By Mike Johnson on 2026-04-15 20:00:00

Welcome to PWInsider.com's live, ongoing coverage of Coastal Championship Wrestling's High Rollers in Las Vegas at the FSW Arena.

Pre-Show Notes:

Ricky Sosa will not be appearing as scheduled.  There was a fear within the venue among BRCW staff that TNA pulled him from Wrestlemania weekend but we are unable to substantiate that as fact.  The other version making the rounds is he had travel issues.

HIGH ROLLERS

Beastman with Bill Alfonso vs. Crush

Crush went right after Beastman , who shoved him away.  Crush nailed a big running elbow in the corner and worked over his body.  Beastman trapped him in the corner and nailed some chops.  He whipped Crush into the corner but was caught with an elbow as he charged.  Crush attempted a bodyslam but Beastman was too large and collapsed down atop of him for a two count.  Beastman worked over Crush and scored several two counts.  He locked in a chinlock but Crush battled to his feet,  Crush was splashed down from behind.  Beastman splashed him again for a two count.

Crush made a comeback and hit several clotheslines, then a big spinebuster.  Crush went to the top and nailed a big elbow.  He crawled over to make a pinfall but Beastman rolled to the floor.  Crush hit a dive to the outside.   He dumped Beastman back into the ring.  Crush went to the top but was booted in the face as he came off the top.  Beastman nailed a big cannonball in the corner for a two count.

He continued to beat on Crush.  He went the ropes but Crush attacked him.  He tried to powerbomb him out of the corner but Beastman dropped down with an Earthquake splash style move, then scored the pin.

Your winner, Beastman!

This was the best I've seen of Beastman.  Crush had a nice physique and worked hard.

WWE ID Prospect Sam Holloway vs. Jai Vidal.

The crowd was all over Holloway for being from Ohio.  Vidal was formerly with TNA.

Vidal was backed into the corner and drilled with a hard chop.  Holloway menaced him in the corner but Vidal reversed it and nailed several chops before kicking him to the floor.   Vidal went for a dive but was caught and crotched on the guard rail.  The crowd loved that and chanted for one more time.  Holloway instead elevated and dropped Vidal across the apron.  He whipped Vidal hard into the buckles several times.

Holloway slammed Vidal and covered him for a two count.  Vidal fought back frim underneath but was caught and slammed with authority to the mat for another two count.    Holloway played a good monster bully heel, working over Vidal.  He used his boot to smother Vidal in the corner.  Vidal finally fought back and sent Holloway to the floor, them hit a dive.  They battled to the top, where Vidal hit a sunset flip powerbomb.  Holloway hit a sit-out powerbomb and scored the pin.

Your winner, Sam Holloway!

Both looked good here.

Nine Man Scramble Match: Shreddy vs.  Big Guns Justin vs. Rhys Maddox vs. Tyler Shoop vs. Marcus D'Angelo vs. Dillon McQueen vs.

Shreddy is a UK talent.  I didn't catch some of the competitors' names over the house mic.  Sorry.  This followed your typical Scramble match format with lots of spots and people in and out.  Dillon McQueen forced a submission with a crossface.

Your winner, Dillon McQueen!

Way too much going in for yours truly to recap live in the moment from my position in the venue.

Stallion Rogers vs. LJ Cleary

Cleary had a fun entrance where he kept returning backstage and coming back out to get a bigger reaction.  Rogers attacked him before the bell but Cleary hit some nice offense to rebound, including a spinkick and a sunset flip.  Rogers cut off his momentum and chopped him hard against the buckles.  Rogers put the boots to Cleary and scored several near falls.  Cleary tried to mount a comeback but he was taken down and drilled with several running boots in the corner.  Cleary finally exploded with a leaping kick but was too spent to execute a pinfall.  The referee counted them both down but they pulled themselves to their feet.  They battled back and forth until Cleary hit a double stomp off the ropes.

Rogers cut him off with a Kryptonite Krunch across the knee.  He measured and charged but was caught with a kick to the head and several strikes.  He nailed an explosion of offensive maneuevers including a flip piledriver the crowd loved.  Rogers was locked in a Boston Crab but fought towards the ropes.  Cleary pulled him back into the middle but Rogers escaped and caught him with an inside cradle for a two count.  Rogers nailed a leg lariat and hit a Gotch piledriver for the pin.

Your winner, Stallion Rogers!

They each worked hard.  Cleary got a nice round of applause after.  This was real good.

CCW Women's Champion Kristin Blaze vs. J-Rod

Blaze dropped her belt, perhaps on purpose, which got a big reaction from the crowd giving her grief.

They locked up and had some nice back and forth action.  J-Rod is on the new season of American Gladiators that debuts this week and was clad in red, white and blue.  Blaze showed some athleticism including a good dropkick.  She took control and aggressively worked over the challenger.  J-Rod kept kicking out.  Blaze used her boot to smother her in the corner and kept working her over.

J-Rod finally tried to mount a comeback but was caught with a running knee.  They began slugging it out but Blaze took J-Rod to the mat and cinched in a side chinlock.   Blaze was caught with a lungblower for a two count.  J-Rod caught her going for a move in the corner and dumped the champ with a big belly to back suplex.  J-Rod appeared to be bleeding from the mouth.  Rod nailed a series of rights and hit a clothesline, then a running elbow in the corner.  Rod powerbombed Blaze and covered her for a two count.

J-Rod missed a charge into the buckles.  Blaze nailed her with a Northern Lights suplex, bridging for a two count.  J-Rod went to the ropes but the referee was shoved into them and she crashed and burned.  Blaze took advantage and scored the pin.

Your winner and still CCW Women's Champion, Kristen Blaze!

They worked super hard.

“Big Trouble” Ben Bishop vs. Matt Riddle.

They locked up with the monstrous Bishop shoving Riddle to the mat, then repeating the feat.  Bishop called for a test of strength, mocking Riddle along the way.  It's been all Bishop early on.  Riddle jumped on his back with a sleeper but was tossed over.  Riddle rebounded with another submission attempt but was taken down.  Riddle went to the apron outside but Bishop pulled him up.  Riddle's legs snatched him in a triangle choke.  Bishop escaped and nailed a spinning sideslam.

Bishop continued to work him over, draping him over the buckles and beating Riddle across the back.  Bishop shoulderblocked him down again and again.  He drilled Riddle across the sternum with a big shot and then hit a big boot for a two count.  Bishop continued to maul Riddle.  He picked up Riddle across his shoulders and slammed him down.  Riddle kicked up at the last second.

Riddle fired back with kicks and strikes, finally taking the big man down.  Riddle locked on armbar, hanging off Bishop, who finally elevated and slammed him down.  Riddle was beaten and choked on the mat.    Riddle nailed a leaping forearm in the corner and went for a splash but was caught and hit with a Fall Away Slam.  Riddle kicked off a charge and hit a twisting moonsault into Bishop.  Bishop cut him off and chokeslammed him.  He lifted Riddle again, who sat on his shoulders and nailed a series of elbow strikes in the elbow, finally taking down Bishop and scoring the pin.

Your winner, Matt Riddle!

They told a good, believable story.

Izzy Moreno vs. Shotzi Blackheart vs. Sammi Chaos

Moreno is the young girl who was a kid loving Bayley and is now competing on the indies.  Moreno and Shotzi double teamed the larger Chaos.  Moreno and Shotzi then faced off, battling back and forth.  Moreno showed some nice fire.  She hit a Northern Lights suplex.  Blackheart came back to catch her with a 619 and scored a two count.  Blackheart hung herself upside down to lock ia head scissors on Moreno, but left herself open for Chaos to drill her with a series of overhead chops from the floor.

Chaos controlled the ring, chopping and stepping on her opponents.  Moreno tried to fire back but was taken down by a powerful double chop.   Chaos killed Shotzi and Moreno with running Avalanches in the corner.  Shotzi took control and hit a cannonball on both opponents, scoring a two count on Chaos.  Shotzi nailed a series of kicks on Chaos, then took out Moreno, scoring a two count.    Moreno battled back and hit a flying bodypress for a two count.  Chaos attacked but Moreno escaped and nailed several shots.  Moreno was placed on the top rope but was able to nail a tornado DDT off the ropes.

Moreno and Chaos were sent to the floor, where Shotzi hit a dive on them.  Chaos snatched Izzy in a bearhug but Izzy slapped her ears.  She went for a sunset flip but Chaos dropped down and pinned her, despite Shotzi trying to break it up.

Your winner, Sammi Chaos!

Cha Cha Charlie vs. Josh Bishop

The crowd enjoyed yelling Cha for Charlie.  He and Bishop battled back and forth.  Charlie nailed a leaping clothesline in the corner but was quickly taken out by Bishop's explosive offense.  Bishop drilled him wuth chops.  Bishop drilled Charlie with a big boot to the face.  He grabbed Charlie for a suplex and slammed him down, complaining he was too weak.  Bishop grabbed Charlie's signature hat and mocked him, saying he was going to break his face.  Charlie sent him hard into the buckles and exploded with offense, including a bakc suplex for a two count.

Charlie rallied the crowd and nailed a big elbow for a two count.  Charlie came off the top but Josh moved and snatched him with a spinning slam for a close two count.  It looked great.  Josh went to powerbomb him over the top to the floor but Charlie escaped, took him down and rolled up Bishop for the pin.

Your winner, Cha Cha Charlie!

Bishop had tons of presence as a heel.  He and Sam Holloway attacked Charlie but Jai Vidal made the save with a chair.

CCW Champion Gangrel vs. Jimmy Lloyd.

Lloyd is a regular for GCW.  Gangrel played to the crowd a lot early.  They locked up with neither getting the advantage.  Gangrel nailed a series of rights but was drilled with a knee.  Gangrel came back to run him into the buckles head-first over and over.  They battled to the floor and up the entrance ramp.  Gangrel slammed him into the ring apron head-first and smashed Lloyd into the guard rail.

Gangrel went for the Implant DDT but was driven backwards into the buckles.  Lloyd speared him for a two count.  He choked Gangrel against the ropes and choked him.  Gangrel fought back but was mauled by Lloyd.  He shot Lloyd into the ropes but was grabbed by his hair and smashed backwards into the mat.  They battled to the floor, where Gangrel was choked against the railing.   Lloyd continued to work over Gangrel on the floor.
