WWE STARS VISIT NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE WITH THE USO

WWE SUPERSTARS TAMA TONGA, TONGA LOA, TAILA TONGA, JC MATEO AND MICHIN JOINED THE USO FOR A SPECIAL VISIT TO NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE AHEAD OF WRESTLEMANIA

The Wrestling Stars Also Made an Appearance at Coral Academy of Science for a Special “Purple Up Day” Assembly

Arlington, VA, April 20, 2026 — On April 15, the USO and Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas hosted a special event featuring WWE superstars Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Taila Tonga, JC Mateo and Michin. The wrestlers were invited to the base ahead of WrestleMania to learn more about the Nellis mission, visit units with service members, and meet the airmen and their families. During their visit, Senior Airman Marquis Soto received a memorable surprise as he was named this year’s WrestleMania “Military Spotlight” honoree and was given tickets to attend the event at Allegiant Stadium.

In addition to their base visit, the WWE stars stopped by the Coral Academy of Science for a special assembly celebrating “Purple Up Day,” an annual celebration held each April during the Month of the Military Child. The day honors the strength and sacrifices of military children and encourages communities to wear purple on April 15 in solidarity.
