Spotlight Match: Oxx Adams vs All Go Nelli

Nelli attacks right out the gate but Oxx slams him down. That’s the story. Nelli tries to get ANYTHING going and Oxx smashes him. Nelli flies into a sitout chokebomb for the three. 

Match 1: The Haven (Jay Onyx & Shawn Knyte) vs The Vibe (Sammy Diaz & Mani Ariez w/ Brother Greatness)

A few weeks back, Haven scored a win over Shooter Boys after they capitalized on a run-in distraction by the Verdict. Time to see if they can make it two in a row without unintended shenanigans. The match itself is a good workrate contest between the teams. Onyx gets trapped and eats a blue Thunder bomb for the pinfall. 

Haven is clearly bummed out by the loss but the Vibe shows them all the respect. Greatness on the mic. The Vibe wants a closure to their conflict with Tyler Jordan & Christian Darling. So next week? It’s a STREET FIGHT!

Match 2: DJ Powers vs Eye Black Jack

Powers is looking for payback for Jack knocking him out of the title tournament on Monday. Powers stays on top for a lot of this but Jack is taking some swipes at gettig the chain around DJ’s neck that has proven to be a difference maker lately. Jack starts making a comeback, he hits a last ride and a top rope splash but DJ kicks out! Jack gets the chain! DJ tries a low block but EBJ is ready to stop that. We have less than a minute and DJ runs for it….and successfully runs out the clock on the match for the time limit draw. 

Cash McGuiness debuted on Monday. Tonight, he brings his tag partner in too and they decide to call out Pedro Dones. Dones clearly needs a tag partner…so he brought WWE Evolve Champion Aaron Rourke with him! 

Match 3: The Breadwinners (Patrick Wheatman & Cash McGuiness) vs We-vil Gay (Pedro Dones & Aaron Rourke)

To these kids credit, they look properly terrified at the introduction of Rourke to match. They exhibit a ton of unearned confidence in the face of the whipping they receive. Cash lasts MUCH longer than Monday and even gets some offense in after distracting the ref. But it’s short lived and Rourke destroys Wheatman with a Molly go round for the three. 

Aaron hypes up the WWE ID involvement at Wrestivus weekend in a few weeks. Dones? He is running a “beat the clock” challenge next week for the choice of stipulation in their next match. He plans to send BRG packing. Ox Adams comes out and destroys them both, says the catchphrase and leaves them laying.

Match 4: Stetson Ranch (Steven Stetson, Danny Miles & Brian Morris) vs Ichiban, Brando Lee & Bear Bronson

The unraveling of then Stetson Ranch continues. Stetson leaves most of the work to his Ranchhands and you can sense his disappointment as they are constantly proven inadequate. The only time the ranch is on top, is when Stetson himself has intervened. The match is long but this is the story. Everyone around Steven fails him. Tonight, Bobby kicks Morris in the head (again) and eats a sitout chokebomb for the three. Morris gets in Bobby’s face after but Casale shoves him down and storms off. Stetson is running out of friends.

Gabby Forza is here to make an announcement! It’s HUGE NEWS! On May 14th, there will be a tournament for the inaugural Wrestling Open Women’s Champion! And Gabby WILL be in it! She also has some COOL NEWS! She brings out Lauren St. James…LSJ is here to announce that she’s graduated from the BIOPro school. But she doesn’t feel like she EARNED that shirt because she’s been injured for the past year. But…Wrestling Open has officially cleared her to return to the ring! Lauren is sobbing as she thanks Gabby for her encouragement…At that moment, Kylie Alexa hits the ring and blindsides them. Lauren fights her back but Kylie wraps up that arm in the rings of Saturn. Alexa runs off with the mic and says SHE will be the first Open champ. May 14th…that’s at the Wrestivus, yes?

Match 5: Rain Conway vs Joseph Alexander

Oh. This is gonna go so well for Rain. A-Game handles Rain for a LOT of this. Conway tricks Alexander into the buckles and has a brief moment of hope with a rear naked choke. Problem is: Rain doesn’t box well. And Joseph punches the f*** out of him in the standup. Rain is staggered and a running knee puts the lights out for three. Fun little scrap/murder here.

Main Event: Big Business (Big Bacon Brad Hollister & Love Doug) vs Miracle Generation (Dustin Waller & Kylon King) (for the Wrestling Open Tag Team Championships)

The champs start it off hot, maybe MG forgot what it was like to be champions after so long? Waller and King slowly start to take control on Brad, knocking Doug down and away to keep the rally going. Doug finally gets the hot tag but bacon isn’t able to help when they hit a 3D into the top rope on Cupid Douglas. They keep Brad grounded and run the same playbook as before on Doug. It’s an even longer period of punishment for a Doug but he finally kicks them both off and gets the tag to a refreshed Hollister. Brad lays them both out. They go for Business is Booming but Dustin slips it into a Lethal Injection. King with a moonsault for two! Waller puts on the durag noooooo! Bacon trips up the lethal injection. Doug hits slice of love. Bacon avoids a doomsday but a ref bump leads Doug to get DOUBLE kicked in the junk. Bacon makes the save! They try the power plex but Bacon bombs King out of there. 3D!!!!!! Dustin makes the save! Ref Bill is dropped again! He tries to low kick Bacon…no. Ky tosses in the title belt…Dustin cracks him and makes the cover!!! Bill tries to count…it’s a slow one and Bacon barely makes it! Doug starting to stir on the floor! They try the knee collision but Bacon dodges. Doug flies in there and King easts a rebound! Dustin tossed back and rolls out to the floor as Kylon is hit with Business is Booming! 1, 2, 3! Big Business retains!!!

Waller is furious and slides in to low blow both champs. King is out in the first row of chairs as Waller looks to imprint the title belts into Doug and Brad. Joseph Alexander runs down and makes the save! “I didn’t forget. We have some unfinished business.” Alexander wants Flash next week.
