They need to do something with Mr. Iguana and Danhausen, now that would be funny.
That could be hilarious, for sure.
I am thinking with the Oba Femi open challenge the best approach would be for no one to answer the challenge. It would establish how he is so dominant that everyone in the back is scared of him. What do you think if they go with that?
That is the only thing that will make any sense. Oba just killed Brock Lesnar. What sane person would go out and test him? I think they either have to have no one answer him or it has to be delusional people. If it’s the latter, it can’t go too long.
You made a comment about the ESPN/WWE potentially being a mistake a ESPN's part, so you know if Peacock lost subscribers after WWE left? Have they released any numbers? I love the Tour de France and the Olympics, so I'll be with Peacock until those are somewhere else.
I haven’t checked the numbers since WWE left so I can’t comment on that but I do know that NBCU thought WWE was expendable once they grabbed the NBA, and I think they are right. The only way I could watch Game 6 of The Celtics-Sixers was on Peacock for example. With the other mainstream sports that they have, they felt that WWE was expendable at the price that ESPN offered and I don’t disagree with them.
I enjoyed most of Monday's Raw until the Roman Reigns' diatribe at the end. He spent a few early minutes essentially burying the title he CHOSE to fight for (and win) at WrestleMania after winning the Rumble. Why? How is the audience supposed to treat WWE's other big belt with respect if they don't do so themselves. WWE decided to combine the belts at WrestleMania 38 and then create a new title, the audience never demanded that. WWE decided to (semi) split the rosters with Raw and Smackdown years ago, the audience never demanded that. And now the guy who won that title, in the biggest match - at the biggest show of the year, is telling me the belt he now holds didn't matter for the last 3 years until this exact moment. (Not to mention him saying WWE suffered without him on top the last 2 years....yet he was a part timer). This screams of "selfish, short term pop over long term, collecting booking". Thoughts?
I didn’t like the promo at all. Roman shouldn’t be a heel at this point. He doesn’t have to be a pure babyface, but he shouldn’t be a dick either, and he was a dick at Raw. I think HHH needs to remember what started the boom period, characters with clear roles. The complex tweener stuff he does falls flat for me.
