Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling is at the Pearl Theater in the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, NV.
Commentary is by Veda Scott and Mark Roberts. They are ALWAYS drowned out when they try to talk over the music or announcement in the ring.
We start the show with the Up Up Girls to hype up the crowd and sing the theme song. The ring announcer goes down the card.
Wakana Uehara and Yuki Kamifuku vs Toga and Uta Takami
Toga and Wakana start with waistlocks. They move to arm bars and Wakana trips Toga and grabs a headlock. Toga reverses it and Wakana grabs a leg and tries to cover, but Toga escapes and we reset. Yuki and Uta tag in and Uta runs the ropes and gets a drop-kick. Yuki gets an eye poke and a scoop slam.
Wakana tags in and they get a double team take down. Yuki knocks Toga off the apron. Wakana and Yuki get running boots in the corner and Wakana gets a series of blows. Wakana gets a handspring back elbow and follows with a drop-kick for two. Uta gets a few blows in but Wakana shuts her down. Uta gets a drop-kick after whipping Wakana to the ropes and Toga tags in.
Toga gets a shoulder tackle and then a scoop slam followed by rolling thunder for two. Wakana grabs an arm bar with Toga head trapped and Toga fights out and gets a clothesline off the ropes on Wakana. Wakana gets a drop-kick after cartwheeling out of Toga’s way. Yuki gets an octopus hold and Toga gets to the ropes for the break. Yuki follows with a running kick. Yoga fights off the suplex and they each try for the slam and Toga wins.
Uta tags in and gets a drop-kick and then an elbow in the corner. Uta gets a springboard missile drop-kick for two. Uta is whipped to the corner and Yuki hits a shotgun drop-kick. Uta is up and fires in forearms and Yuki gets a big boot to stop her. Uta locks on the Koala clutch and Yuki pokes the eyes for an escapes.
Toga gets in the ring and hits a fallaway slam. Wakana gets a kick and gets a snap suplex on Toga. Toga gets a slam on Wakana and Toga and Wakana roll to the floor. Uta gets a pin for two. Uta gets a drop-kick and Yuki gets amule kick and a brain buster. Yuki gets a famouser for the pin and the win.

Alexis Lee, HIMAWARI, and Shino Suzuki vs Pom Harajuku, Raku, and Yuki Aino
Lots of shenanigans before the match.
Pom’s team lays down when the bell rings and rolls out of the way when Lee’s team tries to cover. Pom’s team gets triple roll ups for two. Pom’s team is whipped into each other and Lee’s team asks the crowd which corner to whip them into for charges into the corner. Thyme last ones are Shino who gets a cover on Raku.
HIMAWARI is tagged in and whips Raku with her hair, but Raku gets a brain chop and then chops HIMAWARI’s hair. Raku runs the ropes, stepping on HIMAWARI and then sits on her for two. Aino tags in and stomps down HIMAWARI. Aino charges into HIMAWARI in the ropes and then hits a senton for two.
Pom is tagged in and has a large six sided die. She rolls a three and hits three forearms. She gives the die to HIMAWARI and rolls a six. Pom then hits six forearms. She gives the die again and it rolls a zero. Pom kicks her shin and then gets a rolling neckbreaker. Lee is tagged in and gets sling blades on Pom. Lee gets a PK and covers for two. Lee bites Pom’s neck and Pom gets a rope break and starts crying. Lee goes to comfort her and Pom gets a rollup for two. Pom gets a missile drop-kick from the second rope and Raku is tagged in for a brain chop.
Raku gets a drop-kick for two. Lee fights off a rollup and slams Raku’s head into the mat. Lee gets a running boot as Raku is in the ropes. Raku goes for a brain chop and Lee bites her arm to stop her. Lee gets a Saito suplex. Raku gets a running sling blade and they crawl to their corners.
Aino and HIMAWARI tag in and Aino dumps HIMAWARI in a backdrop. She follows with a jumping twisting senton for two. HIMAWARI gets out of a lift and chokes Aino with her braid and then gets a sidewalk slam on Aino. Shino tags in and they double-team Aino. Shino lays in blows and then hits a running drop-kick, but Aino gets a shoulder tackle and then a gut wrench suplex. Pom and Raku chase after HIMAWARI and Raku with their weapons.
Shino gets an O’Conner roll on Aino and then grabs a sleeper hold. Pom breaks it up by throwing her die. Saito grabs the die and rolls it and it comes up zero. Pom turns to die to a six and HIMAWARI grabs a full nelson and Shino gets five before Pom escapes from the last blow. Each woman gets a big move on the last woman in the ring. Aino gets a bulldog on Shino and hits the Venus DDT for the pin and the win.
Winners: Pom Harajuku, Raku, and Yuki Aino
This was a silly comedy match with each woman having some sort of comedy gimmick.
Miyu Yamashita vs Mizuki vs Miu Watanabe
All three lock up and Mizuki is sent to the mat. Miu and Miyu trade arm bars until Mizuki breaks it up with a bite and a chop. Mizuki gets a cravate on Miu and Miyu gets on Mizuki and flips both of them. Miyu gets PKs on both. They all end up on the stage and Miyu gets running PKs. Miyu then gets PKs on the ramp, but Mizuki dodges the kick and dumps Miyu to the floor and gets a leaping double stomp from the ramp to the floor. Mizuki leaps at Miu, who catches her and slams her into the ring.
Mizuki is rolled into the ring and Miu gets shoulder thrusts and then a splash followed by a shoulder tackle. Miu gets a swinging backbreaker for two. She tries for a giant swing and Mizuki grabs the ropes. Miyu grabs Mizuki and Miu pulls them both into the ring. Miyu gets a running clothesline on Miu. Miyu gets a running kick in the ropes for two. Miyu gets a running lariat and then a headlock takeover and holds on Miu gets to the ropes for a break.
Miyu gets a running knee strike in the corner and follows with an attitude adjustment. Mizuki tries to steal the pin. Miyu tries for a double axe handle, but Mizuki dodges it. Mizuki gets a drop-kick into Miyu and through the ropes. Mizuki goes to the top for a crossbody for two. They dodge each other’s moves until Miyu gets an inside out German suplex and then a buzzsaw kick, but Mizuki dodges and goes to the top for a double stomp, but Miu breaks it up.
Miu gets the giant swing on Miyu and covers for two. Miu tries to lift Miyu, but Miyu blocks in and gets a kick into the corner. Mizuki and Miu run into Miyu. Miu picks up Mizuki and Miyu gets a springboard kick off the second rope into both of them. All three women are down. They throw hands on their knees as they work to their feet. Miu and Mizuki nail each other and Miyu dodges and gets a kick to Mizuki. Miu is able to pick them both up for a slam.
Mizuki and Miu go back and forth and Miu wins the battle with a double axe handle. Mizuki recovers and gets a running cross body for two. Mizuki gets a spinning crossbody for two. As Mizuki and Miu go back and forth, Miyu gets a big kick on Miu while Mizuki gets a power slam on Miyu. Mizuki goes to the top and hits a double stomp for two, broken up by Miyu. Miyu gets a running pump kick on Mizuki for the pin and the win.
Winner: Miyu Yamashita
A much more serious three-way. Easily the best match of the show so far.
Suzume (International Princess Champion) vs Sakura Hattori
They shake hands to start the match. They lock up and Hattori gets a quick takedown, a kick, and a pin for two. Suzume gets head scissors and Hattori fights out. Suzumi gets a roll-up for two and follows with a second cover for two and then a drop-kick. Hattori gets a back elbow and then poses and Suzumi gets up and misses a drop-kick.
Hattori gets a series of strikes on the mat and covers for two. Hattori keeps Suzumi down by kneeling on her back and Suzumi gets to the ropes for a break. Hattori gets a handspring kick for two. Suzumi gets a strike but Hattori whips her to the corner and then grabs her arms for a roll through pin for two.
Suzumi gets a strike to the midsection, but Hattori gets a charge with Suzumi getting a face plant. She hits a standing drop-kick and then a bulldog out of the corner for two Suzumi gets head scissors and Hattori breaks out with knee strikes. Suzumi gets a famouser style takedown and they fight on the apron. Suzumi ends it with a bulldog on the floor.
Hattori is rolled into the ring and Suzumi gets a flying crossbody from the top for two. Hattori gets a trip and then traps the leg and rolls Suzumi up for a two count. Hattori gets a drop-kick. Hattori gets a rear choke and Suzumi rolls abc for a two. Suzumi rolls her up again for two. Suzumi gets a Gori bomb and goes to the top.
Suzumi is knocked down by Hattori hitting the ropes. Hattori goes up top as well and gets a spider suplex. Hattori gets a diving forearm for two. Hattori gets a step-up insigiri from behind and then a kick to the head. Hattori drags Suzumi to the middle of the ring and springs off the top rope for a twisting senton, but Suzumi dodges it and hits a cutter for two.
Both women struggle to get up and they get a series of reversals and Suzumi gets a drop-kick. Suzumi gets a springboard facebuster after climbing the ropes and hits the cutter for the pin and the win.
Winner and still champion: Suzumi
Excellent back and forth match.
The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay) (Princess Tag Team Champions) vs Hyper Misao and Shoko Nakajima
The crowd chants loudly for Shoko. The Iinspiration take a sign from a fan and rip it up in the ring. Misao and Shoko refuse the handshake after offering it. The Iinspiration pose in the rope and Misao finally gets a mic that works. She introduces herself and Shoko and they have one mission, to get their belts back.
They then attack the Iinspiration and the Iinspiration reverse it and get ten in the corner on both of Shoko and Misao. When the Iinspiration almost run into each other, Misao sprays something in their face. The match moves to the floor and the Inspiration is wrapped in the ring skirt. Iinspiration are about to ram Misao and Shoko into each other.
Shoko is rolled into the ring and she gets a rollup on McKay for two. McKay works over Shoko and tries to tie up her tail, but Misao breaks her free. Shoko gets a tarantula on McKay and then Misao gets an arm bar on McKay after a two count. Misao drops a leg on the arm and Shoko gets a slingshot senton for two.
McKay gets the tag to Lee and they double-team Shoko. Shoko is worked over the Iinspiration’s corner and becomes the babyface in peril. Eventually, Shoko runs the Iinspiration into each other and gets a springboard kick off of McKay’s back into Lee. Misao is tagged in and runs wild. Misao puts Lee on top. Lee fights back and then drops to the mat. McKay tags in and they double-team Misao until McKay covers for two.
Misao is able to recover and reverse a hold. She then gets a submission hold and McKay gets to the ropes. McKay gets a rollup for two. Misao gets a running kick and then McKay does the same and both women are down. Lee and Shoko tag in and they dodge each other's moves until Shoko gets a slam for two. Shoko gets a drop-kick and then a running clothesline and then a slingshot tejaris followed by a drop-kick.
Shoko goes for a tiger feint kick and McKay blocks it from hitting Lee. McKay gets a headbutt and Misao is shoved away. Iinspiration gives Shoko a double kick, but she is able to drop them into the ropes for a double tiger feint kick. Misao gets a double cross body and Shoko gets a northern light suplex on Lee for two, broken up by McKay.
All four women struggle to their feet and throw hands as they do. Misao and Shoko drop the Iinspiration and get the high low on Lee. Lee and McKay regroup and double slam Shoko for the pin and the win.
Winners and still Princess Tag Team Champions: The Iinspiration.
Yuki Arai (Princess of Princess Champion) vs J-Rod
Arai calls for a handshake and J-Rod refuses. They start with arm bars and Arai turns it into a headlock. J-Rod reverses and they run the ropes. Arai tries for a shoulder tackle and J-Rod doesn’t move until the third, and J-Rod knocks Arai down. The fight in the corner, reversing back and forth. J-Rod charges into the corner and Arai gets a boot up and follows with a drop-kick. Arai gets a running knee drop for two. J-Rod blocks the suplex and delivers one of her own. She pins Arai with pushups.
J-Rod gets a German release suplex. She whips Arai into the ropes and Arai gets a back elbow. J-Rod pulls Arai down with a handful of hair and then hits a leaping splash for two. Arai rolls to the floor. J-Rod slams Arai’s head into the apron and then tries to run her into the ring’post. Arai gets a foot up and runs J-Rod into the ringpost. J-Rod hoists Arai and drops her face first onto the apron.
J-Rod rolls Arai into the ring and grabs a rear chinlock with a captured arm. Arai gets to the ropes for a break. Arai gets a drop toe hold into the turnbuckles and then a running boot. Arai is able to lift J-Rod for a slam. Arai goes to the top and hits a drop-kick from the top for two. Arai tries for a sharpshooter and Arai hits her midsection, but J-Rod boots her away. J-Rod gets a spinebuster for two. J-Rod screams at the ref and then lays in chops in Arai in the corner.
J-Rod gets a side slam for two. Arai gets a back slide for two. J-Rod picks up Arai and Arai slides down into a sharpshooter. J-Rod gets to the ropes for a break and Arai pulls her back for more time. J-Rod grabs the ropes again. J-Rod escapes the full nelson and gets a spinning forearm. Arai gets a boot up and J-Rod hits a spear for two as Arai grabs the ropes.
J-Rod gets a one arm slam for two. J-Rod grabs the ref’s shirt to yell at him. She then berates Arai. Arai dodges a spear and J-Rod goes into the ring post. Arai hits a full nelson slam and then an axe kick for the pin and the win.
Winner and still Princess of Princess Champion: Yukio Arai
Arai thanks the crowd and says she loves J-Rod for such a good match. J-Rod says that Yuki earned her respect and loves her too.
This was an old school smaller opponent outworking a taller, stronger opponent.
Everyone comes from the back for the final bow. They all posed for each section of the audience.
I liked this show and it had a mix of comedy matches, WWE style matches and hard fought title matches. Probably my favorite indy show so far this week.
