TNA Rebellion 2019 - Sami Callihan vs. Rich Swann – No DQ, OVE banned from ringside.

Callihan was superkicked at the onset.  He kept charging and kept getting kicked.  Callihan ate a series of strikes and a big kick that sent him to the floor.  Swann grabbed a staple gun and stapled Sami’s face, then his shoulder.  He continued assaulting Callihan.

Several weapons, including trash cans and chairs.  Swann was stapled in the mouth and then in the face.  Callihan nailed a series of kicks and drilled him with a Facewash in the corner.  Callihan smashed Swann with a cookie sheet on the floor.  Callihan kept beating the crap out of Swann and they teased Swann couldn’t continue.

Callihan went into the crowd and emerged with a piece of the barricade, which he laid against the ring entrance ramp.  Callihan dragged Swann around ringside and nailed Swann with a drink.  Swann was brought into the ring.  Callihan teased he was going to powerbomb Swann out of the ring onto the guard rail by the ramp but Swann escaped and grabbed a chair.  He nailed Sami with it. 

Sami was placed in a chair in a sitting position.  Swann rebounded off the ropes but was caught and hit with an exploder into the chair.  That looked like a nasty bump.  Callihan went for a powerbomb but Swann drilled him with a cookie sheet in mid-air.  He nailed Sami again.  Callihan spat at him.  Swann wiped it off his face and ate it.  ENOUGH WITH THAT.

Swann slammed Callihan on a trash can for a two count.  Callihan rolled out of the ring to the ramp.  Swann grabbed a plastic caution sign and blasted him across the back with it. He kept smashing Callihan with it, all the way up the ramp.  They battled all the way up.  Swann swung off some of the girders that were used for the entrance and hit a rana.  He then hit a handspring off the ropes into a cutter on the ramp.  The crowd popped for that.

Swann dove off the ropes but Callihan drilled him with a punch.  Swann was knocked off the apron but superkicked Callihan as he dove after him.  Callihan landed on the barricade.  Callihan cut off Swann and nailed a piledriver on the barricade.  Swann was brought back into the ring and covered for a two count.

Callihan brought out a giant Lego from under the ring and poured a bunch of little Legos.    Callihan was fought off and slammed into the Legos.  Swann went to the top but Callihan threw salt in his face and piledriver off the buckles for a two count. 

Callihan brought out a barbed wire baseball bat from under the ring.  He told Swann to quit.  Swann said he would never quit and grabbed a testicular claw.  Callihan dropped the bat.  Swann nailed him with the handle and locked on a crossface with the barbed wire bat ripping across Callihan’s face.  Callihan quit.

Gia Miller's Around the Ring interview is Dutch.  They talked about his love of horror music and bands that he's currently listening to.  His comfort horror films are the original 1979 Salem's Lot, Devil's Rejects and American Ninja.  The first film he ever saw in the movies was Jurassic Park.  

Home Town Man vs. Moses

HTM tried to tackle Moses, who was a bigger guy, but was unable to move him.  Moses backed him in the corner and chopped him hard.  HTM was sent into the corner but went up and over and drilled his opponent.  HTM rained down with punches in the corner.  Moses missed a charge in the corner.  HTM stomped away at him as the fans chanted his name.  HTM nailed a running clothesline in the corner.  HTM came off the ropes with a bodypress but was caught and slammed.  Moses kicked away and then stepped over HTM.  Moses locked in a bear hug but HTM fought his way back.  He drilled Moses and hit a big bodyslam, then hit a high cross bodyblock for a two count.  Moses avoided the Home Town Slice but drilled HTM and hit a big splash for a two count.  Moses missed a Vader Bomb out of the corner, was hit with the Home Town Slice and pinned.

Your winner, Home Town Man!

Moses looked good and played a larger heel well.
