After hearing you and Mike on the audio show, I have realized that I have a responsibility as an Elite member to not only financially support you, but to offer content as well ????. I shall endeavour to fulfill my duties in a responsible manner. Onto the questions!
LOL, actually you don’t have the responsibility but I do like your questions so thanks for sending them.
Just finished watching SD, a bit of a mixed bag for me.
It was indeed.
1. Six Woman Tag; well worked, with multiple storyline branches both before and after the match. Fatal Influence needed to win that match, 100%. I thought the announcers did a good job of making sure we all knew who the new ladies were and highlighting possible cracks in the armour of the other team. Thoughts?
They have pushed Fatal Influence extremely well on their arrival and I too like that they are weaving a lot of women into the overall picture. Props to the established women for their role in helping to make the new stars.
2. Ripley/Legend staredown; I love it when they plant seeds like that, and it works so well when done with a character the fans really care about, like Rhea.
And everyone should be coming after her since she is the champ so I liked it too. Everyone should want the top Title.
3. Jade’s return: Unexpected, but logical, as the former champ is going to have a beef. And now, her trio has issues with Bliss, Flair and Rhea all in one shot. More storylines, and I also think it’s a good thing as Jade’s side can occupy the babyface trio, and they can circle back to the issues with Fatal Influence at another time.
Jade should be pissed that she lost so the attack made perfect sense. It’s nice that B-Fab and Michin are getting a rub as well. So far, so good.
4. The Usos: As you guys discussed on audio, they are looking like errand boys yet again for Roman, this time with Royce Keys. And once again, they look like dicks. Is their behaviour a red herring, or is a turn happening?
Yep, I hated that 100 percent. I get that Roman hasn’t asked them to do it, like he did when he was lording over them, but the Usos should not be Roman’s messengers, especially against Jacob. Why shouldn’t Jacob go for the gold? Everyone should want to go for the gold unless they vow to be his lapdog. Why should Jacob respect Roman when he was left on the outside looking in while Roman was running the place?
5. Royce Keys: I like that he’s getting to interact with people like the Usos, as I feel it improves his perception with the fans insomuch that he’s gotten their attention, so he must be important. Overall, I think Keys is being put in a position to succeed and I’m enjoying it. What say you?
I like how they pushed him so far too. I like that he has a bond with Jacob (I am writing this Saturday morning so hopefully Royce doesn’t turn at the PPV). I want him to resist Solo’s offer. I like the story that they are telling him coming from where he did and an alliance with Jacob could make for some good storytelling.
6. I’ve said this before, but I’m absolutely loving Danhausen. One of the bigger reasons is that he’s been a ton of fun and I’m genuinely happy for him. With all the recent releases and bloodletting, I hope he makes some really good money for however long he’s there. Is he growing on you at all?
He has grown on me, yes, because in WWE I have gotten to see what the character is. It’s goofy, for sure, but the fans love it and that’s what matters.
And, no question about The Gingerbread Man? It was a stupid segment, for sure, but that’s what I expected. At the end, I didn’t hate it and it surprised me that I didn’t. I thought Yachty’s facials were awesome.
