally and mentally already but soon she will beat her physically for the title.

Eddie Edwards said they took out Moose and no one knows if or when he will return.  Brian Myers said Moose was weak and they broke him.  Cedric said tonight is all about the X-Division title.

They plugged the forthcoming film Over My Dead Body.  Former MMA star Keith Jardine was at ringside and interviewed by Gia Miller as he's in the film.  He promoted the film as The Conceirge and the Elegance Brand came out.  They said Jardine was jealous of Mr. Elegance.  Jardine said it makes him want to puke.  He told the "gang of hos" to get out of here.  Mr. Elegance stepped to him but before they could go at it, security intervened and the Elegance Brand was backed up.

KC Navarro vs. AJ Francis - Street Fight

Chris Caray – a fourth-generation MLB play-by-play TV announcer for the Athletics and the great-grandson of Baseball Hall of Famer Harry Caray joined the announcers.

They battled on the floor.  Navarro used a kick and went for a table but was drilled by behind from Francis, who put the table back under the ring.   They battled into the ring.  Navarro nailed a head scissors that sent Francis to the floor.  He went for a tope but was caught, but was able to transition it into a swinging DDT.   Navarro set up a table on the floor.  Francis tried to put him through it but Navarro slipped away.  Francis sent him into the ring steps.

Francis wanted to hit the Down Payment through the table but Navarro escaped and hit Francis with a chair.    When they returned from commercial, Francis forcibly took a baseball bat from Caray but Navarro was able to gain possession and drilled him in the gut,  Navarro put on batting helmet and nailed Francis with the bat again, this time from the ropes.  Navarro placed a trash can between Francis' legs and drilled it with a dropkick after "running the bases."

Navarro nailed a Famouser for a two count.  He set up several chairs and superkicked Francis onto them.  He went to the ropes but Francis recovered and nailed him with the bat.  He went for a Down Payment off the top but Navarro turned it into a cutter for a two count.  That should have been the finish.   Francis killled Navarro with a big boot.  He hit the Down Payment, throwing KC over the top to the floor, smashing him through two tables.  It looked brutal.   Francis covered him and pinned Navarro.

Your winner, AJ Francis!

This was a very good brawl.

TNA Champion Mike Santana made his grand entrance through the crowd.  Where he comes from, he was taught to let his actions do his talking.  That's what brought him to the TNA title.  He said we have a new challenger.  Eric Young is a former champion and is a foundational member of this company but since he's come to TNA Santana has beat everyone, so Young better be coming with something different.  He may have built this place but Santana is the man who holds down the fort every week.

Daria came out and said that since Santana never beat Steve Maclin at Sacrifice, he's going to be the next challenger, next week for the title.  Santino Marella came out and said that's a big money match and he likes it but he has his own announcements.  He announced Indi Hartwell has just re-signed with TNA.  He praised Santana and Lee as champions.  Daria said he was knocking his daughter losing a title.  Santino said he loves his daughter Ariana Grace but Stacks has ruined her mind.  He wants to fight Stacks.  Daria mocked the idea.  Santana said he's had enough of this.  No matter who he faces, he's taking them out.

The injury report - Trey Miguel has a broken kneecap and is out.  Moose is dealing with head and hip injuries.  EC3 is out with neck injuries.  KC Navarro and AJ Francis are under evaluation.

Mila Moore & Victoria Crawford with Tessa Blanchard vs. Rosemary & Allie with Mara Sade

Moore and Rosemary start.  Rosemary bit her.  Allie then bit her as Rosemary was reprimanded by the referee.    Allie took control and nailed a series of moves in the corner.  Tessa tried to get involved, which allow Mila to nail Allie.  Crawford tagged in and worked over Allie.  Allie comes back with a neckbreaker on Moore.   She makes a hot tag to Rosemary, who cleans house.  Crawford is caught with an inverted DDT but Moore breaks up the pinfall attempt.  Allie and Rosemary do stereo hanging armbars.  Tessa tries to interfere but is nailed by Sade.  Allie hits Moore with a DVDR on the floor.  Rosemary hits a sit-out powerbomb on Crawford for the pin.

Your winners, Rosemary and Allie!

The Broken Hardys cut a promo promising to make The Righteous obsolete.

TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater vs. Cedric Alexander - Best of Three Falls

They battled fast and furious right out of the gate.  Slater tried for a Styles Clash.  Cedric slipped out and went for a Lumbar Check but Slater rolled through and pinned him.

The winner of Fall One, Leon Slater.

After the commercial break, Alexander was back in control.  They showed Cedric nail a German suplex on the floor from the commercial break.  Alexander drilled him with a knee to the spine for a two count.  Slater fired back but was chopped down to the mat and covered for a two count.   Slater came back with a series of clotheslines and drilled Alexander in the corner.  Slater went to the top but missed a move. Slater's back was bothering him.  Slater countered the Lmbar Check again and went to the top for a flying bodypress for a two count.

They continued to battle. Slater was bleeding from the nose.  Slater nailed a running boot.   Alexander caught him with The Lumbar Check and scored the pin.

The winner of Fall Two, Cedric Alexander.

They are tied up.

When they returned, Slater sent Alexander up and over to the apron, then kicked him to the floor.  Slater hit a huge dive over the ring post to the floor, taking out Alexander.   They battled to the top.  Alexander went for a rana but but was caught and hit with a Styles Clash off the ropes for a close two count.    Slater went to the top but Alexander knocked him off, with Slater's knee getting caught in the ropes on the way down.  Cedric sent Slater into the ring steps on the floor.  Slater was bleeding, so blood has returned to TNA.

Alexander sent him back to the ring.  Slater surprised him with a small package for a two count.  Alexander nailed him with a brainbuster for a two count.   Alexander kept working over Slater and nailed another Lumbar Check but the champ kicked out at the last second.  Slater surprised Alexander with a Blue Thunder Bomb, and spent, fought his way to the top.  He went for the swanton 450 splash but Alexander rolled out of the way.  Alexander nailed a Lumbar Check, then another.  Alexander scored the pin.

Your winner and new X-Division Champion Cedric Alexander!

TNA signed off when music hit and Fabian Aichner walked out.  He declared he was in TNA and called out Cedric.
